SANDEE SAYS: SOOOOO…I was scrolling through a popular DIY website looking for some ideas on how to help and advice a client to “dress up” her wall mounted flat screen TV so it looked a little more designer rather than just a TV hanging on the wall…OMG when I saw these I just knew I had to share them with you…I may even implement one of these ideas for myself… 1. Choose a door trim, baseboard, chair rail or crown molding that best fits you décor. 2. Measure your TV at the OUTER edge corners. 3. Remember those measurements will be the INSIDE measurements of the finished frame. 4. Cut the trim down to the desired lengths using a miter saw at 45 degree angles. 5. DISCLAIMER: the fancier and more ornate the trim the harder to get it to match up. 6. Attach the pieces for the frame together on the back in the corners using wide staples and wood glue. 7. Depending on how ‘flat’ your TV is, you can either hang the frame with wire on a hook, or even use the 3M command strips to stick the frame to the wall. 8. Happy FRAMING!!
