My experience in architecture allowed me to participate more with the management team on site because of my skills in understanding the architect and relaying the tasks ordered by the project manager. Being a part of the family business allowed me to try my hand in all aspects of the design/build trade; by doing so, I have chosen to take the route of project manager and architectural designer which I believe can further my understanding of construction and design.
With several years experience in the construction field and several jobs and projects designed and built, I believe I would be a perfect candidate for employment at your firm. I have been involved in construction projects and design projects from a very young age. I started by assisting carpenters and masonry workers, and then learning the necessary skills needed in order to be employed by different companies. I learned a lot through hands-on experience and began managing work sites as my knowledge and skills grew. I entered the field of architecture partly because I was fascinated by how the use of design and creativity can be implemented into a real, physical structure that can influence future generations.
