5 IMPORTANT SMALL BUSINESS ACCOUNTING TIPS

Are you on top of your business accounts?

When you’re running a small business, you must stay focused on the books. If you’re not managing debt and expenses, you could sink the business rather than grow it. But when you’re not an accountant, you might find the prospect of accounting daunting. Don’t worry, help is on the way! Keep reading to learn five small business accounting tips to get you started.

1. Decide on a Bookkeeper or Accounting Software

It might be tempting to cut costs and be the head of marketing, sales, and accounting yourself. But, it might be better to hire a bookkeeper or other types of accountants. Accounting services help keep your books in shape and avoid costly errors.

It’s useful to have someone with a deeper understanding for some accounting help. You could hire a freelancer or someone on a part-time basis to start. But keep in mind this might not be enough as your business grows.

Another option is to make use of finance and accounting software. You can either familiarize yourself with the software, or a hired bookkeeper could put it to good use.

2. Keep Accounts Receivable Separated from Borrowed Funds

The importance of accounting starts with keeping your funds separate. Most small business owners need loans or backing of some kind when starting up, but you don’t want those loans showing up in your receivables. Accounting software helps to separate your income from your borrowed funds. This way, you know what’s yours and what you need to pay back.

3. Don’t Let Clients Skip Out of Settling Balances

If you see a large amount in receivables that’s a good thing, but that money isn’t yours until it’s in the bank. Don’t let clients get away with not making their balance payments on time.

Stick to your guns and insist that you need the payment for past orders before you’ll accept another one. Getting the money you’re owed is vital for staying afloat and not folding the business.

Because of this, you should consider improving your invoice and using invoicing and billing software. You can track payments and know who to chase and when to chase them.

4. Record Daily Expenses and Make a Budget

It’s a good tip for small business owners to keep records of their daily business expenses. Don’t work on a two-week schedule for the sake of payroll, break it down by day and then week.

This will help you get an idea of where your money goes and what your priorities are. You’ll also get a better idea of how much you need to function, which helps you create a budget going forward.

5. Work Out a Basic Monthly Profit

The numbers get complicated quickly when working out how much you need to keep a small business running. With tip four, you’ll find out your running costs. This will then tell you what you need to make each month to cover all your costs.

Income is the easiest part to work out, so set a strict target that you need to earn. Without being specific and meticulous, your numbers will spiral and become a mess. If you don’t get on top of that, your business could suffer and you might end up in deep trouble.

Small Business Accounting Tips Made Easy

The first few years are crucial for small businesses. You stand a better chance of success with good accounting so set yourself up right. Accounting software is a must, and it’s also worth hiring a bookkeeper. Be detailed, keep track of everything, and set yourself a budget goal.

HOW TO CHOOSE A BANK FOR YOUR MONEY: A SIMPLE GUIDE

Having a bank is essential, so here are some tips to help you know exactly how to choose a bank for all your banking needs.

How to Choose a Bank: Make Sure It’s Safe

An important step in choosing a bank is making sure you pick one that is safe. If a bank is FDIC insured, it means your money is safe.

You may find that banks that are not FDIC insured offer higher interest rates. If your top goal is to make money from your deposits, then this may be a better choice for you.

Determine the Type of Account You Need

Next, you’ll need to decide what type of account you want and need. The two main types are savings accounts and checking accounts. Banks typically offer both types, but you should compare the differences before choosing one.

One of the main differences is that you can write checks with a checking account but you cannot with a savings account. You can generally receive a debit card with either type of account.

Look for One with Helpful Technology

If you’re wondering what to look for in a bank, an important thing to consider is the technology the bank offers. Do they have online banking? Do they offer an app for your cell phone?

If you like to manage your money online or with your phone, the technology the bank offers is essential.

Make Sure It Offers Easy Access

You should also consider how easy or hard it is to access the bank. Many people choose online banks today.

If you choose an online bank, you may not have a physical branch near your area. Without a physical office nearby, the bank would need to offer easy access to the features they provide with their accounts.

An example of this is check deposit services over your phone. If there is no branch to visit, you would need an easy way to deposit a check.

Compare the Fees and Rates

Finally, compare the fees and rates before selecting a bank.

The fees represent charges you have with an account. Some banks charge monthly fees while others don’t. Some banks also charge fees if your balance drops below a certain amount.

The rates refer to the amount of interest you earn on your deposits. You should aim for a bank with low fees and high-interest rates.

4 CONSIDERATIONS FOR KITCHEN CABINETS

With so many aspects to consider, it’s easy to see why many people are exhausted by the mere thought of planning their remodel. If you’re hoping to start the project on the right foot, though, it’s often best to first choose highquality yet affordable kitchen cabinets, which are bound to influence the style of the rest of the room. To help you make a decision that meets – and exceeds – your requirements, our experts are here to share their top four considerations with you.

1. The Material

The look and durability of your cabinets is largely determined by its material. Although the standard choice of wood makes for aesthetically pleasing, sturdy, and affordable kitchen cabinets, innovative materials such as titanium and SoftStoneTM have increased in popularity. While titanium is light-weight, robust, and low-maintenance, SoftStoneTM is sound-reducing, has a leather look and feel, and perfectly cushions glasses and plates. In order to make a choice that you’ll be happy with for years to come, considering your priorities is key. For example, are aesthetics or functionality – or a balance – more important to you? When in doubt, you may want to weigh out the pros and cons together with an experienced kitchen designer.

2. Your Budget

Perhaps most importantly, don’t fall in love with cabinets before looking at the price tag. Setting a realistic budget is crucial for ensuring that your choice not only results in beautiful but also affordable kitchen cabinets. This consideration will help you narrow down the materials to options that are within your price range, as

well as giving your designer a clearer sense of your requirements.

3. The Storage

If your kitchen’s storage space is limited, consider how and whether your new cabinets could alleviate this issue. Instead of opting for traditional cabinets that open via front doors, fully extending pull-out drawers are often a viable alternative. This option not only allows you to use every inch of the drawer as storage space, but also enables you to view its entire contents in one, quick glance – and without bending down! Space maximized and time saved…what’s not to love?

4. The Style

As cabinets take up a significant portion of your kitchen, their style frequently dictates the space’s overarching style. While practicality, sturdiness, and budget should always factor into the equation, choosing a style that’s in line with your personal taste is equally important. Whether a modern or traditional style (or even a mix between the two) floats your boat, be sure to decide on a look that you like – regardless of whether it’s the latest design craze or not. If you’re unsure of what would best suit your space, looking through a few kitchen magazines or visiting a showroom is certain to inspire you.

