ach issue I want to bring to you experiences both bold and benign, luxe and leisure, for longtime residents and transplants alike. South Florida has much to offer, and I want to be your personal guide. Follow me as we begin this journey together because if you haven’t, you should... Take an 8-hour vacation at the 1 Hotel in South Beach or luxuriate in the spa and stay overnight. A short escape down to Miami, a true life and sanity saver, whether it be a shopping spree in Bal Harbor and a tea at The Surfside (The Four Seasons) then back home in time for a dinner with family. The need to break away is so important for our mental health as much as physical one spot in particular that gets me into 3rd gear right away is 1 Hotel South Beach. Typically I valet and cruise through the lobby with my oatmilk latte from Neighbors Cafe. I pop into Violet and Grace a boutique filled with trendy options, my last pick was a tan leather mini dress from Iro, love thier beach chic vibe. Habitat is a farm to table Mexican restaurant off the lobby that I must try one day, but everytime I head to 1 Hotel im drawn to Watr. Thier dropdead gorgoeus rooftop lounge
Ethat serves Peruvian/Japanese fusion. Watr is the place to be in South Beach to people watch, you can choose to sit at the bar and focus on meeting new people, sit poolside with models, or relax on the luxe sofas all while staring at the water far below. - no doubt Watr’s namesake. If seeing and being seen doesn’t strike your fancy then head to Wave 1 Hotel’s private restaurant on the beach open Friday Saturday and Sunday. When wining an dining just isn’t enough to put you in the full destressed mode head down to Bramford Wellness Spa, recently voted Florida’s best hotel spa. I get the Natura Bisse Diamond Facial which uses real diamonds to refine fine lines and wrinkles - no doubt a result of stress. Stress that will melt away with the Bramford Signature Treatment.
If - if, you find yourself so relaxed you need to stay the night, I recommend the Retreat Collection or their Sky Penthouse for a true ultimate luxury escape.
Same day or next day, valet card in hand, I am refreshed and back in the car for my easy drive back to Jupiter - no airplanes or Security lines.
