Cultural Arts Theater Theater 101 Ages 6 - 10 Your child will learn theater basics, enjoy some theater games and get up on the stage to put on a show for friends and family on the last day of class. Nature Photography Ages 12+ Develop your photographer’s eye as you venture out into the wilds of Tacoma to document the scenes through captured images. Specialized and Adaptive Recreation programs work together to provide sport, social, and recreational opportunities for people of all abilities. This includes a variety of Adaptive Recreation programs serving youth through adult with physical disabilities through activities such as wheelchair basketball, adaptive cycling, goalball, and adaptive youth programs. And Specialized Recreation programs for people with intellectual disabilities including programs like Special Olympics sports training, camping trips, community based day trips, art and cooking classes, on-going weekly social programs, and special events like the Cinderella Ball. Community members requesting ADA inclusion accommodations are also served by the capable Specialized and Adaptive Recreation staff.