By doing your homework and considering the tips above, choosing striking, durable, and affordable kitchen cabinets becomes as easy as 1, 2, 3. So, why not transform your new year’s resolution into action? Ready, set, remodel!

Millwork.

By combining quality products and service with a renewed sense of style and luxury we offer a diverse line of millwork. With hundreds of style options to choose from, and a premium, furniture-grade finish available, it is easy to find interior millwork to suit your upcoming project.

CONCRETE

CONCRETE RESTORATION

What do you notice whenever you look at your concrete driveways, foot paths or patios? A simple grey finish with the occasional stains or dirty spot? Wouldn’;t it be good to have a fresh, new looking surface? Even better yet, how would you like to see a brand-new looking floor without the need of having to actually clear away the previous slab and lay a brand new one? Concrete deep cleansing techniques and equipment can make a considerable difference in the way your footpath, or basement floor looks.

Concrete repair can really make your walkways and garage floors a lot more appealing to look at. It’s easier, more convenient and less expensive than replacing the entire slab. Pressure cleansing equipment can be utilized swiftly and efficiently to completely clean up and eliminate the stains from the concrete and make it appear brand new again. Then a basic concrete sealant could be used to set greater time between the subsequent desire to clean or restore it. A highquality concrete sealant will shield against water damage, and stop irritating oil stains from sinking in as they usually do with unprotected concrete.

The Basics of Concrete Restoration

One frequent issue people encounter regarding concrete is cracks. Cracks are generally induced by various different factors, and they often need repairing. As a cautionary note, prior to doing any kind of work with fixing cracked concrete, be sure to put on eye protection, in addition you’ll possibly want some kind of hand protection, too.

The initial step when repairing a large crack should be to get rid of the broken concrete using

a hammer and chisel. Carefully chip off all of the damaged concrete wherever it is crumbling and disintegrating to the depth of around about an inch or so. Once you have done this, you’ll need to undercut the edges from the section which needs fixing. It’s possible to do this by widening the base of the hole, but not the top, so that the inside walls are sloping inwards as they rise.

After doing the above actions, get rid of all of the debris and rubble from the surface which needs repairing and ensure that it stays moist. Permit water to soak into the gap overnight, or sprinkle some in by hand every couple of hours for around 24 hrs.

A product is required for the next phase. Mix some cement powder with water till it turns into a paste or a gel. Normally, it is three parts cement to one part water. Set this aside. Blend a bit of extra cement, but make it just a little thinner this time to coat the inside edges or the walls of the crack. This phase needs to be performed as fast as you are able to while still executing it proficiently. The cement needs to be used before it dries.

Filling up the hole is the last step. Take the thick cement paste you mixed earlier and use it to fill the hole. Let it harden for a couple of hours after the task is completed. Following that, cover it using plastic sheeting and sprinkle it with water several times each day for seven days. This is referred to as curing the cement.

Selecting the right home renovation contractor is crucial for transforming your living space without unnecessary stress or overspending. A skilled contractor can turn your home improvement and renovation ideas into reality, whereas the wrong choice could lead to delays, subpar work, and inflated costs.

Whether you’re considering a kitchen upgrade or a full home makeover, understanding how to evaluate potential contractors will help you achieve a successful renovation. From defining your renovation goals to understanding payment terms, each step is designed to ensure you partner with a reliable professional.

Step 1: Define Your Renovation Goals

Being clear about your renovation goals is crucial for a successful home renovation. Knowing exactly what you want to achieve allows you to communicate your vision effectively to potential contractors.

Step 2: Gather Estimates from Multiple Contractors

Multiple estimates are essential for making an informed decision and avoiding overpaying for services. Aim to get at least three quotes from different contractors. This approach allows you to compare costs, timelines, and the quality of materials used in each proposal.

Step 3: Check Credentials and References

Verifying a contractor’s credentials is crucial in avoiding potential liabilities or scams. Licensed contractors have met specific industry standards, ensuring their competency and adherence to regulations. Insured contractors protect you from financial responsibility in case of accidents or damage during the renovation process. Always ask for proof of these credentials before moving forward.

Step 4: Assess Communication Skills and Compatibility

Step 6: Understand Payment Terms, Structures, and Contracts Thoroughly

By paying close attention to these contract details, you safeguard your interests throughout the renovation process.

Step 7: Identify Red Flags During Contractor Selection Process

When selecting a home renovation contractor, being vigilant about potential contractor red flags can save you from future headaches. Here are some warning signs to watch out for are pressure tactics to sign quickly, lack of references, poor communication, and uninsured or unlicensed contractors.

SPARKLE AND SHINE: EXPERT TIPS FOR EFFORTLESS HOUSEHOLD CLEANING

In the bustling symphony of daily life, our homes stand as sanctuaries of solace and comfort. Yet, amidst the chaos of schedules and responsibilities, the dust settles, the grime accumulates, and our haven loses its luster. Fear not, dear homeowners, for in the art of household cleaning lies the key to reclaiming the sparkle and shine of your abode. Join us on a journey through the realms of tidiness and order, as we unveil expert tips and tricks to transform your home into a haven of cleanliness and tranquility.

Declutter with Purpose

Before diving into the depths of cleaning, embark on a decluttering odyssey to liberate your space from the shackles of excess. Channel your inner minimalist and bid farewell to belongings that no longer serve a purpose or bring joy. Start small, tackling one room or category at a time, and be ruthless in your quest for simplicity. Donate, recycle, or repurpose items to breathe new life into your space while creating a serene environment conducive to efficient cleaning.

Develop a Cleaning Routine

Consistency is the cornerstone of effective cleaning, and a well-crafted cleaning routine is your roadmap to success. Designate specific tasks for each day or week, breaking down daunting chores into manageable bites. For example, Mondays could be dedicated to laundry, Tuesdays to dusting, and so forth. By spreading out your cleaning responsibilities, you’ll prevent overwhelm and maintain a perpetually tidy home with minimal effort.

Harness the Power of Natural Cleaners

In a world saturated with synthetic chemicals, nature’s bounty offers a safer, eco-friendly alternative for cleaning. Stock your arsenal with household staples like vinegar, baking soda, and lemon juice, whose antimicrobial properties combat germs and grime with ease. Create DIY

cleaning solutions by mixing these ingredients with water, essential oils, or castile soap for a fragrant and effective cleaning experience. Not only are natural cleaners gentle on the environment, but they also safeguard your family from exposure to harmful toxins.

