TOP GRAPHIC SHEET Provides great looking top graphics and a layer of UV protection, increasing the skis longevity.

SPEED V-TECH V-Tech adapted for a faster moving ski. Three curved “V” shaped steps decrease the wetted surface area under foot while allowing water to reconnect at the tail for maximum fin effectiveness. Curves in the “V” disrupt more flow in the center of the tunnel and less along the edge. This reduces overall drag while maintaining edge hold. V-TECH V-Tech is the key to increased maneuverability and decreased drag. Six “V” shaped steps regulate the flow of water on the base of the ski by breaking up the wetted surface area from the front binding to the fin. In short, less water is sticking to your ski as you accelerate forward.

DOUBLE TUNNEL Not to be confused with side-by-side, the double tunnel is a tunnel within a tunnel. This unique design sets the ski deeper in the water and gives it extra bite while on edge. When used with a softer flex pattern the skier is able to achieve aggressive angle without sacrificing a forgiving feel.

WIDE TUNNEL This tunnel design leaves an extremely narrow flat spot between the edge of the tunnel and the bevel of the ski. The effect is a ski that actively seeks to be on edge, most useful for experienced skiers and buoy chasers that have above average ski control.

The reinforcing fibers used in the ski provide the strength and flex required to get you down the lake, whether you are just cruising or shredding buoys in a slalom course. We use different types, amounts and orientations of carbon and/or fiberglass depending on the skis intended use. Our high performance skis use carbon to provide the precision, control and explosive acceleration demanded by the high end skier. Our recreational skis use fiberglass for a more forgiving, less demanding ride, for those just looking to get out there and have a good time.

CONNELLY TRACKING SYSTEM Connelly Tracking System was developed to reduce the number of instances where beginners are “this close to getting up”. C.T.S. can help you get there. A subtle spine feature on the tip of the ski helps keep the tip tracking straight while the boat starts to pull you up on deep water starts.

STANDARD TUNNEL A tunnel is a concave feature that runs the center length of the ski, setting it deeper in the water and giving the skier more edge hold. A standard tunnel leaves more flat surface between the edge of the tunnel and the bevel giving the ski more stability while maintaining edge hold.

At the heart of the ski is the core. Our upper end skis use a lightweight PVC core to provide the ultimate in weight reduction and resilience. Not only does the base hold the graphic layer and provide UV protection, it also features specific textures to help the ski perform at its best on the water, reducing drag and directing flow where it needs to go.

90/10 CARBON/GLASS Carbon is extremely light and super responsive. There are are two key reasons to use some glass in a carbon ski; it dampens vibration making slight chop feel like butter, and it drastically increases the life of your ski giving you consistent flex properties from your first set to your last.

FIBERGLASS Fiberglass technology brought us out of the dark ages of wood skis. Although they were pretty, wood has too many variable properties to get consistent flex patterns and rocker lines. While it has been around since the 60’s advancements in layup, weave, and fiber properties have given us the consistent flex, vibration dampening and light weight skis we have today.

Narrow skis sit deeper in the water giving you more contact and control with less surface area. Less width also makes edge transitions faster, requiring less leverage, allowing quick turns, high angles and explosive speed. Our top end skis are designed for maximum performance at higher speeds. At slower speeds, more width is necessary to keep the ski in the perfect position so it can perform as intended. We use the same basic features our top end skis use, only tuned for the slower speeds to maximize performance and control. Superior performance and control at high speeds. This year the GT features additional carbon tape from the heel of the front boot to the tip of the ski for extra support in the deepest turns, and a micro tweak to the tail rocker keeps the ski at perfect balance for a cleaner finish. The variable bevel transitions from sharp to round as you move toward the tail, setting the ski deeper in the water in the turn. This provides more speed into the turn without blowing out the tail.

The combination of quick maneuverability, response, and forgiveness makes the Carbon V the best 34 mph tournament level slalom ski on the market. The same forgiving fore-body and bevel design of the V paired with a light and snappy 50/50 carbon/glass layup create a perfect balance for running the course or carving open water. V-Tech reduces drag saving you energy for more time on the water.

