3D SYNQ

TUSA has developed a unique Fitting Ring that has been built into the Mask Skirt. This technology enables the Mask Skirt to mold to all face shapes providing the ideal fi t, seal, and underwater experience.

Swift Buckle 3D

TUSA has designed the perfect buckle and mask strap. The NEW low profile buckle is slim and light weight. The easy adjustment buckle and strap is silent and effortless when making adjustments.

Freedom Technology

Freedom Technology is a set of four (4) technologies to enhance fi t and performance exclusive to TUSA. Freedom model masks feature a dimpled skirt surface with varied silicone thicknesses and stability ridges in addition to a proprietary low-friction skirt surface on the fi tting line.

Freedom Technology with Fit II

Freedom Technology is a set of technologies to enhance fi t and performance exclusive to TUSA. Freedom model masks feature a dimpled skirt surface with varied silicone thicknesses and stability ridges in addition to a proprietary low-friction skirt surface on the fi tting line. The new Fit II technology adds strength and rigidness to the skirt for use in tough environments.

TRI-MIX Frame

Three (3) distinct layers combined to produce one superior frame structure. Polyurethane (PuRiMaX) material bumper protection and a cross-beam metal frame structure combined with the superior toughness of the polycarbonate frame bolted together to create a seriously tough mask.

UV 420 Lens Treatment

UV 420 Lens Treatment protects against harmful high-energy visible (HEV) light and its potential to damage the Retina. HEV light is not just present on sunny days, but overcast days as well. Therefore, it is extremely important to protect your eyes against UV and HEV light in all weather conditions when diving.

180 Buckle System

The buckle rotates a full 180 degrees to accommodate varying head sizes for optimum fi t. The thin frame and rotation of the buckle allows the mask to be folded into a compact size.

3D Mask Strap

TUSA’s patented 3D Strap is a true three-dimensional design that snugly fi ts against the head’s natural curvature. The 3D strap offers unprecedented comfort and fi t unlike standard fl at mask straps.

Angle Strap Adjustor

The Five (5) Angle Strap Adjustor allows for a fi ve position micro-adjustment on both the left and right sides of the mask. This enables vertical (up/down) and horizontal (left/right) pressure on the face to be delicately adjusted for the optimum fi t.

Snorkels

Comfort Swivel

The Comfort Swivel adapter makes it possible to slip the mask strap into the slit with no hassles. The two-part construction allows the snorkel to rotate and can be attached in a horizontal position.

High Flow Purge

The High Flow Purge design used on TUSA snorkels offers a covered large diameter purge valve for simple, quick clearing, reducing the amount of water remaining in the mouthpiece in an instant.

Active Pivoting System

The combination of uniquely positioned holes that reduce drag while maintaining constant propulsion and the built-in fi n stop creates a soft kick that produces great power.

Anatomic Fin Strap

The AFS is anatomically shaped to offer a balance of fl exibility and control to increase comfort, power transfer and to signifi cantly reduce heel slippage found in many standard fl at fi n straps.

Angled Blade Design (A.B.D.)

The Angled Blade Design accommodates for this anatomical characteristic and ensures maximum effi ciency throughout the kicking cycle.

Bungee Strap

The heavy duty elastic fi n strap provides easy donning and doffi ng of fi ns. The quick adjustment accommodates fi ve (5) adjustable positions.

EZ Strap and Buckle System

TUSA’s EZ strap and Buckle System allows fi ns to be quickly and easily adjusted with minimal effort. Adjustment can be made while the fi ns are worn, allowing for a precise fi t and ease of removal when necessary.

The Adjustable Control Knob designed to better control breathing resistance.

Advanced Flow System

The Advanced Flow System allows ease of air flow and makes air delivery smoother due to the curved housing structure.

Anti-Refl ective (A/R) Lens Treatment

TUSA’s Anti-Refl ective (A/R) Lens Treatment decreases internal and external refl ected light. This reduction increases light transmission to 95% resulting in signifi cantly enhanced color, clarity, contrast and better overall vision underwater.

Corrective Lens

Corrective Lenses are offered on several styles of masks. This option allows the diver to choose right and left lens powers in both a variety of diopters for maximum fl exibility and for a custom fi t.

CrystalView Optical Glass

CrystalView optical glass lenses provide superior clarity, color and transmission of light over standard glass lenses used by the competition. Up to 15% of available light can be lost with a standard glass lens due to impurities and refl ectivity. TUSA’s CrystalView lenses transmit up to 95% of available light to the diver for clear crisp vision. CrystalView lenses are used in all PRO models masks

Hyperdry Purge

Clearing a mask has never been easier thanks to our patented Hyperdry System. Simply breathe out through your nose and any water that has accumulated in your mask is forced out through a one-way purge valve. Once the mask is clear, the valve seals shut.

Panoramic View

Panoramic View masks feature a variety of designs offering an incredibly wide fi eldof-view. Several designs incorporate minimum frame volumes, domed side-windows, reduced frame structures as well as three and four window styles for maximum vision.

Quick-Adjust Buckle System

The Quick-Adjust Buckle System incorporates a newly-designed low-profile buckle. The result is a compact, lightweight, technologically advanced mask design that can be easily and quickly adjusted for a perfect fi t.

Round Edge Skirt

TUSA’s Round Edge Skirt features a proprietary round edge cross-sectionally shaped skirt. This rounded edge results in a soft fi t that suppresses pressure and reduces creasing left on the face. The “planar fi t, instead of linear fi t” silicone skirt maintains great fi t and unprecedented comfort.

UV Lens Treatment

TUSA’s UV Lens Treatment provides 100% protection from harmful UVA and UVB rays. Blocking of the ultraviolet spectrum (under 400nm) provides greater eye protection without sacrificing light transmission or vision.

Hyperdry Elite Dry Top

The Hyperdry Elite maintains the same superior dry performance and keeps the snorkel completely void of water by quickly and effi ciently closing the fl oat when submerged or hit by waves.

Hyperdry System

The Hyperdry System keeps the main pipe dry by ejecting water through an independent escape pipe. This unique design utilizes the angle of the snorkel pipe and the resistance of the water surface to eject water.

ForcElast Technology

A proprietary thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) compound precisely positioned in an advanced blade and foot pocket structure. ForcElast delivers superior propulsion, efficiency and speed even with moderate power input.

Propeller Technology

TUSA’s advanced split fi ns employ Propeller-Fin™ Technology, which delivers ultrahigh performance with a low amplitude rapid fl utter kick. As the fi n moves through the water its two wing-shaped surfaces create lift and forward propulsion like a propeller. Effi ciency is increased while drag and effort is reduced.

REFLECT

This advanced refl ective material brightly refl ects 180 degrees back to the original light source. Providing high visibility in low light conditions.

Vortex Generator

Six (6) performance ridges positioned behind the blade vent reduce resistance, creating a smoother and more effi cient kick cycle.

Tefl on Coated Plate

The Tefl on Coated Plate prevents “dry mouth.” Condensation forms on the brass plate adding moisture to the dry air released from scuba cylinders.

Click Spring Adjustment

The Click Spring Adjustment feature is exclusive to TUSA. It is a fi ve (5)-position adjustment knob designed to better control breathing resistance.
