Metrosphere, an arts, lit and culture magazine, is a monthly multimedia publication that professionally showcases the creative work of students and alumni of Metropolitan State University of Denver. In print since 1984, Metrosphere offers a creative alternative to commercial news outlets. In 2007 and 2011, Metrosphere added the Associated Collegiate Press’s prestigious Pacemaker Award to its record of recognition and achievement. This year, Metrosphere was awarded the SPJ Region 9 Mark of Excellence award for Best College Magazine. Metrosphere is supported by Met Media, which exists to provide a comprehensive, multimedia learning experience for MSU Denver students.
