The future passive and middle are NOT the same. The future stem is obtained by adding a σ to the verb stem.

The future passive is built on an entirely different stem from the future middle and should not be confused with it. λυσοµαι means I shall loose myself but it does not mean I shall be loosed. That means that, unlike the present and the imperfect tenses, the future passive and middle are NOT the same.

The kind of action may be either linear or punctiliar. The context will usually indicate which is intended. Usually it is punctiliar.

C. The Future Indicative of ειµι is: εσοµαι V-FXI-1S I will be εσοµεθα εση V-FXI-2S you will be εσεσθε εσται V-FXI-3S he/she/it will be εσονται
