MATERIAL CLIP
We have the largest and most illustrious Pro Staff in the world to consult about our products. Based upon their input we have decided to change our material clip. Starting in 2014 there will be no fixed material clip on our VISES. We will offer a new simple spring and O-ring clip for purchase. REGAL will also offer our the old style fixed material clip as a special order. 4
Here at REGAL VISE we work everyday to make the Worlds Best Fly Tying Vises and Accessories. Even thought our Travel Vise is a huge hit, we found a way to make it better! We have changed the gooseneck stem design by moving the bend lower toward the base. This allows for any of our Heads to rotate 360 degrees with out contacting the stem. This makes it much easier to look at the other side of your flies. The new stem also changes the center of gravity providing an even more rock solid tying platform.

The REGAL ROYAL CLAMP was engineered with a three point anchor system to grab a table with the same ferocious grip our VISES put on a hook. We have added additional horizontal surface area and surface guards to the vise for a rock solid hold that is safe on most surfaces. CORRECT HOOK PLACEMENT
Placing the hook within the head of a Regal Vise is very important. Due to the pressure the vise head exerts, the hook must be placed well within the limits of the head surfaces. See figures 1, 2 and 3 for proper hook placement. Failure to properly place the hooks may result in “chipping” of the head or the hook may dislodge from the vise under pressure. See figures 4, 5, and 6 which depict improper hook placement. CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF YOUR VISE
All Regal vises and accessories are manufactured to last a lifetime. As with all precision equipment, the tool simply needs some routine tender loving care. Regal suggests a drop or two of gun oil every so often rubbed into the surface of the head and stem not unlike you would do to a prized firearm. This simple task will bring out the true color and luster of the vise and help preserve it. CONVERTING YOUR VISE LEFT-HANDED
All Regal vises are shipped as right-handed. Making the vise left-handed is a very simple procedure and only takes a few minutes. On the under side of the vise you will see a hex nut in the ball that holds the jaw handles in place. Simply loosen the nut with a 7/64’’ hex wrench and swing the jaw handle to the other side. defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the original registered owner. This warranty does not cover damage caused by: 1. Improperly placing hooks into head. Improper hook placement will invalidate your warranty and may cause damage to the vise head. Your REGAL VISE is designed in a specific manner to hold hooks securely while tying. Care must be taken when both placing a hook into the head and taking a hook out of the head. When a hook is properly placed and secured you will find tying easier and safer. Improper hook placement may also cause sudden release of the hook from the head under tension. Always wear eye protection when using a fly tying vise. Please read and review Proper Hook Placement information that is on the warranty card and/or the web site. 2. Failure to use according to instructions; 3. Use for any purpose other than fly tying: 4. Abuse, whether or not deliberate; 5. Attempts to dismantle, repair, or modify the vise by anyone other than an Authorized REGAL ENGINEERING warranty service person.
