Geometric Portraits
In this assignment we were required to create a portrait of a philanthropic figure using geometric shapes. This project took well over a week to complete and is the project I am most proud of. All the detail added into this portrait, including the specific shapes, was a concious decision and ultimately made this portrait come together as a whole. After finishing this project, I learned how to truly embrace a sort of freedom in my designs. By this, I'm reffering to the shapes and how I was able to create my own version of the portrait to create a very unique style.

Geometric Portraits
Similar to the previous assignment, I created another portrait, for this one I chose a random subject and created a more abstract, darker toned version. I wanted to add color to this portrait as my previous one was black and white, so this was my way of experimenting. Since I was able to complete two of the same projects, I was given free range with this one as their were no guidelines or requirments that I had to follow. This mostly ment that I could choose a subject of my choice rather than being limited to only philanthropic figures. Since I was restrcited, I was able to choose a more exotic subject and I think I effectivly captured that essense in this portrait.

FIDM Movie Poster In this assignment, we were given a series of photos from a fashion show and we were required to transform them into a movie poster of some kind. It could be of any genre, but we were required to utilize at least one of the photographs. Using photoshop, I was able to create a horror film poster. This project was ment to be very quick and I'm rather proud of my ability to create this poster in such a small amount of time. With this porject came a better understanding of the true capability of the resources I was presented with. Before completing this project I was blind to the amount of creativity that could be achieved with the Adobe CC programs. I hadn't realized that with the power of my creative capability and the ability of photoshop I could transform one thing to its polar opposite.

04 sample project Poster Redesign This project is actually part of a redesign I did. My first poster wasn't fluid and lacked lots of the basic design principles , but as you can see in my redesign, there is a sense of belonging with all the elements. The illustration is original as it was created in Adobe illustrator using the pen tool. This is one of the most time consuming of my projects due to the amount of personal input put into the design. There were also several requirments for the project including, a large central graphic, specific information to include on the poster, a specific color scheme and a use of white space. I feel that I effectively embodied the culture of Roller Derby in my illustration as well. From it I definitely leanred how to work in a rahter constrictive set of rules and effectively portray a specific set of information to my audiences

CSSSA Application This was a freeland project that I created this year for my application for CSSSA (California State Summer School for the Arts). This was an accepted film application and because of this I'm very proud of this piece. I think that I effectively expressed my love for film in this short. I wanted to create an other wordly feel when I created this film, I wanted it to feel nearly post apocolyptic. The film is about a young woman who travels across a barren landscape to visit the grave of a friend. I wrote, directed and filmed the entirety of the film, so between me and my actress we were able to create a wonderfully emotional film.

Persuasion Project This was a project assigned by my Video Productions teacher where we had to create a film to that persuaded people to do something. We were presented with an oppurtunity to choose whatever we wanted for this assignment and I chose baking. My goal with this film was to present people with the process of baking rather than just the end result. I wanted people to understand the inner workings. I used cinematic visuals to achieve this goal and I'm very happy with the end result.
