LEMUEL BEAUCHAMP LIEUTENANT COMMANDER United States Coast Guard
Lieutenant Commander Lemuel Beauchamp is an active-duty member in the US Coast Guard. He was born in Puerto Rico and was selected into a minority program called College Student Pre-Commission Initiative in 2004. The program sends the candidate to Boot Camp and to Officer Candidate School after College Graduation. He has served at Sector Miami as a Cruise Ship Inspector, at the Civil Engineer Unit and at the Opa-Locka Air Station as the Base Engineer, Coast Guard Headquarters and now back at the Civil Eng. unit as the Construction Manager for South Florida. He has served as a mentor for high school students, was active as a member for habitat for humanity and volunteers for the Wounded Warrior Project. While in DC he was part of several Diversity Programs in the Federal Agencies and serves as a great role model for younger generations in Puerto Rico and the US.