Adopt Smart Cleaning Techniques

Efficiency is the name of the game when it comes to household cleaning, and mastering smart cleaning techniques can significantly streamline your workflow. Work from top to bottom, tackling high surfaces before moving downwards to catch falling dust and debris. Embrace the power of microfiber cloths and mop heads, whose electrostatic properties attract and trap dirt with unparalleled efficiency. Invest in versatile cleaning tools like steam cleaners or vacuum attachments to conquer stubborn stains and crevices with ease.

Show Some Love to Neglected Areas

In the pursuit of cleanliness, certain areas of our homes often fall victim to neglect, harboring hidden pockets of dirt and grime. Pay special attention to overlooked spaces such as baseboards, ceiling fans, and air vents, whose accumulation of dust can compromise indoor air quality. Schedule regular deep cleaning sessions to purge these neglected areas of buildup, ensuring your home remains pristine from top to bottom.

As you embark on your quest for household cleanliness, remember that the journey is just as rewarding as the destination. With these expert tips as your compass, may your home become a beacon of serenity and order, a reflection of the care and dedication you invest in its upkeep. Embrace the transformative power of cleanliness, and let your home shine bright as a testament to your commitment to comfort and well-being.

THE BEST COUNTERTOPS MATERIALS FOR YOUR KITCHEN

When it comes to choosing the right material for your kitchen countertops, the choice can be overwhelming. After all, you need to take into account a number of factors, such as budget, aesthetics, durability, and the appearance of the rest of your kitchen, as well as how much time you’re willing to put into the maintenance and upkeep of your kitchen countertops.

Marble

When it comes to aesthetic brilliance, you’re unlikely to beat marble, as the richly textured, usually white or light-colored rock, is decorated with stunning natural veins, which highlight the depth of the stone.

However, there is no beauty without pain and –likewise – marble is one of the more impractical materials you could choose to build your kitchen countertops. This is because marble is a naturally soft rock, and is, consequently, susceptible to scratches and chips – moreover, marble countertops need to be sealed annually – in order to protect against potential stains.

Having said this, if your kitchen isn’t particularly ‘high action’ and you don’t mind putting in a bit of extra effort to keep your countertops safe from stains and bacteria (by ensuring your countertops are sealed annually), marble might be the choice for you – especially if you highly value the aesthetic of your kitchen.

Granite

As another attractive natural rock countertop material, there is a huge variety of granite to choose from, coming in an array of textures and colors due to its unique mineral configuration. Namely, granite is typically made up of a combination of hornblende, quartz, mica, and feldspar, among other minerals, which account for the infinite styles available.

More than this, granite is a practical choice, being scratch and chip resistant, and less porous than

marble, meaning fewer seals required to keep the rock stain-free. On top of this, granite is also inexpensive compared to other natural rocks, such as marble and quartz.

Quartz

Natural quartz is the strongest component present in granite, meaning that – out of all the possible countertop choices – quartz is the most scratch, chip and damage resistant.

Moreover, many quartz countertop brands combine the natural quartz with a small percentage of synthetic material in order to combat the innate porousness of natural rock. This means that most quartz countertops don’t ever need to be sealed in order to retain a stainfree appearance, while simultaneously repelling –and not retaining – bacteria.

As a result of quartz’s unbeatable durability – without any compromise on appearance – and due to the fact that it’s incredibly low maintenance (and will never need repairing) this material is slightly pricier than granite, though still less costly than marble.

Laminate

Laminate countertops are made from recycled and renewable materials, while the manufacturing process releases low CO2 emissions, making it one of the greenest options for countertops materials available on the market.

Moreover, only the most durable laminate surfaces are manufactured, to make the material less easy to scratch – though, compared to hard rocks such as granite and quartz, it will still chip and scratch under pressure.

Still, laminate countertops come in an enormous range of colors and styles, and while they may not have the same aesthetic status as natural rock, they almost certainly make up for it with their low price.

How can you find an interior design style that brings you joy every time you walk in? Don’t fret, we’re here to lend a hand. In this article, we’ll guide you in selecting the ideal interior design style for your home. Let’s make your home a reflection of your unique personality!

Exploring the most popular interior design trends can help you identify the aesthetics that speak to you the most. From classic elegance to modern minimalism, there is bound to be a style that meets your taste and expresses your preferences.

Traditional style

The traditional style has a timeless allure with elegance, refinement, and attention to detail. It showcases classic furniture with intricate detailing, exuding sophistication. To embrace this style, choose rich color palettes like deep blues, warm browns, and muted neutrals. These colors evoke tradition and create a cozy and inviting atmosphere.

Modern style

Modern style is a clean and minimalist aesthetic, focusing on simplicity, sleek lines, and functionality. It embraces a neutral color palette, allowing the furniture and accessories to take center stage. Think shades of white, gray, and black with occasional pops of bold hues for a contemporary touch. The emphasis is on the form and design of the pieces, creating a modern and uncluttered look.

Industrial style

With exposed elements such as brick, concrete, and metal, the industrial style has a raw appeal. It creates an edgy mood while highlighting the natural beauty of these raw components. To emphasize the industrial vibe, choose neutral hues such as gray, black, and brown.

Scandinavian style

The Scandinavian style embraces simplicity and natural beauty. It features light and airy color schemes with plenty of whites, pale blues, and soft grays. The use of natural elements like wood and plants adds warmth and creates a cozy atmosphere. With clean lines and minimalistic designs, the Scandinavian style evokes a sense of tranquility in your space.

Bohemian style

Bohemian style is all about an eclectic mix of colors, patterns, and textures. It embraces vibrant and bold color palettes, including jewel tones, earthy hues, and pops of vibrant shades. To create an artistic vibe, incorporate ethnic patterns, natural materials, and handmade items.

Choosing an interior design style for the home may appear difficult at first, but the benefits are incredible. Remember, there are no strict rules in design – give your creativity wings, draw inspiration from diverse sources, and trust your instincts. With careful planning and a little ingenuity, you can transform your property into a home that captures your spirit and fills you with excitement every time you step inside!

A GUIDE TO THE RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

The process of building a residential property can be overwhelming.

There are developers, designers, architects, and other experts who can help with the construction of new homes, but you should first learn about the development process if you plan to build your own home.

Here is a helpful guide to the residential development process.

