This is where it all began. My first time on a2 plane and my first going out of the United States Of America. It felt so great because I can’t believe I made it this far and I was very proud of myself. I get to tell my future kids my first flight was to Italy. I was nervous at first when the plane began to move and then up up up away I went and my stomach was left in the ground.My hotel was beautiful and I was glad the wifi was pretty decent which that changed later down the road. I had meet 3 cool girls at the airport which was also doing the same program as me named Addy, Ella, and Taylor. There was a fourth girl but she was real quiet her name was Diane but we became real close as the trip went on. The money which is Euros in Italy was pretty cool I like the colors I just didn’t like that when you exchange your money over 2 you don’t get the same amount gave The church was pretty interesting look like it need to be more people in it .

This was when I finally got settle in and meet my roommate which was a really cool person. That day I explore the town and got to see what Rome was like. This is the day we had our first group dinner and The cheap pasta was really salty but good at the same time with Veil and fried potatoes. For dessert their was lemon ice cream top on fruit. This is when my Italian drama began as well unfortunately. I had a waitress that seem annoyed to wait on me as well as had another waitress snatch my fork out of my hand. I really understand why their was no hospitality for their customer but one of the mentors said they don’t receive tips and don’t believe in hospitality I was like Wow. My mentor name Lauren from FUA she was the sweetest person I meet and she was also from Hollywood Florida. She decided to take me and some of my friends to see the Colosseum at night because we started our first tour there the the next day. It was so beautiful to see theses accent places at night. I meet new people this night as well.

We visit Piazza Venezia, Capitoline Hill, Imperial Forums, The Beautiful Colosseum and the Roman Forum. This day was full of tour I never thought I could walk this much in my life lol and my feet felt like they was gone fall off but it was defiantly fun exploring these places. I got props from some people in my program that I could be a great photographer Only if they knew I taught Digital Media for 2 years . Our tour guide was the best she 4 was from Rome and I loved her accent.

This is when I went to Saint Peters Square. Now I’m a Christian but it was definitely interested learning about catholic religion and I was waiting in line with my program for 4 whole hours before we got in. They had a holy water fountain which was pretty interesting I got my bottle and took a sip was hoping God wasn’t gone make me croak but we also went underground to see 5 the Popes tombstone.I'm like oh no it’s popes that been down here for century’s I just didn’t want no thriller thing happening with the popes.I was like whaaaaa (Minon Voice) But it was pretty good day.

Man the art in the Caprarola Palazzo Farnese was life taking. I love every room because it told a beautiful story and it connected to me emotionally and spiritually. I was really going through this day so I took the tour by myself to ease my mind and once I came to the end it was this beautiful cave. But then the Mosquitos starting to demolish me I had to go. The Mosquitos here are to bold and try to suck all your blood their called tiger Mosquitos as well which make me think ima turn into one. I felt so royal because I think of my successful plan I have a ahead of me and just thank God for every step he takes me. 6

I never knew that the holiday "Carnival" originated in Italy. I thought it was a island thing but hey the island got it from Europe. These are some of the things they are using in the parade which is coming up August 12-14 that’s the time around my birthday which I kinda wish I would be here but my Birthday 22nd Chapter will be in Miami this Year. I got to enjoy Italy beautiful beach but I didn’t get in the water. I love how they put Barack Obama In a fur coat with some basketball shorts and Jordan’s funniest thing ever.

I was at the highest mountain that I thought the bus was going to fall off the Clift and then once we got to the top we went under the mountain. Sang the lion sleep tonight through the dark tunnel with my new aboard friends it was so funny, the driver said we have to do that more often. Then we went to a marble place where they sculpted Niaomi Campbell which the was really awesome and she was naked.

Man today was a interested day I had my photoshoot which was semi stressful and we went on a field trip to Salvatore Ferragamo Which was amazing seen a shoe that got fitted by Marlyn Monroe and I love her. After the long day wine therapy was definitely needed.

I went to the Pitta Immagine UOMO I got to see some of the best SS 16 collections of Mens Ready To Wear and also will soon be working with a couple of vendors for my fundraiser for Autism that I’m doing with my intern QEB I have in The US in Atlanta Sept. 5 so be on the look out for that. Your Stylist is making her connections I love it. 10

La Rinascente has abstract mannequins which just represents the ultimate style and design as well as making the overall effect of the outfit. There were 2 mannequins per window. The inside of the store had full body headless mannequins. The store remind me of a store we have back in U.S. called Bloomingdales because it has several high fashion brands in the store. It had 5 levels to the store so it would be consider a department store. Also they had awnings to make the outside of their store to make it stand out. The store has a corner window which draws people attention to their view from the whole block. 11

Had a school field trip to Lucca today was fun and got to have my first cappuccino which was amazingamd i also had to add a sugar though.Went Had prayer with God today.He is so good and I am grateful.

In our Visual Merchandise class today we visit the school boutique store called FLY (Fashion Loves You) and I got to meet the manager which was great I loved her accent and our assignment was that me and my team had to organize the store and make our own visual. It came out pretty great the professor and the manager loved it they didn’t even want to take it down for the next group.

This is my photoshoot i did for my portfolio because I am a wardrobe stylist. The them for this photoshoot was "Who Run The World:GIRLS." This was a really stuff day for me because i was suppose to have 7 models but you only see three showed up. I made the best of it and styled these beautiful models.

I finally got to painted my pictures to give them that full effect they look pretty good. My professor said i did a good job. I was proud of myself.

Got to explore Florence and see the whole city from the Piazza del Duomo it was the most beautiful thing I’ve saw. I carved my name so Italy could never forget me.

Today was a national holiday for Italy. I went to the fireworks and enjoyed the last moments with my roommates and got to see this unique human art piece to celebrate the holiday. Plus I finally got to try this restaurant called Red Gartor It was so good 0.40â‚Ź for wings Wednesday and Thursday Got to watch the sunset for the first time in Florence it was really beautiful and glad I got to catch the moment. 17

Finally have arrived in Florence. It was so beautiful I expected the food to be better here which it was in a way but at least my breakfast was good that morning. Had to get adjusted to all of this walking we had to do because they did not provide us transportation at all. 18

First Day of class was pretty decent got to meet my professor and see my class room environments that match for both subject. My first Visual Merchandise assignment was to go visit a store name Lesilla which was amazing unique. Had to explain how the store was set up and how did it catch the consumers attention. Seen my first chocolate wall at a place called Venchi which look rich and tasty. One of my roommates made dinner this night which was good.

Today is my last day I walk the streets of Florence and enjoy my memorable moments with my roommates while we take the last stroll. We are all going to be some very successful women in this world and this was just a great value to add to our experience. FUA is was great and the professors were funny, amazing, challenging, wise and knowledgable and I enjoyed every class session. I leave Today to head to Rome and then London and the Miami. Now it’s time to start the next part of my success when I get back to the USA. Ciao Italy.
