STACEY ABRAHAMS Spotlight on Native New Yorkers’ Second Act

By Adam Kluger

I’m a freelance writer by trade, former stayat-home mom, breast cancer survivor, and entrepreneur. Besides writing, I love to explore my creativity through flower arranging. I embarked on my entrepreneurial second act as an Independent Consultant with Rodan + Fields® six years ago. With my children grown, I was ready to dive back into work. As a stay-at-home parent, I quickly discovered my options were limited; so, when a friend began to share the premium skincare brand, I was curious.

While I’d never considered direct selling, I knew I needed something of my own. I jumped in, saw a remarkable change in my skin, and started to share this anti-aging brand and the opportunity to work from anywhere. In my fifties, I immersed myself in the ins and outs of social media where I have successfully built a loyal customer base and growing team including an Emmy-award winning producer and my very own sister. I am living proof that it’s never to late to learn something new.

In 2020, during the pandemic, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Struggling with the emotional and physical challenges of cancer treatment including hair loss, weight gain, and chronic migraines, I barely recognized myself inside and out. When I looked in the mirror, nothing seemed familiar except for the youthful glow of my skin. At that moment in time, I realized that these transformative products and this opportunity were so much more than skincare.
