SECO NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF COMMUNITY OWNERS

TThe SECO National Conference of Community Owners is set for Sept. 27 – Oct. 1 with a full lineup of topics, panels, speakers, networking meetups, and ways to interact with exhibitors and sponsors.

The gathering’s second year going virtual will cater to hundreds of mobile home community owners and operators. SECO has been a landmark conference, held annually since 2009 in the Atlanta area, providing the opportunity to learn, interact, network, and shop the latest manufactured housing offerings.

SECO20 attracted nearly 500 attendees. SECO’s virtual format allows for a wide industry audience for networking and taking part in roundtables, presentations, and panel discussions.

SECO21 also offers a series of mini TED-talks on diverse topics such as resident-owned communities, 3D-printed homes, and the RV/MH Hall of Fame. The event also will host fireside chats, roundtables, networking with exhibitors and sponsors, and a virtual cocktail hour.

Among the SECO21 Speakers

Ed Barber is a CPA with 35 years of experience in real estate, finance, development, and acquisitions both domestically and internationally. He has specific expertise in strategic planning, capital procurement, financing, acquisition, investment, development, and implementation of real estate solutions.

Kevan Enger, a partner with Capstone Manufactured Housing, is a seasoned multi-housing investment sales broker. Previously working with Sperry Van Ness, he specialized in the acquisition and disposition of manufactured housing communities and RV parks across the state of Florida. He’s been an integral participant in the consultation or sale of manufactured housing communities worth more than $200 million.

Frank Rolfe has owned, operated, and invested in mobile home parks for nearly two decades. With his business partner Dave Reynolds, their writings have been the backbone of the landmark course and boot camp on the industry that has become the favorite of investors, appraisers, bankers, and everyone learning about the mobile home park business.

Ekaterina Stepanova is a principal at M2K Partners, which owns MHP communities across the United States totaling close to 500 spaces. She is a founder of Equity Tree, an online platform for commercial real estate deals and investor relations management, and also is the organizer of a mobile home park investor community called MHP Tribe that facilitates weekly meetings with investors, operators, and owners.
