M elbourne dentist Ross Bastiaan is consumed with plaques. His interest in Australian military his tory has led to a driving passion – mak ing a series of multilingual, bronze plaques which have been placed on battlefields all a round the world. ‘You could say that I am in the business of removing plaque and making plaques. I work with my hands, and I have just trans lated my skills into diff erent mediums,’ he says.
