Curriculum (30 credits) Take online courses in: • Wind Band Literature • Choral Literature • Musical Practices of the World • Integrating Technology into the Music Curriculum • Applied Research in Music Education
Admission Requirements • Undergraduate degree in music or music education from an accredited college or university with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher • Official transcripts • At least one year of teaching experience • Three letters of recommendation • Personal statement (1-2 pages) detailing career objectives • Video of teaching (510 minutes) or letters of reference addressing the applicant’s teaching experience • Academic paper (5-10 pages) on a subject in music history, music theory, or music education
