A Personal Note I have worked hard for my art style to be as unique as possible and I had the opportunity to start at a young age. I was really fascinated by the Japanese anime style, mostly because I found it to be more visually appealing compared to the American cartoon style. I kept drawing like this throughout my life and I experimented by changing my style consistently within each year. I am still very proficient at changing my style, and to this day I draw my inspiration from individually unique artists, such as Perry Maple, Sarah Stone, and Finni Chang. The work I create depicts the creative use of original characters and settings. All of my work is made with the intention to be family friendly, while also conveying a deeper meaning to older audiences. My favorite themes to utilize are outer space, plants, robotics, folklore, surrealism, and the childlike imagination. I take advantage over every possible outcome of each piece I make. Every element that could possibly be used in the final product is filtered through many different conceptual approaches, while only the best are chosen in the end. I make sure to keep my work colorful for the final stage of digital paintwork. This method I have created guarantees the perfection of a final product. All of the artwork I create is meant to convey a story or initial idea to the targeted audience. If the piece is unsuccessful then it will be recreated to meet its goal. `Michelle 18
