Club Roundup Student Council
Student Council organized the Pennies for Patients Fund raiser and with the help of the student body, they raised $982.20.
Spanish Club
Spanish Club members and advisors Theresa Jennings and Angela Harmon went to the new grocery store in Bismarck, La Tejana Mexican Market, to purchase authentic Spanish snacks and beverages.
National Honor Society
New National Honor Society members will be inducted on Monday, April 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium. After the induction ceremony, all new members and their family members/ friends, will be invited to attend a reception hosted by Delta Kappa Gamma. The first meeting for all new members will be Wednesday, May 6 at 7:30 a.m. in the back of the library. The yearbook photo for all current and new members will be Wednesday, May 20 during third period.
FBLA members attended the ND FBLA State Leadership Conference in Fargo March 29-31. Over 1200 students from all 50 states competed. Mandan had many students place and here are their results. Boys’ Baseball
The Boys’ Baseball team is looking for a repeat or even a better year than the homerun 2014 season. Last year, the Braves had a great year taking second place in the WDA with a conference record of 10-4. Although the team may struggle with the loss of five seniors, but that isn’t stopping the outlook of this year’s players.
Girls Softball

Boys’ Swim and Dive
The Boys’ Swim and Dive team placed third at WDA and twelfth at State. They had three individuals place in the top eight: senior Keaton Sedivec, fourth place in 1-meter dive, sophomore Reed Bergman, fifth place in the 100-meter backstroke, and sophomore Luke Peterson, eighth place in the 100-meter breast stroke.
Girls Hockey
The Girls Hockey team finished the season 10-13 overall and 9-9 in conference play.
Spring Sports Roundup

The Girls Softball team’s season will mark the first year of varsity competition for the girls fastpitch softball. The head coach will be social studies teacher Ryne Jungling who previously coached the junior varsity team last year, and is coach of one of Mandan’s legion baseball teams.
Boys’ Track and Field
The Mandan Boys’ Track and Field program is looking the strongest its looked in recent years. The boys will return seven seniors three of which qualified for state last year. The boys will look to improve from the last place finishes they suffered at the state meet the last two years. The team will bring aroud sixty boys to the track this season, which is up from recent years.
Girls Track and Field
The Girls Track and Field team is also looking for a top spot this year. Althought the team may struggle with the loss of such runners as Chelsea Peterson, who took home two second place and seventh place medals from state last year, the most for the team at the time. the girls will return four seniors three of who qualified for the state meet last season. The girls will look for points out of long time place winner Kaytlyn Bowers

Boys’ Golf
The Boys Golf Team looks to improve from the 11th place finish at state last year and with 3 returning seniors they will have to pull a large number of students from the other three classes in order to imporve from last year.
Girls Tennis
The Girls Tennis team is looking to advance from their last place position at WDA. Returning senior Cadie Cordova is one of the team’s hope to get back to the teams former glory.
Girls Soccer
