Touch-Free Pedestrian Signal
Santa Clara County announced that it would be installing touch-free pedestrian activation devices at crosswalks located at 25 intersections across the county, where pedestrians only have to wave their hand in front of them. So far, only one in South County is on the list at Monterey Road and San Martin Avenue. We hope the county adds more in Morgan Hill. We’re tired of using our elbows to awkwardly press those buttons.
