Pavilion XXXV co-chairs, Allison Casper Adams and Debra L. Williams

Phoenix Rising Pavilion XXXV

As the pandemic put a pause on many charitable events last year, one of Tampa Bay’s most exclusive galas, The Tampa Museum of Art’s Pavilion is planned with the theme of Phoenix Rising. Art patrons and museum supporters will gather on November 6, 2021 for an incredible black tie evening of cocktails, dinner, dancing and auctions to benefit the Museum.

Pavilion XXXV co-chairs, Debra L. Williams and Allison Casper Adams, are current board members and have attended numerous Pavilions throughout the years. “It’s been 18 or 19 Pavilions and Patron parties to date,” said Debra L. Williams and Allison Casper Adams. “Both of us also watched our parents attend in gowns and white tie, and tails, in the ‘80s and ‘90s!”

Both Williams and Adams are passionate about Tampa Bay and its growth on all levels.

“Cultural institutions that are accessible and welcoming to each and every citizen are a vital part of any community,” said Williams and Casper. “TMA takes this obligation very seriously, and it is our pleasure to work with the outstanding staff and board to fulfill this duty to the highest degree.”

“The theme Phoenix Rising speaks to a rebirth of sorts and a magnificent future for TMA,” said Williams and Adams. “We just closed our 100th anniversary year in 2020, and this Pavilion coincides with the first year of a new, second century of outstanding art education programming in Tampa.”

For 35 years, guests have enjoyed a spectacular evening, and this year will be no different. “Each year the chairs have outdone themselves with creativity and passion,” said Williams and Adams. “Our vendors, including Tampa Bay Metro magazine, are so generous with their time and talent to produce an amazing experience for our guests. We want to thank Alpert Enterprises, Botanica, Exeter International, One Fine Day, Southern Glazer Wine and Spirts, The Production Crew, and new to our team this year is Constellation Culinary Group. Without giving away the secrets, we can say without hesitation an over the top evening is in store for all.”

Pavilion XXXV celebrates its 2021 Honorees, Penny and Jeff Vinik, who are recognized for their commitment to the Tampa Museum of Art’s efforts to reduce barriers of admission, making exhibitions and programs accessible to all members of the community.

All proceeds raised support the Museum’s exhibition and innovative art education programs.

The Art & Science Of Beauty

ÉLAN Aesthetics, a boutique medical spa, announces new location and expansion in Hyde Park Village. ÉLAN Aesthetics is slated to open in their new location at 1503 West Swann Avenue next to On Swann in October 2021.

ÉLAN’s new space will feature the same elegant white and gold décor with an upscale vibe, but is double the square footage to accommodate their growth. Four additional treatment rooms, a larger reception area to keep their clients comfortable, and newly dedicated rooms for lasers and facials will help accommodate their growing menu of offerings.

Since ÉLAN opened its doors, owners Katrina Riley and Lindsey Cronk — Nurse Practitioners and long-time best friends, have created something special. Their passion, dedication, and love for what they do have helped develop relationships with clients, many of whom have become like family.

“At ÉLAN Aesthetics, we provide a unique experience with the most progressive aesthetic techniques and advanced products and services on the market. That mixed with our artistic touch, has proudly given us the recognition of 2021 ‘Top 100 Best Injectors in America’, Med-Aesthetics 2021 ‘Top 10 Aesthetic Clinics in America’ and ‘Best of South Tampa’ two years in a row,” says Katrina Riley, MSN, APRN-C, Co-Owner of ÉLAN Aesthetics. “Our boutique experience is unique, special, and personable; and something you can only get at ÉLAN. We personalize our aesthetic treatments to each client and are committed not only to providing beauty on the outside, but helping to promote self-confidence within our clients.”

The team at ÉLAN Aesthetics brings years of experience, knowledge, passion and advanced techniques to get you results you will love. All medical providers are highly experienced and trained, often attending advanced trainings around the world. They are best known for being early adopters of the latest technologies and most cutting-edge treatments. In 2021 Katrina and Lindsey were the first medspa in Tampa to welcome Tetra CO2 from Cartessa Aesthetics, as well as a brand new body contouring option — PHYSIQ which combines both fat burning and muscle stimulation!

With ÉLAN’s continued success and growing clientele after just a year in business, the need for a new, larger space and increased menu offerings has required expansion efforts. “We’ve always wanted to maintain that small, boutique feel,” says Lindsey Cronk, Co-Owner of ÉLAN, “but we’ve quickly run out of space with the growing demands of our business. We are dedicated to always keeping that very intimate, personalized experience — but with clients calling to make an appointment and a long wait list to get in, we also didn’t want to stifle our business.” The team has brought on two new Nurse Practitioners to round out their stellar team of talent and will possibly add a second Aesthetician at their new location.
