ADAPTABILITY The volume control plate, positioned under the insole, allows for precise adaptation of the volume independently for the left and right foot. If the plate is removed, the shoe has greater volume.

RUBBER TOE PROTECTION Rubber reinforcement in the front of the boot protects the foot from sharp stones and unstable terrain.

FLEX ZONE In order to take the weight off the back part of the ankle, which carries most of the load during long treks up steep inclines, many Alpina boots come with a “flex zone” at the back. This alleviates pressure on the Achilles’ tendon, which enables easier and more relaxed uphill walking.

ERGONOMICS Many years of 3D foot measurements with high-tech scanners gave shape to a comfortable and natural design.

HEALTH This high-tech concept is refined with very natural materials: a flexible sole, nubuck leather, and latex glue are used to assure the proper breathability and natural feel of the shoe.