The V first introduced our revolutionary V-Tech step base technology, a feature used on every Connelly ski designed since. You don’t have to work as hard to enjoy the fast, responsive performance of the Aspect. The same high-end features of the V are set on a wider frame for performance at 28 to 32 mph. Sharp bevels on a wide fore-body set the ski higher in the water adding support on aggressive turns. V-Tech step base technology reduces drag and adds maneuverability keeping you on the water longer.

The high-end features of the V are set on a slightly wider frame creating a ski that excels at 28 to 32 without sacrificing the performance feel you expect from a ski with V-Tech. Sharp bevels on a wide fore body set the ski higher in the water adding support on aggressive turns. The fiberglass layup is designed to address the agility of a lady, with a softer, more forgiving ride.

The HP will perform no matter your skill level. This intermediate ski is smooth and forgiving, with years of design experience poured into the mold. The tunnel is shallow and narrow, stabilizing the ski for cruising around the lake, but is deep enough to carve huge turns. Well suited for all water conditions it will deliver pure enjoyment for the recreational skier.

The Prodigy is a stable, forgiving, performance based ski that provides that transitional step before getting into a more aggressive slalom shape. Sharp front bevels and a full concave tunnel design provide the perfect blend of performance and stability for kids under 120 lbs. Young skiers who want to get better, or even have more fun, need a ski that is built to their specifications.

The Quantum combo pair delivers performance and value. The wide tails and shallow, narrow tunnels assist in easy deep water starts and provide smooth easy turns. Slide-type adjustable bindings fit a wide range of foot sizes as does the proven ski design that the whole family can enjoy. Beginners can pick up a stabilizer bar for extra help keeping the skis straight and the proper width apart.

Smaller, lighter skiers will gain confidence and enjoy the ride more on properly sized gear. The Super Sport features our shaped ski concept with wide tip and tail making deep water starts easier. Beginners can also use the included front stabilizer bar to keep the skis in line and the proper distance apart. Remove the bar once they learn the basics to utilize the full performance of the skis.

The Cadet trainers are set up for a successful learning experience. A removable stabilizer bar system keeps the front and back of the skis in place, and is attached to the rope to take some load off of the child. The two handle Cadet rope lets an adult safely control the pull from the boat as well as drop the handle in case of a fall.

Ever tried exercising in a strait-jacket? No, that would be stupid and restrictive. Well so are big metal plates bolted to skis that are designed to flex. The Sync bindings feature Free Flex technology that has eradicated the restrictions traditional baseplates put on a ski. Each boot is set in a supportive yet flexible Exolast and is mounted with our Dual Plate design. The seamless outer shell and removable liner feature a dual lace system that pulls your foot back into the ergonomically shaped heel pocket. There has never been a better connection between you and your ski.

The Tempest binding is a brand new design for 2018. A high cut wrap and independent liner provide comfort and support to keep your feet happy, giving you more time behind the boat. Dual lace zones let you customize fit over the top of your foot and around your ankle. The easy going, natural carving style of The Standard is the result of design input from one of the smoothest, styliest riders around, Josh Twelker. This seemingly simple design excels on the water with subtle features blended together in perfect harmony. SKIM Skim boards are designed to rely more on the rail, and less on the fins, for control much like their oceanic brethren. The loose, skate inspired performance aspects of a skim style make spins, ollies and shuvits much easier than thick boards with beefy fins. Every boat should have a skim in the ‘ol quiver. SURF Surf styles use a multitude of rail shapes, board outlines, and fin setups to accommodate different riding styles and skill levels. There’s more than one way to ride a wave and we recommend trying them all.

BIG EASY

The Katana is the most pure surf style board in our line, and it’s geared to attack a wave. Round rails up front are forgiving and buoyant, helping the tip stay above water. Sharp rails at the tail give the Katana some bite. Vector net in the tail paired with a 21 strand carbon patch along the stringer provide ninja like response and pop off the lip. Utilize a blazing fast quad fins setup or ride it as a twin for a loose, slashy feel.

A brand new shape for 2018! The Big Easy is bringing back the soul carving style of the 60’s. Our longest surfer to date and equipped with a full length EVA pad the Big Easy lets you hang back at the tail for big turns, or run up for some toes on the nose action. Our unique tail design keeps this big board surprisingly nimble and the tri fin setup lets you dial in how it tracks.

