Rocket Project!!!! The path to the future!!!!

THE FIRST ROCKETS ď ˝

ď ˝

The first rockets were made in China in around the 13th century when they were experimenting with fireworks. They put gunpowder into tubes and started to develop them the Chinese are firework mad so they came up with more and more ideas and then they made the rocket. the Russians took over after that and sent dogs and many animals into space and then came the astronauts and cosmonauts.

What is a rocket? ď ˝

A rocket is a missile, spacecraft, aircraft or other vehicle which obtains thrust from a rocket engine. In all rockets, the exhaust is formed entirely from propellants carried within the rocket before use. Rocket engines work by action and reaction. Rocket engines push rockets forwards simply by throwing their exhaust backwards extremely fast.

Present day 

Rockets were originally made to help us explore and find out more about the universe, galaxy, solar system and overall space we have covered more than our ancestors could imagine and still more to come and do. NASA ( National aeronautics and space administration) is the main space orginisation (and is in America) but they aren’t going to launch anymore rockets and have handed over to the European associations (mainly Russia) The last rocket blasted into orbit in July 2011