Defining Your Vision

Residential development is the process of creating a new home or improving an existing one.

The first step in this process is defining your vision. This involves determining what you want your home to look like, how it will function, and what you want it to say about you.

Once you have a clear vision for your home, you can begin to develop a plan to make it a reality. This plan will include designing the home, obtaining the necessary permits, and constructing the home.

Finding the Right Location

This means gathering information about the area you are interested in and talking to people who live and work there. Find out what the community’s needs and desires are and what the zoning regulations are.

Consult with a professional planner who can help you evaluate the potential of the site and

the community. If the site and the community seem like a good fit, the next step is to secure the financing for your project.

The Feasibility Study

The feasibility study is the residential development plan process’ way of investigating whether a potential development project is likely to be successful. The study is used to assess the financial, social, and legal feasibility of a project, as well as its technical and economic viability.

It is an essential tool for ensuring that any proposed development is likely to be successful. It takes into account all of the different factors that could affect the outcome of a project and provides a detailed analysis of the risks and rewards involved.

The Development Process

The land must be properly zoned for the desired development. Then, the development team must submit a proposal to the city or county where the development will take place.

After construction is completed, the final step in the process is to obtain a certificate of occupancy from the local municipality. This certificate ensures that the development meets all building codes and is safe for occupancy.

If you are considering developing residential property, it is important to work with experienced professionals who can guide you through the process and help you avoid any potential pitfalls.

A GUIDE TO CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIDING MATERIAL FOR YOUR HOME

As homeowners, we know that maintaining and enhancing our living space is a neverending process. From interior design to outdoor landscaping, the list can seem endless. However, one aspect of home improvement that often gets overlooked is choosing the right siding material for your home. While it may not be the most glamorous or exciting part of renovations, selecting the perfect siding can significantly impact your house’s aesthetics and functionality.

Understanding the Different Types of Siding

Several types of siding materials are available on the market, each with unique benefits and drawbacks. Some popular options include vinyl, wood, fiber cement, aluminum, and steel.

Let’s take a closer look at each one:

Vinyl Siding

Starting off with one of the most popular and cost-effective options, vinyl siding has been a top choice for homeowners since its introduction in the 1960s. This lightweight, durable material comes in various styles and colors, making it easy to customize and complement your home’s existing exterior.

Vinyl siding is also low maintenance, requiring no painting or staining, and can withstand extreme weather conditions.

Fiber Cement Siding

For those who want a more traditional and natural look for their home, fiber cement siding

may be the best choice. Made from a mixture of cement, sand, and cellulose fibers, this material offers the appearance of wood without the high maintenance and susceptibility to rotting or insects. It is also highly durable and fire-resistant, making it a practical option for homeowners seeking a natural aesthetic.

Wood Siding

Wood siding is the way to go if you’re looking for a classic and timeless aesthetic. With its natural beauty and versatility in design, wood siding can add a warm and inviting feel to your home. However, it requires regular upkeep to protect it from rot and insects.

Aluminum Siding

Aluminum siding is known for its durability, low maintenance, and resistance to fire, water, and insects. It also comes in various colors and can be painted if desired. The downside to this siding option is that it can dent easily and isn’t the most energy-efficient choice.

Metal Siding

Finally, metal siding offers a sleek and modern look for your home. It’s highly durable and requires little maintenance, making it a practical option for busy homeowners. Additionally, metal siding can be eco-friendly as it is often made from recycled materials. Some drawbacks are that it can be noisy during rain or hailstorms and may not have as many design options as other materials.

FIREPLACES

HEATING YOUR HOMES WITH GAS FIREPLACES

Although they’ve been around for quite some time, gas fireplaces have become quite popular with homeowners because they are energyefficient and cost-effective. Not only are they convenient because they burn fuel and not wood, owners don’t have to worry about ashes and soot. Their main safety feature is a sealed combustion unit which reduces the threat of combustion gases spilling into the room. Direct vent fireplaces draw their combustion air from outside while venting to the same outside atmosphere, so they aren’t consuming the warm air inside the house.

Gas fireplaces run on either natural or propane gas and come with many attractive features such as gas logs that look just like real wood. You can choose from oak, pine, birch, fruitwood and many others. Gas logs are made from ceramic and not only look real but also produce a great fire. Many gas fireplaces come with a remote control or are operated through the use of a wall switch which allows the owner to enjoy it as much or as little as he or she wants. Finally, gas fireplaces provide an alternative source of light and heat during a power failure.

For people that have decided on buying a gas fireplace for their homes, here are a few things to consider during the installation process. Before installing your gas fireplace, you should consider the positioning of the framing and the ceiling joists in relation to the location of the fireplace. Since gas fireplaces require zero clearance on the back and the side, they’re ideal for confined spaces. However, there are other clearances which should be adhered to for the vent piping depending on the configuration. Refer to the instruction and installation manuals for more information on specific clearances.

Fireplaces are the natural focal point of any room and are usually located in the center of the room. This should be taken into consideration before installation. With direct vent gas fireplaces, qualified technicians will be able to install the necessary vent piping for safe and proper usage. The unique vent process allows them to be vented vertically through the roof or horizontally through an outside wall.

Another aesthetically pleasing feature of a gas fireplace is its glass doors. Glass doors enhance the natural beauty and allow friends and family to safely enjoy the view by reducing the chances of burns. They act as a barrier and keep wandering kids and pets from coming into contact with the gas logs inside the fireplace. Installing glass doors alone doesn’t always prevent burns. Owners should take special care and use a barrier or gate for additional protection against burns.

Most new fireplaces usually come with their own glass doors. However, if you want to install glass doors to an existing fireplace, you’ll probably have to have them retrofitted. Installing a glass door requires fitting the door unit into the firebox opening and attaching it to the masonry. For fireboxes made of rough-textured material, like fieldstone, standard doors are not a good choice because they can’t overlap on the opening’s edge. For older fireplaces, you might want to use caution during installation when drilling into the brick since it may have become brittle over the years. Qualified technicians have the experience and know-how to safely and properly install glass doors to all types of surfaces.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT FLOOR FOR YOUR NEXT HOME

The key is to knowing which modern home flooring choices can elevate the appearance of your home while still adding practicality and durability. Fortunately, several terrific options can help you maximize your home’s value while transforming the look and feel of your property.

Let’s find out what they are.

Tile Flooring

Tile is one of the easiest-to-maintain flooring styles and is a good fit for rooms such as bathrooms and kitchens. This is because tiles are waterproof and are straightforward to clean, needing just a wipe with a cloth or mop. Tiles also come in a range of colors so you can find shades that match your current home décor.

