Salutation
Llevamos 15 años disfrutando de una formación musical tan singular como es la Simfònica de Cobla i Corda de Catalunya, impulsada en 2008 por Metalquimia y la Fundación Metalquimia. Durante todo este tiempo nos habéis ofrecido un viaje por diferentes estilos musicales que nos han permitido escuchar una nueva interpretación de piezas tradicionales catalanas, de piezas conocidas internacionalmente y de composiciones inéditas elaboradas en exclusiva por músicos catalanes reconocidos.
For 15 years we have enjoyed such a unique musical formation as the Simfònica de Cobla i Corda de Catalunya, promoted in 2008 by Metalquimia and the Fundació Metalquimia. During all this time, you have offered us a journey through different musical styles that have allowed us to hear a new interpretation of traditional Catalan pieces, internationally known pieces and unpublished compositions prepared exclusively by renowned Catalan musicians.
Este año podremos vivir la Navidad con los conciertos de The Spirit of Christmas porque se combinará desde música medieval hasta éxitos contemporáneos, en un montaje con las voces de cantantes tan conocidos y queridos como Miki Núñez, Mariona Escoda, Beth, Elena Gadel, La Pau o Joan Garrido, además de la Polifónica de Puig-reig. En conjunto, una muestra del talento y la calidad musical que existe en Catalunya y que nos hace sentir plenamente orgullosos.
This year we will be able to live the Christmas with The Spirit of Christmas concerts that will combine very different pieces, from medieval music to contemporary hits, in a staging with the voices of well-known and beloved singers such as Miki Núñez, Mariona Escoda, Beth, Elena Gadel, La Pau or Joan Garrido, as well as the choir Polifónica de Puig-reig. All in all, a showcase of the talent and musical quality that exists in Catalonia and that makes us feel completely proud.
La cultura es un elemento indispensable para todas las sociedades que se quieran empoderadas, porque nos ofrece herramientas para crecer y hacernos más libres. Por esta razón hay que reconocer y agradecer todo el trabajo que realizan los más de 140 músicos, directores, técnicos, artistas, y todas las personas que hacen posible un espectáculo de esta envergadura. Muchas gracias a todas y todos por participar y por impulsar siempre adelante la música y la cultura. Estoy convencido de que nos volveréis a emocionar.
Culture is an essential element for all societies that want to be empowered, because it offers us tools to grow and make us freer. That is why we must recognize and thank all the work done by the more than 140 musicians, directors, technicians, artists, and all the people who make a show of this magnitude possible. Thank you everyone for participating and for always pushing music and culture forward. I am convinced that it will thrill us again.
