welcome I believe that new babies are one of the greatest joys in life and should be celebrated. As new parents, you will want to remember their sleepy eyes, squishy cheeks, and delicate skin. Custom newborn photography can help you to cherish these precious memories for a lifetime. As a mom of two beautiful and quickly growing girls, I know the importance of investing in newborn portraiture. We buy lots of cute outfits and toys for our babies that they outgrow in weeks or sometimes days. Beautiful images of your baby, however, will only become more valuable as time passes. You will cherish those captured moments long after those tiny onesies are tucked away in the attic. After your session, I will help you design products to remember these fleeting newborn moments-a wall display for the nursery of your new baby cradled in your arms, a keepsake album of all herr tiny expresssions, and beautiful custom birth announcements that will proudly hang in the homes of your friends and family. Each product is selected for its quality and beauty because I know how important it is for these images to last for generations. These are your new family heirlooms. 3
sessions Timing Sleepy newborns make for beautiful photographs and your baby will be sleepiest 3-10 days after birth. Most parents call to schedule their session the day they bring baby home. Your newborn will set the pace of our session. I plan several hours to allow plenty of time for feeding and making sure your baby is comfy. Location I have a natural light studio in my home that I love to use for newborn sessions. In addition to the beautiful light, we’ll have access to all of my props and backgrounds to create a variety unique looks for your session. Some new parents find it easiest to have me come to their home for a newborn session. If you prefer to use your home, I’ll look for the room that gets the best natural light. Just Relax Babies are calmest and happiest when their parents are calm and happy. Don’t stress out about having the house perfectly clean or if your baby will cry or make a mess. I will work to hard to keep your baby safe and happy during the session. Just relax and enjoy your adorable new baby. 4