Should a tile break, there’s no need to replace the entire floor. You can simply change the broken tile for a new one. But you need to bear in mind that tiles can smash easily if heavy objects are dropped on them, so they are not the most resilient flooring option.

Stone Flooring

In contrast to tile floors, stone floors are extremely durable. They are ideal for high-traffic areas such as hallways, and these types of floors can withstand rough treatment such as wet and muddy shoes walking over them daily.

Stone is often a popular choice during home renovations as property owners know the floor will last a long time. One downside is that stone flooring can be cold, but you can opt for a heated option if you have the budget.

Carpet

If you’re looking for floor materials that can make your home feel warm and cozy, a new carpet could be for you. Carpets feel soft underfoot, are available in many different colors, and can be installed at an affordable cost.

As they are non-slip, they are also ideal if you want to reduce the risk of people having accidents in your home.

Hardwood Flooring

It’s impossible to look past hardwood flooring when it comes to boosting home value. These are stunning floors that are sure to draw plenty of compliments from visitors. You can choose a cheaper luxury flooring material and buy engineered hardwood that will be durable and attractive. Alternatively, you could buy a beautiful solid hardwood floor that brings extra charm and sophistication to your property.

As hardwood flooring is long-lasting, it offers a fantastic return on investment.

Pick Your Favorite Modern Home Flooring Type

The right modern home flooring style and material can make a huge difference to your property. A tile floor can be cheap if you’re on a tight budget, and stone flooring will stand the test of time. A carpet floor can add warmth to your home, while hardwood flooring is durable and looks amazing.

Not only can a gorgeous new floor transform your home, but it can also increase its resale value!

5 POPULAR GARAGE DOORS

Planks

One of the most interesting styles that we see that are emerging are plank garage doors. Plank garage doors are cedar planks that run horizontally. They generally have tinted glass as well. These types of garage doors can bring an interesting texture, warmth, depth, and subtle dimension to the outside of a home.

Full-view glass garage doors

We are also starting to see contemporary styles and designs gaining even more traction. One of these contemporary designs we are seeing is the use of full-view glass garage doors. Fullview aluminum garage doors are engineered of aluminum and glass.

These offer great light options. There are a variety of glass options to use, including frosted, tinted, and clear. Also, instead of just brushed aluminum finish, there are other options as well such as dark bronze, and powder coat just to name a few.

A couple of special considerations do need to be thought of before installing this type of door.

Full-view glass garage doors are typically heavier than the standard steel door. Also, this door is more difficult to insulate and relies heavily on the insulation value of the type of glass used.

Insulated Steel Garage Doors

Insulated steel doors feature a layer of polyurethane insulation in between steel.

Insulated garage doors are a great way to help keep your garage cool in the summer and warm in winter while saving you in energy costs in the long run. Even heat escaping through your garage in the winter and coming in the garage in the summer may not be enough to make a significant impact each month on your electricity bill, but those small costs add up over time.

Overlay Carriage Garage Door

Overlay carriage garage doors are made by a variety of materials including steel, fiberglass, or wood and have a layered or “overlay” look to them. They can be both insulated and noninsulated. These garage doors have a style that adds depth to the design of the garage door.

The Traditional Raised Panel

Among other things, this year has made one thing noticeably clear, the need to be economical. The traditional raised panel still is still being requested for many homes and is a great choice for this reason. Traditional raised panel garage doors are one of the inexpensive options out there. Though they are the classic garage door look, with a variety of color and material choices, you can customize them to your own look. They can be made from aluminum or steel and you have the option of insulation. A wide variety of window options are available, including decorative, architectural, and double-top window sections that also give you the chance to let natural light in and add a decorative touch as well.

THE TOP 5 BLINDS AND SHUTTERS TRENDS

It’s easy to overlook blinds and shutters when you’re decorating.

When you first move in, it’s practical to throw up some Venetian blinds for privacy. By the time you finish painting, moving in the furniture and organizing, those blinds are just part of a room’s landscape.

If this sounds like you, it’s time to revamp those window dressings with one of the hottest trends.

Contrasting Textures with Your Blinds and Shutters

Hardwood or tile flooring, along with semi-gloss paint, can make for a lot of smooth textures in a room. Similarly, matte paint and carpeting can make for rougher looking textures. Blinds and shutters are a golden opportunity to layer in a contrasting texture.

If you want to add rougher textures, wood shutters or heavy cloth blinds should serve you well. If you’re looking for something a bit smoother, vinyl or plastic can offer a sleek texture.

Motorized

Not only are motorized blinds convenient, they can actually add to your quality of life. You could program them to open in the morning to help wake you up. You could also program them to close in the evening for privacy or just to delete something from your to-do list.

Blocks Of Color

Neutral colors are par for the course on most walls. They’re easier to color match and much

easier to paint over than bold colors. The problem is that they’re often bland.

Shutters or shades are the perfect places to add a serious splash of bold color to a room. They’re confined to a small area and don’t commit you to future painting projects. You can also color coordinate them with other removable items in the room, such as vases or coffee mugs.

The best part is that they’re easy to remove or replace if your tastes change.

Simplicity

If you’re going for the minimalist feel in your home, doing away with ornate window dressings is a great place to start. Consider an option like Roman blinds.

Not only are they elegant, they are also versatile. You can get them in almost any color or fabric you want, which means you can still play with texture and color in any room.

Wood

The organic quality of wood is something that never goes out of style. It comes in a multitude of colors and goes with just about any décor. If you’ve already got wood in the room, you can probably match the species as well.

Blinds and shutters can be an afterthought, or they can help you draw a room together. You use them to create layers of texture, insert a splash of color or add an organic touch. If you’re part of the smart house revolution, you can even get them motorized.

Exterior Doors.

HEATING / COOLING

THE BASICS OF CENTRAL HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING

Heating and cooling systems are crucial components of any comfortable home or office space. When it comes time to replace these essential systems, it’s important to have a good understanding of the process and what factors to consider. From selecting the right system for your specific needs to understanding the installation process and maintenance requirements, this blog will provide you with all the information necessary to make informed decisions regarding your heating and cooling replacement project.

Choosing the Right Heating and Cooling System

When considering a heating and cooling system for your home, it’s essential to choose one that suits your specific needs. Start by evaluating the size of your home and its insulation levels to determine the appropriate system size. An HVAC professional can help you assess these factors accurately.

