LODI TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES REGULAR MEETING SYNOPSIS NOVEMBER 9, 2010 The meeting opened with the flag pledge. Roll Call all board members present, and 4 citizens. The Consent Agenda was approved, which included the October Minutes, Treasurer’s report, payment of bills, amendment of budget, receipt of October Planning Commission minutes, and the zoning report. Written report received from the sheriff, and verbal report from the Planning Commission. Public Comment was offered at 7:42 p.m. The agenda was approved as amended. Old Business - none. New Business included: Approval of a window washing bid, Set prices of columbarium niches (single $400, Double $600.00), Approval to renew notary public for Clerk, Receipt and acceptance of SAFD audit, and approval for Lodi Township medical marijuana ordinance to comply with Federal Law. A thank note was received regarding the cemetery. Public comment was offered at 8:15 pm. The meeting adjourned. SALINE CITY COUNCIL NOVEMBER 1, 2010 REGULAR MEETING SYNOPSIS The Regular meeting of the Saline City Council was called to order at 7:34 p.m. by Mayor Driskell at Saline City Hall. All Councilmembers were present. Seven Staff members and twenty-five citizens were present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. By Unanimous Vote of Council, the Regular Agenda was approved as amended. There was one citizen comment on agenda items #10-24. The following Consent Agenda items were approved by unanimous vote of Council: Council minutes and Synopsis of their October 18, 2010 regular meeting; the payment of 103 payees in the amount of $345,739.54; reappointment of Leslie Parsels to the Saline District Library Board for another two-year term; Proclamation of November 2010 as National Family Caregivers Month. Unfinished Business: Representatives from Plante & Moran presented the audit report for fiscal year ended 6/30/10. Communications and the finance report were received by Council. By Unanimous vote of Council, the Street Dedication Agreement with Huntington Woods Homeowners Association was approved. New Business: By Unanimous vote of Council, the following items were approved: Winter Break Student Membership rates for students between ages of 18-22 years for the period of December 12, 2010 – January 8, 2011; Holiday Parade and Street Closings for December 4, 2010; memo received from City Manager Campbell regarding IBM Agreement for Municipal Shared Services Cloud Project. By Unanimous vote of Council, with Councilmember Law voting “No”, the application for an arts minigrant in the amount of $3,800 for public art seating in the downtown was approved. There were eleven Discussion/ Announcement items. By Unanimous Roll Call Vote of Council, Council convened into Closed Session at 9:28 p.m. to discuss pending litigation. Council reconvened into Regular Session at 10:08 p.m. Attorney Grossman gave a brief update on the Village Marketplace + Lofts which is proceeding to Court on 11/5/10 for default judgment. There were no public comments.
