NACA VENT | VENTURI EFFECT
Harnessing the Venturi effect, the NACA vent pushes warm air through specially placed exhausts, while fast-moving air cools the head.
The MET Trenta features a flat rear deflector inclined at 25°, which makes it possible to include two wide exhausts that optimise airflow when you’re on the drops and riding hard.
REAR DEFLECTOR | TUBE-SHAPED TAIL
The tail of the helmet also has an aerodynamic purpose. It works in synergy with the NACA front vent and the rear deflector to effectively drive airflow.

| The MET Trenta 3K Carbon is the most advanced road cycling helmet we have ever made. Delivering unprecedented levels of performance, it’s a vital companion for serious riders with a competitive spirit. | Our 3K Carbon Technology is what helps this helmet outperform any other currently on the market. The carbon’s elastic modulus allows us to reduce the density of the EPS foam by 20%, without affecting its capacity to absorb energy. The parallel ‘ribs’ are linked from the centre of the helmet by a carbon cage embedded into the liner, making it dramatically lighter compared to a traditional construction.

| The MET Trenta was created to mark our 30th anniversary year. We wanted to develop a helmet for elite riders, a competitive edge for the best in the sport. The name, of course, is the Italian for ‘30’. | Enhanced for use in the peloton, the MET Trenta’s tube-shaped tail and internal channeling ensure it performs best when riding in a group, offering up to 7% reduction in drag vs a traditional road helmet. | Engineered to keep you cool, the front NACA vent and rear deflectors work together to channel airflow through the helmet, without slowing you down. | Optimised for urban riding, the MET Corso offers an extra level of protection with an extended outer shell – compared to standard road cycling helmets. | MET Corso gives a choice of soft or rigid visor. The stiff plastic visor provides a racier look, while the softer, fabric option taps into a more casual, retro aesthetic. | To enhance visibility at night, or when riding in heavy traffic, the MET Corso features reflective strap anchors both at the sides and rear of the helmet.