Maintenance Tips for Longevity

Regularly change air filters: One of the simplest yet most effective ways to maintain your heating

and cooling system is by regularly changing the air filters. Clogged filters can restrict airflow and make your system work harder, leading to increased energy consumption and potential damage.

Schedule professional maintenance: It’s essential to have a professional HVAC technician inspect and tune up your system at least once a year. This preventative maintenance can help identify potential issues early on, ensuring that your system runs efficiently and lasts longer.

Keep outdoor units clean: Make sure to keep the outdoor unit of your air conditioner clean from debris such as leaves or branches. Regularly cleaning around the unit helps prevent blockages and allows for proper airflow, which is crucial for optimal performance.

By following these simple maintenance tips, you can prolong the life of your heating and cooling system, improve its efficiency, and save money on energy bills in the long run.

2025 PAINT TRENDS: TRANSFORM YOUR HOME WITH THE HOTTEST COLORS OF THE YEAR

If you’re looking for a fresh start in 2025, there’s no better way to breathe new life into your home than with a fresh coat of paint. This year’s trending colors are all about finding the perfect balance between bold expressions and calming vibes. Whether you’re looking to create a serene retreat, make a dramatic statement, or add a splash of playful energy, these colors can help you achieve your dream look. Here’s a guide to this year’s hottest paint trends and how you can use them in your home.

Moody Earth Tones: Cozy & Grounded

Warm and inviting, moody earth tones like terracotta, deep olive green, and warm charcoal are here to stay. These colors create a comforting, grounded atmosphere and work beautifully in spaces where you want to relax, like living rooms or bedrooms.

Consumer Tip: Pair terracotta walls with neutral furniture and pops of greenery for a balanced, earthy look. If you’re not ready to commit to a full room, try an accent wall or use these shades on furniture or trim.

Optimistic Pastels: Playful & Fresh

Pastels are taking a bolder step forward in 2025 with brighter versions of lilac, peach, and mint. These cheerful tones are perfect for spaces where you want to inject energy and positivity, like kitchens, playrooms, or even your home office.

Consumer Tip: To avoid an overly sweet look, balance pastels with white or light gray trim. If you’re feeling adventurous, pair peach walls with gold accents for a luxe, modern feel.

Warm Neutrals: A Timeless Update

Stark whites are being replaced by softer, warmer neutrals. Shades like creamy beige, muted taupe, and soft sand are versatile enough for any room while adding a touch of warmth to your home.

Consumer Tip: Warm neutrals make an excellent backdrop for bold décor. They’re especially great in open-plan spaces where you want a seamless, cozy look.

Bold Blues and Teals: Sophisticated Statements

Deep jewel tones like cobalt blue and peacock teal are making waves this year. These colors bring sophistication and drama to spaces like dining rooms, home offices, or feature walls.

Consumer Tip: Bold colors pair beautifully with metallic accents like brass or gold. For a more balanced look, use these shades on cabinetry or as an accent against a lighter neutral wall.

Muted Metallics: Subtle Elegance

Brushed gold, soft bronze, and pewter are stepping into the spotlight. These metallicinspired hues offer a unique way to add shimmer and sophistication to your space.

Consumer Tip: Use muted metallics for accent walls, furniture makeovers, or even ceilings to give your space a refined, luxurious edge without overpowering it.

Black as a Neutral: Bold & Versatile

This year, black is shedding its intimidating reputation and proving itself as the ultimate neutral. Whether it’s on doors, trim, or entire walls, black adds depth and drama to any room.

Consumer Tip: For a modern, high-contrast look, pair black walls with white or light wood furnishings. If a full wall feels too bold, try using black on doors or window frames to make them pop.

Create a Space You’ll Love

The 2025 paint trends are all about expressing yourself while making your home feel like the perfect retreat. Whether you’re drawn to cozy neutrals, playful pastels, or bold jewel tones, there’s a color for every mood and every space.

So, grab your paint swatches, get inspired, and start transforming your space one brushstroke at a time. The only question left is: Which color will you choose?

THINKING ABOUT SELLING YOUR HOME?

Whether you’re looking to move to a bigger home or move across the country, selling your home can be more a nightmare than a dream. Not only do you have to find and trust a real estate agent, you need to prep your home for open houses and haggle with prospective buyers. Not to mention, you have to worry about the moving and selling of all of your valuables.

As hectic as selling a home may seem, it really isn’t so bad if you break it down into a few simple rules.

Fuss over the facade

Your home’s future owners do not want to worry about repairs and renovations as soon as they move in, so make certain they don’t. Be sure to have your home immaculately clean before you invite prospective buyers over. Redecorate if your interior is outdated and invest in minor renovations if necessary. You’d be surprised what a coat of paint can do.

Focus on the fine details

Prospective buyers will leave no stone unturned when they visit your home. They will test every light switch, run every faucet, and lift up every toilet seat. Everything-and we mean everythingshould be in working order before your open house.

Double check for blown out light bulbs and leaky faucets. Scrub the bathroom and clean up any ring around the bowl, tub scum, and any other nasty surprise.

Create a soothing selling atmosphere

Imagine the last time you visited a bed and breakfast. Your home should be as welcoming and accommodating as that. One easy way to accomplish this is by brightening up the place. Turn on all your lights for your visitors. Plus, fluff up your bedroom. After all, most people want the bedroom to be the most comfortable spot in the house. Make sure it is-at least when buyers are around.

Clear the joint

Along with the last rule, there is the standard real estate practice of vacating the premises when buyers come for tours. This is done for good reason. Buyers are there to evaluate your home, not meet your sisters, sons, cousins, and cats. Send your family to the mall for a day of shopping, or to the park for a picnic.

Cut the clutter

All of your stuff can get in the way, too. That’s why it’s important to start packing and storing your personal belongings as soon as you know you’re going to move. An empty house is a cleaner looking house and therefore a more attractive house.

Make a killing on said clutter

One option is to simply move your personal items to your new home and create instant clutter there. That’s the way of the pack rat. Or, you could sell what you no longer need and turn a quick profit. That’s the way of the fat cat.

If you choose wisely-the latter option-be sure not to hold your garage sale on the same days as your open houses. Neighbors in their undershirts and jeans on your front lawn do make for a great sales ploy. Instead, it makes you look desperate and could hurt you during negotiations. Schedule your yard sale on separate days.

