Heating, Ventilation & Insulation

Ventmann UK Ltd

Ventmann diffusers are a revolutionary first in the UK – the first gypsum diffusers, the first diffusers to give a 100% seamless finish. For the most discerning designers, we have created a range of frameless, highly aesthetic indoor HVAC diffusers that allow even the sleekest modern interiors to achieve mixed, perfectly distributed airflow.

Why choose Ventmann gypsum diffusers?

Using gypsum makes them exceptionally durable, thanks to the innovative yet simple installation process. The diffuser forms a permanent bond with the surrounding plasterboard, making the ceiling (or wall) and diffuser behave as one continuous surface with similar material properties. Using only natural materials and precise manufacturing methods, Ventmann diffusers are the premium aesthetic alternative to traditional vents and grilles.

Passive solutions explained in our on-line video we explain the problems and solutions needed.

Before COP26 the Climate Change Committee identified passive measures to prevent overheating as 1 of 8 critical mitigations needed.

Dynamic shading with shutters and blinds is actually the insulation of the windows and the facilitator of large areas of glazing.

Over 20% of new buildings overheat, in our case study the temperature in the apartment with external louvre blinds was 18° lower than the unshaded room.

When we had North Sea Oil energy cost did not matter – it does now.

That is why we need passive solutions and now have Part O - see our video and guidance at www.hallmarkblinds.co.uk

MORE SPACE WITH KITCHEN PLINTH HEATER?

As we know when it comes to the kitchen, every home owner likes to have more usable space. This may be for extra kitchen cupboards or worktop areas but the kitchen is already full so finding that valuable extra space may prove to be difficult. Sometimes the only space available is where the radiator is fixed to the wall.

Once the radiator is removed to free up the space it brings another challenge as there now needs to be an alternative heating option installed to heat the kitchen.Underfloor heating is one option, however the cost of installing this in the old existing kitchen could prove to be very expensive. The floor would need to be excavated, new insulation boards have to go down and the under floor heating pipes secured. The pipe loops are then connected to an appropriate manifold and finally the screed goes down.

A much more cost effective solution is installing the hydronic plinth heater (fan-assisted radiator). This has become a great choice for home owners when either replacing kitchen radiators or planning a new kitchen. Plinth heaters can not only save space, they are so much cheaper to install compared to under floor heating. Hydronic plinth heaters can be directly connected to two pipe central heating system.

A Thermix plinth heater that’s controlled by a wireless thermostat not only provides consistent temperature control in the kitchen, it also allows the user to set different on /off time periods to the plinth heater. There is also an option available to control the heater using a smart phone or Alexa.

With the help of their low water content, plinth heaters provide faster heat response and leave much less residual heat when the heater turns off. This feature not only provides comfort heating to the user but also saves energy by not heating the room when not in use.
