Fashion Photographer Tyler Kenny
Fashion Photographer Tyler Kenny, was born and raised in Colonia, New Jersey. A product of his loving and supportive parents- Lisa Caccamo and Patrick Kenny- Tyler always knew he was destined for greatness behind the lens. His love for photography started when he was gifted his first camera by his father on his 13th birthday. Tyler was ready to create for the world. With his theatrical persona and love for storytelling, there was no denying that he was here to perform. Collaborating with friends and family using different scenarios and realities to carry them into was how his journey began. Following years of YouTube university, the self-taught photographer expanded his love for portraits, expressions, and movement. It wasn’t until he turned 22, that his love for fashion had developed. Once Tyler understood the concept of a fashion editorial, there was no stopping him. To create beautiful stories with fashionable clothing AND be featured in magazines was a dream come true. Partnering with modeling agencies allowed him to bring his eccentric and edgy images to life in ways he couldn’t imagine. This eventually led Tyler into his niche as a fashion photographer. He is most inspired by how different lighting and conditions interact with clothing. Light is Tyler’s specialty, as he always experiments out of the box, with a variety of settings for both in studio and on location projects. His life goal is to travel around the world with his lens, while joining forces with influential artists, Icons and luxury brands for timeless magazines. Tyler tells stories through images his clients relate to and persists on building upon it. His motto is, “A perfect photo is a combination of great light and raw emotion” - Tyler Kenny.
To date, Tyler has been featured in various magazines such as L’officiel, Harper’s Bazaar, Numero Russia and Vanity Teen. You can find him capturing the perfect moment in the streets of New York City. He loves not only the amazing work and experiences, but the people he meets on his journey. So many great creatives can be connected through shared interests and opportunities. In this industry, everyone has something to offer you, just as you offer the same to them, whether it be resources or knowledge. Tyler found out that being around other creative like-minded people provides the most powerful learning experiences. From hair and wardrobe stylists, to makeup artists, it’s always amazing to see diverse individuals come together to add to a vision and help it come to fruition.
