CIG Communities (formerly Capital Investment Group) is a full-service, family-owned real estate company founded in 1984. We specialize in acquiring, developing and managing residential and commercial properties to create value and cash flow for our stakeholders, our customers, and our partners. You will find our communities across the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. We own or manage more than 1,200 multifamily homes and approximately 40,000 square feet of neighborhood shopping centers.

Lloyd Cobble is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Property Management for CIG Communities and leads the company in growing the management portfolio to complement the growing portfolio of properties developed by CIG. Lloyd began his real estate career at Eagle Realty Group, a subsidiary of Western & Southern Financial Group, where he held several positions over a 16-year period, beginning in the accounting department and ascending to the role of Director of Operations for multi-family property management, where he had responsibility for overseeing a portfolio consisting of 40+ communities with over 7,000 units covering a five-state area. Prior to joining CIG Communities, Lloyd served as Vice President of Property Management for Oberer Management Services, a family owned, full service real estate company in Dayton, Ohio. There, he was responsible for the operations of the property management division, including both apartments and homeowner/condominium associations. With more than 20 years in the property management business, Lloyd has a wide range of experience with many property types, and brings to CIG strength in financial analysis, budgeting, operations, and team building.

Ellen Crabtree brings demonstrated experience and success to CIG Communities in her role as Regional Director of Property Management. Her expertise in budgeting, team development, customer service, leaseups, asset repositioning, and strategic planning allows her to provide a well-rounded perspective to our property owners and act as a mentor to our on-site teams. She has held senior level management positions for both local and nationwide management companies and takes pride in taking an individual approach to each management assignment, utilizing her skills and experience to bring the highest and best value to each owner. In addition to being a strong sales professional, Ellen holds certifications from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and the National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI) earning her CPM, CAM, and CAPS designations. Ellen oversees all portfolio operations for Ohio and Kentucky to include all communities in the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Apartment Association owned and managed by CIG Communities.
