Spring Awakening Portraits for a casting announcement on the much-anticipated UK revival of Broadway rock musical Spring Awakening, featuring a young cast and many debutants. Taken in rehearsals on a tight timeframe, client DEM Production was keen to foreground youthful zest , echo the production aesthetic and complement their existing poster campaign.

P e r s o n a l Wo r k : T h e At t i tu d e s An ongoing project supporting charity Acting for Others, featuring a broad span of contemporary stage & screen performers in an examination & celebration of the art of acting, taking inspiration from Edmund Shaftesbury’s 1889 book Lessons in Acting. A work-in-progress showing was exhibited at The Globe for six weeks in mid 2017.

C o l d Wa te r S w i m m e r s of B ro c k w e l l L i d o A personal project documenting winter swimmers at Brockwell Lido in South London. Combining my love of cold water swimming with location-lighting & editorial portrait skills, I took poolside, flash-lit ‘Before’ shots and naturally-lit ‘After’ shots in the pool, to reveal the fear, anticipation, pain & pleasure of the pastime. Featured in Outdoor Swimmer magazine, March 2018.
