CHLOE’S MAKEUP TIPS AND SKIN CARE ROUTINES

BY CHLOE BOYD

Make-up and skin care for students should not be complicated.

Here is my 10 - 15 minute morning routine for skincare: first, cleanse your face with any cleanser of your choice. Good choices are Cetaphil, Youth to the People, and Cerave. Then start with some face lotion. You could use, Glossier, Tatcha, Clinique, and Tulla. Apply any serum of your choice; some options are, Glow Recipe, Drunk Elephant, Ordinary and Glossier. Then apply a good foundation or bronzer powder.

You can get good foundation and bronzers at Sephora and Ulta. To begin, put on mascara. Good mascaras are Making Waves, Dior, ilia, Rare Beauty, and Florence by Mills.

Lastly, put any blush/liquid blush on your face. It looks best on your nose and cheekbones.

When at school, after PE or when I sweat, I find my makeup drips off so I use the following routine. After PE, I go in the restroom and wash my face off with cold water and a paper towel. Then I apply powder foundation.

Put on any shade of lip gloss/lipstick. You can choose the shade of pink that suits you. Depending on what you put on in the morning you should put on the same thing you had on before. This at-school routine does not just have to be after pe you can do it during break or any time after your classes.
