IDEAL FOR COLD WATER ENVIRONMENTS

The cold water ready feature enables the regulator to be used in waters below 50°F / 10°C tested to a temperature of 39°F / 4°C.

2ND STAGE 2ND STAGE

The S-90 second stage is a pneumatically balanced design. A small chamber positioned at the end of the poppet assembly traps air and forces the poppet back against the intermediate pressure orifi ce. This provides decreased inhalation resistance and increases smooth breathing in all conditions.

A secure single locking integrated weight system that allows you to quickly and easily secure your weight pockets. The A.W.L.S. allows the diver to insert weights into the weight-cartridges and loading them easily into the front of the BC jacket.

INDEPENDENT HARNESS SYSTEM

The Independent Harness System isolates the BC jacket’s harness from the air cell, tightly supporting the tank even with changes in air cell infl ation/defl ation. The I.H.S. prevents tank slippage and eliminates any gaps between the tank and your back.

Hands-free is an innovative riding style that allows an operator to steer the scooter with body movement; much like a seal. This inline body placement is more streamlined to effectively decrease fatigue, reduce air consumption, and extend your dive time. Go further, get there faster, and have a lot more fun along the way. VARIABLE SPEED CONTROL TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS

Quick and smooth speed control is now at your fi nger tip. Speed adjustments are made via an accelerator lever that changes the rotational speed of motor while vehicle is in use. Adjustments are very smooth, allowing user to fi ne-tune speed. This new design provides a far more advanced control system than other underwater scooters.

When the main switch is turned on, the battery indicator lights up. An LED indicator displays the battery level.

PITCH SELECTION

Before riding, rotate the variable pitch dial in advance. You can adjust the angle of the propeller in three (3) steps. By adjusting the propeller characteristics according to the usage environment. Fine speed adjustment is possible.

UNDERWATER RESISTANCE REDUCTION

HYPERDRY PURGE

With the Hyperdry Purge system, you simply breathe out through your nose and any water that has accumulated in your mask is forced out through a oneway valve. Once the mask is clear, the valve seals shut.

The use of a secondary diaphragm and piston sealing the 1st stage preventing contamination or freezing when the regulator is submersed in contaminated or freezing water.

Ortho-Conscious Mouth Piece

The Ortho-Conscious Mouth Piece feature prevents jaw fatigue. The ridges and fl exible material allow the diver to have more control of the mouth piece and reduces tension in the jaw.

The 3D Hybrid Cubic Air Cell combines the features of a wrap-around style BCJ and a back-inflation BCJ into a unique streamlined hybrid design. The air cell offers increased lift capacity over standard back-inflation jackets and a more streamlined, comfortable fit underwater and on the surface.

Active Purge Assist (A.P.A.)

Exclusive to TUSA, the Active Purge Assist is a pneumatically assisted power infl ator. Using a piston, the power infl ator activates a stainless steel cable connected to the shoulder dump valve. The APA assures a quick response when defl ating air from the BC.

Advanced Weight Loading System II (A.W.L.S. II)

The 2nd generation A.W.L.S. continues to enhance TUSA weight integrated BC jackets by incorporating an ergonomic handle grip and quick-lock feature. Release the weight cartridges with ease by simply turning the handle grip vertically 90° in either direction.

DIVE COMPUTERS / GAUGES

4 Gas Mix

This advanced feature allows the diver to preset four individual gas mixtures (Mix 1, Mix 2, Mix 3, Mix 4) from 21-100% for easy switching during the dive.

2 Gas Mix

This feature allows the diver to preset two Nitrox gas mixtures (Mix 1 and Mix 2) for easy switching during the dive as necessary. Mix 1: 21 to 50%, Mix 2: 21 to 99%.

Altitude Smart Mode

The Altitude Smart Mode allows the computer to automatically adjust for altitude diving.

Audible Alarm

TUSA’s computers feature Audible and Visual Alarms for the most important dive data warnings. Ascent rate, maximum depth, no decompression limits, safety stop and several other key data can be set to alert the diver.

Backlit Display

Several TUSA computer instruments feature a Backlit Display for night diving or low-light situations. The bright backlight is activated by a touch of a button and the duration can be set for up to 10 seconds in length enabling the diver to view critical dive data easily and quickly.

The Swivel Hose gives maneuverability to the 2nd stage. The hose can rotate 360 degrees allowing it to move freely with the diver’s head motions.

Venturi Flow Adjustment

The Venturi Flow Adjustment allows for ease of breathing by controlling the direction of air through the mouthpiece.

Independent Harness System (I.H.S.)

The Independent Harness System isolates the BC jacket’s harness from the air cell, tightly supporting the tank even with changes in air cell infl ation/defl ation. The I.H.S. prevents tank slippage and eliminates any gaps between the tank and your back.

RiteTite Buckle

The RiteTite Buckle is a two (2)-position cam strap for quick and easy adjustment. While the strap is being looped through the buckle, the buckle stays in place without needing to be held. This allows for more control and stability. This feature is part of all TUSA BC’s.

Ultimate Stabilizing Harness (U.S.H.)

TUSA’s Ultimate Stabilizing Harness completely eliminates tank roll and delivers an amazing fi t. The U.S.H. securely holds the air cylinder in place with optimally placed rails and brings the tank closer to the body increasing tank control while reducing weight.

Waist Support System (W.S.S.)

The Waist Support System significantly enhances comfort and fi t by dispersing the weight load around the hips. The W.S.S. integrates the adjustable shoulder harness system with the rear stabilizing plate and cummerbund to effectively unload the hips while ensuring a snug fi t.

Free Dive Mode

The Free Dive Mode calculates dive times and surface intervals for free diving.

Optional Deep Stop

An optional safety stop on No Deco dives exceeding a depth of 80 feet.

PC Downloadable

TUSA’s PCLogbook, TUSA DataLog PC, and DiverLog Mac interfaces allow the diver to transfer complete log and profile history from the dive computer to a personal computer or upload user settings to the computer. A PC interface unit is sold separately.

TUSA TC1’s built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery eliminates the need for battery replacement, and offers up to 25 dives in diving mode and up to 3 months in standby mode.
