Rod has proven himself as a great ranch dog as well as sire. He has won several Open trials including The Jordan Valley Ranch Rodeo which is extremely challenging due to the tough desert Cattle. He is also showing promise as a producer of Quick responding, fast on the approach, of heading cattle and very athletic dogs. Rod is a strong head dog with a hard face bite. Rod is out of Sue by Cash one of the best cattle dog crosses.

I got Poncho at five weeks from Shawn Schacht. As a puppy, he worked goats and now as a young dog he helps me gather cattle. He is very willing and tries to please. He has a lot of power to the head. He rides on a 4-wheeler, as wll as in your pick-up. Poncho has a nice start and should be a good partner for someone.
