MICHELLE DERSDEPANIAN DIGITAL ARTIST

Iâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;m a Mexican digital artist specialized in traditional and digital illustration and photography. I find inspiration in everything around me and in the way it affects me. I follow this process for all my projects, which generally became selfportraits. My tecnique changes constantly because I think art shouldnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t be physically limited but make me free.

DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION

My digital illustrations start as pencil or ink sketches that get digitalized into vectors or bitmaps. Theyâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;re usually flat images, nevertheless I like to use textures, highlights and shadows in order to emphasize some particular features. 4

TRADITIONAL ILLUSTRATION

This kind of illustration is a fundamental part of my work. Itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s a daily activity and relax exercise which ocasionally turns into a concept that could be deeply developed. It starts as rough pencil sketches on paper that get inked later. Sometimes, I color them or use collage. 14
