music One of the biggest influences to my work is incorporating my favourite bands and musicians. Here is a small sample of some of the work I have created recently inspired by my eclectic taste in music. Generally I like to take a key lyric and infuse it into my own unique style of illustration. • Comeback Kid, Wake The Dead. • The Amity Affliction. • Thursday, The Lovesong Writer. • Architects, Broken Cross. • Stick To Your Guns, Such Pain. • The Matches, Little Maggots.

Fist2face apparel Growing up in the music scene, I was so excited when Fist2face approached me to design the branding for their reboot. I was tasked with redesigning their old logo in a modern style with the incorporation of traditional tattoo flash. Along side this I also designed standalone artworks for their apparel range.

Decks For Change In 2016 I entered a design competition named “Decks For Change”. The brief was simple, to design a skate deck that incorporated a social issue that you felt needed more coverage. My Design titled “Still Not Asking For It”, incorporated the premise of how women are victim blamed for being harassed or attacked because of how they were dressed. Judged by a panel of industry experts including Gemma O’Brien, I was one of the winners and had my deck exhibited in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Tasmania, before being auctioned off to support the charity Skateistan.
Thank you for taking the time to check out my work. If you would like to check out any more of my work, please head to my instagram @michaelbaztrovato or www.michaeltrovato.com Thanks!
