How To Get Involved In Gcnkaa

Business Exchange Committee

This committee plans the annual Business Exchange - generaly held in August. Involves planning and securing participants for annual business exchange and marketing/promotional materials for the event.

Education Committee

This committee is responsible for planning and implementing the certification programs and seminars provided throughout the year.

Golf Outing Committee

This committee plans the annual golf outings - one in June and one in September. Involves securing sponsors, creating promotional pieces and ideas and overall general input regarding the golf outing.

Holiday Cheers Committee

This committee is responsible for soliciting donations, planning and implementing the annual Holiday Cheers Party and Benefit. Net proceeds of this event directly benefit the Apartment Association Outreach.

Legislative Committee

This committee works with the state associations and the local city councils to keep abreast of issues related to our industry. It is responsible for hosting forums and events to keep our members informed.

Membership Committee

This committee is responsible for membership recruitment and retention. They hold a New Member Drive and also sponsor the new member orientation programs

Social Media Committee

This committee is responsible for planning and creating social media posts across all platforms of social media including Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest.

Prestige Awards Committee

This committee is responsible for planning and implementing the annual trade show.