Take a deep breath

Lastly, never let the home-selling experience overwhelm you. Sure, there are a load of responsibilities to take care of, but that is what your real estate agent is there for. They handle all of the grunt work. They do all of the hard talking with the buyer. They make all the follow-up calls. And they showcase your home for you. Your job is just to smile, be polite, and answer the buyer’s questions if they come up.

CHOOSING A HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE THAT’S RIGHT FOR YOU

Homeowners insurance is one of the best ways to protect you and your family in case of any unexpected occurrences – fire, earthquakes, tornadoes, and hurricanes to name a few. The price of your home insurance will depend on a few factors such as the age of the house, your state, and the probability of environmental factors occurring. Choosing a home insurance might seem daunting, but once you look at the pros and cons of each, you’ll be able to easily choose a home insurance that’s right for you.

Consider Your Options

Take a look at multiple home insurance companies before you choose one that’s best for you. Just because an insurance company offers cheap monthly rates doesn’t mean it offers the best protection. It still might come with mediocre coverage and high deductibles. Make sure you take a look at all of the exclusions and limits that each company offers.

Location

As we’ve mentioned above, the location of your house will determine the cost of your home insurance. Living in an area that’s prone to natural disaster will increase the rate of your homeowner’s insurance. The crime rate in your area will also affect the price of your homeowner’s insurance.

Deductibles

You’ll want to decide if you’d rather pay a higher or lower deductible. When you pay a lower deductible, you’ll end up paying higher premiums and more money up front when you make a claim. On the other hand, when you pay a higher deductible, you’ll pay less money upfront when you make a claim and a lower monthly premium.

Discounts

If your home has certain characteristics that protect it against natural disasters, you might get discounts on your monthly rates. This can include storm shutters, security alarms, fire alarms, and living in a gated community. You may also get discounts if your car insurance is with the same company as your home insurance.

Reading about other people’s experience with the company online might help you make a better decision. You can also check out the company’s rating. You’ll want to choose a company that has a stable financial standing and one that can cover you in case anything were to happen. Take the time to research and weigh your options before making a final decision. People will leave reviews about the price, coverage, claims process, billing, and interaction with customer service. If multiple people mention that they can never get a hold of their insurer, then you might want to reconsider choosing that company. These factors will help things run smoothly so you’re not stuck in a place you don’t want to be.

As long as you choose a company that’s right for you and are honest with your insurer, you’ll be more likely to pay an affordable and correct price. If you’re looking to upgrade some areas of your home, make sure you tell your insurer, so the price of your insurance reflects any new or updated areas of your home. When choosing your insurance, take a look at location, deductibles, discounts, and the reviews and ratings.

3 PRO DESIGN TIPS FOR REMODELING YOUR BATHROOM

Upgrading your bathroom is one of the best ways to improve your house value, create a more relaxing space, and have a more energyefficient home. Because bathroom remodels can be expensive, make sure you do your remodel right. Between choosing the right designs to creating a budget, a bathroom remodel is a huge undertaking.

1. Create a Budget

Before you start your bathroom renovation project, create a budget. Creating a budget will set clear expectations for your project, which will help you avoid disappointment if you can’t afford everything you want.

Whether you have a budget of a few hundred dollars or a few thousand, you can make big improvements to your bathroom.

If you have a small budget, try to get creative and spruce up your bathroom with new paint, flooring, and fixtures. If you have a large budget, you may be able to afford a complete bathroom renovation.

2. Add Natural Elements

Did you know that spending time outside can help relieve stress, improve concentration, and increase happiness? If you don’t have time to get outside, consider adding natural elements to your bathroom.

Install new stone tiles, wood countertops, and decorate with house plants. Bringing the outdoors inside is a great way to create a better space to relax at the end of a long day.

In addition to adding natural elements, you also can add touches of green to your bathroom. Try adding green wallpaper, tile with hints of green, or a green painting. Having green in your bathroom can help brighten your mood.

If you want to create a more natural bathroom but aren’t sure where to start, consider hiring bathroom design experts. You can learn more about hiring a remodeler by checking out their website and reading online reviews.

3. Install New Light Fixtures

If you are looking for easy and affordable bathroom design tips, you should consider installing new light fixtures. Adding new light fixtures to your bathroom is a great way to add a unique touch to your space.

Whether your bathroom is modern, classic, or industrial, you can find a light fixture to fit your style. When installing a new light fixture, be sure to pick the right light bulbs for your space.

While white light bulbs can help brighten the space, yellow bulbs can create a more relaxing vibe. The best lighting for your bathroom is natural light. If you have windows, open them up to let the sunshine in.

Use These Tips When Remodeling Your Bathroom

Doing bathroom renovations is a great way to create a more relaxing living space and increase your house value. If you are thinking about remodeling your bathroom, keep these tips for remodeling your bathroom in mind.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT AUTO INSURANCE

Accidents are one of the most common scenarios on the streets with over 10 million accidents happening each year. It is, therefore, mandatory for everyone to have an insurance policy which is guaranteed to keep you and your vehicle safe on the road. When going into insurance, it is advisable that you consider a policy which would suit you best by compensating you when you get involved in an accident and that is why it is not a good approach to get insurance online without professional advice because you might not be fully covered by the insurance. It is also good to consider your budget while picking out an insurance policy.

Insurance agents can help you pick insurance policies which would be in your best interest, which would not cost much and also help you get discounts. Insurance agents can, therefore, assist you in the following ways:

1. Help you pick a quality auto insurance policy which would be in accordance with the laws of your state.

2. They team up with multiple carriers to get quality auto insurance which would be at an affordable price.

3. The agent will help you pick out an auto insurance policy which would be in line with your needs and not just any auto insurance policy.

When you review an auto insurance policy with your insurance agent, you get a wide range of auto insurance companies to pick from. You are permitted to keep checking until you find a policy which suits you best, and you cannot be forced to pick the insurance policy from just one company. To know which insurance will suit your needs certain things will be considered such as the age of members of your family and number of the people who can drive. Also, your agent may combine your home and auto insurance

policy or bundle your vehicle together under one insurance policy to help you benefit more from the insurance company.

Furthermore, your insurance agent can help check insurance policy choices, coverage limits, deductibles and pricing to ensure that you pick an insurance policy which would cover all your needs.

In every state, drivers are expected to have auto liability insurance such as limited insurance. The requirements for auto insurance varies based on each state, with the inclusion of bodily injury cost per person and per accident and also a minimum liability for property damage.

