ZYLSTRA, SIA (SIERTJE) 7/3/1936 - 2/8/2017 Ionia It is with great sadness and joy we remember Sia (Siertje) Zylstra, who went to be with her Lord and Saviour the evening of February 8, 2016. Thankfully, she was surrounded by her family. Sia loved Jesus and made sure everyone she met knew they could be loved by Him too. Sia was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, the youngest of nine children. Her sister, Wilhelmina (Willie) Willems and several nieces and nephews in the Netherlands will miss her. She is loved by her husband of 51 years, Dirk, and children Sonia Noorman (Mike), Lisa Zylstra-Jacoby (Andrew), and Edo Zylstra (Christi). She adored her nine grandchildren Hannah Noorman (Schaddebadatje), Kate Noorman (Snoekepoek), Luke and Megan Dimmer (Liefke), Haley Jacoby (Lachabekje), Eli Jacoby (Knuffeltje), Aeden Jacoby (Poekie Doe), Ellen Zylstra (Roeske Boeske), Jonas Zylstra (Mien Jonkje), and Noah Zylstra (Schattebol). Visitation with the family is on Tuesday, February 14 at 6:00-9:00pm at Third Reformed Church 2060 Michigan St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. In lieu of flowers or donations, please love someone and pay it forward. If you knew Sia and have a memory you would like to share, please post it on her Memorial page on Facebook.

CAMPBELL, BERNARD DELANO 2/13/1932 - 6/25/2016
You loved your birthday, February 13th, and it would have been your 85th. You missed attaining it by 7 1/2 months. Of all the husbands, dads and grandpas, there were so few like you. You always put your family first. Your funny stories, your broad smile & sparkling eyes, and the wisdom that you shared, are just a few amazing things that made you truly rare. The tolerance, perseverance and dignity you showed in the last months were a lesson to all. Your love made all the difference and it is why our family is blessed. The moments that we spent with you were times when life was best. Happy Birthday! Your Loving Family

NABER, WARREN 10/10/1943 - 2/9/2012
Funeral arrangements don’t have to be made on the day a person dies. KOSTERS, LEROY 4/16/1932 - 2/15/2016
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. There will always be a heart ache and often a silent tear, but always a precious memory of the days when you were here. Missing you every day, Your Loving Wife Shirley and Family
We do believe in the value of prearrangements. There are several benefits to this as it takes the pressure off your family, allows you to express your wishes, it is practical and it protects you from inflation. 100% of any money that is prepaid must be placed in a trust account or an insurance policy designed for funeral expenses. We offer you this opportunity to complete your arrangements at the time you are ready without any unwanted pressure.
