BAG Leather is a material I have never tried working with before, so I had to give it a try. Being a complete newbie in leather design, I designed a very simple shoulder bag without all the fuss. It is made of thin cowhide in an almost no-sow style with a lining made of a black, woven cupro material.

BRALETTE Lingerie is a personal interest of mine and a niche of the industry, I would like to be a part of one day, so of course I had to attempt making a underwear piece. It turned out as a bralette with adjustable straps in woven elastic and a hook and eyeclosure.

STINE GOYA RESORT AW 16/17 My final exam from VIA Design. For this project I made a mini Resort collection for the danish brand STINE GOYA. My inspiration came from the Gran Canarian beaches, water and stones. The collection is called “Beaches” and is targeted to the customers of STINE GOYA who leaves the Scandinavian, cool winter in exchange for hotter weathers.

RAINS Drip, drip, drip.

SUSTAINABILITY During the summer of 2015, there was a much focus on cows’ well-being. On multiple occasions, cow’s stomachs had been cut open due to sharp objects in their food. These sharp objects were caused by tiny pieces of abandoned trash, such as aluminium cans. This is a group project from VIA Design, and my group decided to focus on a possible way to get rid of this problem. We made a campaign urging people to deliver their used aluminium cans and plastic bags to an arrangement for a deposit on packaging, like the danish “pant-system”, so these materials could tranform into umbrellas from danish brand RAINS. It is a project benefitting both the situation and the welfare of the cows.

PANTS These pants was made for a project at VIA DESIGN. This project consisted of learning the basics of making legwear, such as trousers, jeans and pants. I made a highwaisted pair of pants with a seam down the leg. It also has pockets and a invisible zipper in the side seam.

COAT This coat was made for a project at VIA DESIGN. This project included a minicollection for swedish brand FILIPPA K, inspired by beautiful Icelandic nature. I made a coat inspired by trenchcoats, with big pockets in a nice and soft wool material.

THE OUTSIDER The 50’s greasers, motor oil and social outsiders was the inspiration of this editorial. I has been made with guidance from photographer and stylist Louise Damgaard. The editorial is a modern version of the greaser culture and combines styling and photography in true James Deanstyle. Photographer & stylist: Mette Bramstrup Model: Daniel Rand

FACELESS

ART AND SHAPE The exhibition “FACELESS” during fall 2014 at danish museum HEART in Herning was the inspiration for this project. The project is from VIA Design and goes under the name “Art and Shape” focusing on creativity and jersey materials. I focused on a piece from Peachoo + Krejberg, which gave me immediate associations to a sort of decorated straitjacket, and this was something I tried to contain in my design. This is the main reason why the style has no sleeves and I have tried to keep some structure from the wild feather details in a more minimalistic style.

NIGHTWEAR The 1st year exam at VIA Design had focus on making additional sales for a fashion brand of choice. I made a mini collection for the danish brand By Malene Birger. This mini collection was made of night wear and lounge wear in the brands DNA. I tried to combine something magnificent with something very light and more casual. Thereby, dark clouds, giant rocks - and the spectacular colors of nature was combined with soft, flowy materials like silk and lace for a relaxed Sunday Morning feeling.

While interning at Brandtex in 2015 I had the opportunity to draw a print for the SS 16 collection. Here I had a chance to play around in Photoshop. I also made a quick doodle for the t-shirt listed as number 6. These two t-shirts are my first mass produced designs ever made.

bx white During my education at VIA Design I interned for 2 months at danish brand Brandtex A/S. Here I spent my days with the design team. The internship was a part of my education, and it ended with a written project consisting of a report and a SS 16 mini collection. I chose to develop a sub brand called BX White with a target group of women between the age of 25 and 35 years with medium income and a life, where family is the focal point.

A PHOTO A DAY

FOR A YEAR When I went to boarding school in 2009 and 2010, I had a personal project, where I aimed to take at least one photo every day - for a full year. I started on May 11th 2009. It was a challenge: A creative challenge, because not all days had any interesting elements, but it was also challenging to keep it up every day without missing a day. My school year consisted a lot of the nature around the school, my friends, a ski trip to Austria, the musical of the year, city lights and a lot of kittens, which were - unfortunately - not mine.