For instance, when you are liable for an accident, the liability coverage in auto insurance pays for the costs up to the limit in your insurance policy. To protect your vehicle in accidents you need the collision coverage to protect you from losing your vehicle. For people who have more needs than others, you can opt for the comprehensive coverage insurance policy. The combination of both collision and comprehensive auto insurance policy would keep you covered in instances such as accidents, theft, vandalism and so on.

The three primary types of auto insurance policy are Liability Insurance, Collision Insurance, and Comprehensive insurance.

Liability insurance covers the costs for injuries and property damage in an accident which a person is liable for.

Collision insurance covers the cost of repairs to your vehicle after an accident.

Comprehensive insurance also known as ‘other than collision insurance’ covers damages to your vehicle from natural disaster or theft.

LIGHTING / ELECTRICAL

5 LIGHTING TRENDS WE LOVE

Lighting is something that you typically notice when it’s really good or really bad. Many homeowners make the mistake of not having enough when it comes to lighting. Sometimes, certain events at your home call for different lighting. (Think an evening cocktail party.) People often wonder if they can mix finishes in their rooms (do the light fixtures in my kitchen need to match the cabinet pulls?) With so much to consider, we thought we’d highlight some of the trends we are loving now!

Chandeliers: Lighting with big impact

The classic overhead fixture has come a long way! Chandeliers can be found in contemporary designs with updated finishes.

Warm metals are popping up everywhere! Think of fixtures made of rich copper (hammered or raw copper exude a natural beauty, while a satin finish feels luxurious) or brass. Brass fixtures can be polished, aged or burnished. The varying patinas give totally different looks! Brass is definitely making a comeback. Gold tones (especially rose gold) are also hot this year. Like its brass counterpart, gold doesn’t always have to be shiny and bright.

Vintage Vibe: Upgraded

“Vintage” is one of those oft-overused words. When it applies to this year’s lighting trends, there’s a little “upgrade” from the typical looks that celebrate an older, industrial age. This year’s fixtures really showcase sleeker materials and modern technology. Sure, fans will still see the natural colors, rustic finishes and simple designs that have come to define vintage lighting.

The sleeker materials make the lights feel more thoughtful in design and less “I found this old bucket, hung it upside down and screwed a lightbulb in it!”. Vintage lights work well in the kitchen (think above the island or work space) and as wall lights or sconces.

Mixed Metals

It’s like wondering if you can wear a brown belt with black shoes. Can you mix metals when it comes to your lighting choices? The short answer is yes. Mixing metallic design elements can be achieved by doing it within a single lighting fixture or even within a larger design environment (an entire room).

The key? Make your choices look intentional. Put some thought into it. One of the areas you can look to “mix” it up is the actual texture of the fixtures. Consider mixing hammered, matte and even polished finishes for a layered, rich look. You might also consider mixing warm metals (gold, copper) and cold (silver, chrome) metals.

Energy-Saving bulbs

As with many areas of their lives, homeowners are choosing to go green and conserve energy wherever possible. It comes as no surprise that choosing energy-saving lightbulbs helps homeowners create a more earth-friendly home. LED and CFL bulbs are currently the most efficient choices. These use up to 80% less energy and last significantly longer than incandescent bulbs. Before purchasing bulbs, make sure you light fixture is compatible!

Star light, Star BRIGHT!

Starburst fixtures catapulted onto the scene last year and they are still making major statements everywhere you look. You can see this bold fixture combines the WOWS of the gold and the starburst.

Often, like a quick paint makeover, lighting is an inexpensive way to dramatically update your home. We often have sellers look at their lighting before we list and 1) make sure there’s enough to highlight the home, and 2) that it is updated and works with the aesthetic of the home.

OUTDOOR FURNITURE TRENDS FOR A COZY AND INVITING BACKYARD

The average American spends only 14 hours per week outdoors.

Luckily, that number seems to be increasing! More people have learned to appreciate their outdoor spaces during the Covid-19 pandemic. If you’re lucky enough to have a patio or porch, embrace it!

Is your patio due for a pick-me-up? Are you looking for new outdoor décor ideas for your backyard?

Check out designs we love from today’s outdoor furniture trends.

Gorgeous Outdoor Furniture Trends

The overall theme for trending outdoor areas is a peaceful escape, woodsy elements, and artful color punches. These designs take inspiration from recent indoor furniture trends and postquarantine dopamine dressing. These trends aim to create an outdoor space that feels natural, genuine, and like an extension of the home.

Textural Throwbacks

This season, we’re seeing a lot of designs harkening back to the 1960s and 1970s. Midcentury modern is still going strong in the interior design world. It’s no surprise that these trendy, cozy pieces are making their way outdoors!

Metal, mesh, and woven rattan are seeing a glamorous return in the form of sleek chairs and benches. The more, the merrier when it comes to mixing these textures!

Vibrant Moments

Since the dark days of quarantine, more people have been seeking colorful clothing and home décor to make us smile. Don’t be afraid to embrace color in your outdoor decor this season!

Bring your 70s textures into the 21st century with pops of tropical color. Peacock blue, avocado green, and vibrant pink are having a major moment. Throw pillows, planters, and table settings are great places to include color!

Pops of Pattern

Keeping in line with the colorful and textural maximalist theme, patterns are also trending in outdoor furniture and design. This time, however, we’re seeing them emerge in some new and funky ways.

Patterned pillows and cushions have been common in outdoor design for many years. This year, try using subtle patterns in unexpected areas, like a tabletop or painted wall. Some folks have even taken to painting their concrete patio!

Spheroidal Shapes

Backyard furniture has stepped away from blocky, heavy designs in favor of more natural, smooth silhouettes. Woven rattan is a perfect example of this trend because rattan furniture typically has smooth, rounded edges.

We also see plenty of pod-like seating and egg chairs, especially in hanging, swinging form. Look for backyard furniture ideas that beckon you to curl up with a good book and hang for hours.

Inside-Out Approach

Let’s be honest; we often neglect our outdoor living space. By making the outdoors feel more like home, you and your family are more likely to take advantage of the fresh air!

Outdoor furniture trends are seeing more pieces that feel cozy and room-like. In this trend, patios are treated more like living areas with built-in seating, walls, and shade. Functional tables and lighting are also essential for this trend!

Soak Up the Sun in Style

Give your outdoor living space a makeover this season! Natural textures, funky colors, and comfy nap-able pieces are the way to go. These outdoor furniture trends will surely create an outdoor space you never want to leave!