HYBRID A little bit country, a little bit rock-n-roll. Hybrid surf designs generally have a thin profile, somewhat sharp rail, and use a deeper surf style fin. The result is a fast acting, responsive board that can carve a mean line as well.

EPOXY Surfboard shapers have been using this construction method for ages. It produces the extremely light, buoyant, responsive board that surfers love to ride. This type of construction allows for nearly any shape you can think up, the possibilities are endless.

SURF

COMPRESSION We use compression molding for its ability to produce thin boards that are rigid and durable. Skilled skim riders and beginners alike utilize their sharp rail for board control. SOFT Unlike other soft construction surfers we use two wood stringers with our foam core to maintain rigidity and response. A reinforced top and bottom sheet and a foam rail protects from dings, dents, and pretty much anything else you can throw at it.

QUAD The need-for-speed fins setup. Two front fins are accompanied by two smaller rear fins. Both sets are flat foil allowing water to pass through the centerline without resistance while the curved outer surface creates lift and hold into the face of the wave. TRI Possibly the most popular surf fin setup of all time. A large center fin provides superior tracking while the two flat foil side fins generate speed and hold in the face of the wave. TWIN With no center fin there’s less resistance through the middle of the board allowing more speed. With just one fin per rail this setup is looser than a quad or tri setup. Easy to break free on a slash, but grippy enough hold on the bottom turn. SKATE The Skate fin setup has been used in our line since we started making surfers for its reliability, ease-ofuse, and ability to customize. Use all three fins for a stable ride, remove the center fin for a twin fin feel, or pull the side fins for a skim style setup. SKIM For those that like to play it fast and loose. This setup releases super easy making tricks like spinning and ollies easy to initiate.

Fit for those who like a loose, skate feel the Bad Habit is equipped with a low profile edge rail and a single 1'' center fin, perfect for boosting off the lip and uninhibited spins.

For 2018 the Benz is outfitted with a brand new tech fiber layup. Vector net around the fin box and a carbon/aramid hybrid weave through the center of the board add structure and torsional rigidity in these key spots. The flat rocker line and featureless base let this board haul on a wave. A twin 3.1” FCS II fins setup can grip a bottom turn or break free at the lip.

If you like a pure surf style board that is fast and maneuverable this board is for you. A wide tip and tail adds to total surface area supporting bigger riders. This also takes some curve out of the rail creating a fast but stable feel. The Voodoo can hang way back on a wave and is reactive enough to boost forward on command.

Three 1.75” tail fins make it easy to customize the board feel whether you like a surf style twin setup, or a single rear fin skim feel. Beginners looking for all the tracking they can get can utilize all three. Durable compression molded construction will keep this board in action for years to come.

You won’t find a better performing epoxy surfer at this price. This skim/surf hybrid is fast and maneuverable on the wave, outperforming boards that are twice the cost. The blunted nose and tapered tail combine with a stable edge sidecut radius for a predictable feel. The twin 3.6'' flat foil fin setup provides grip and drive while on edge, yet can break free on slashes at the lip of the wave.

The Ride is by far our best learning/intro package. Three 1.75'' removable tail fins give you options to customize your board feel. Beginners can use all three fins while more advanced riders can use either the two side fins or a single center fin. Double edge rails lend extra grip on the wave for confidence while on edge. The Ride is available with a surf rope for that all-in-one package.

Ding-free soft construction meets real wave riding performance with the Laguna. Dual wood stringers run the length of the board, and reinforced top and bottom sheets help maintain rigidity. The soft edges make this surfer extremely durable whether it gets dropped or shoved into the back of the boat. Don't be fooled by the price, the Laguna is built to shred.

Thermo Shell construction is light weight, performance based and extremely tough. The EPS core is set with a wood stringer and wrapped with a full layer of fiberglass to add rigidity and bond the foam with the outer shell. Our highstrength Duraband fiber is wrapped around the rail of the core to add to impact resistance. An exterior layer of Thermo Shell tape seals and reinforces the bond between the top and bottom layers.

Our 3D Softy construction uses 2 wood stringers and an epoxy/fiberglass layer that runs the full length of the board with extra layer of glass in the standing zone. Where other soft constructions bow under the rider’s weight, our 3D Softy holds shape for riders of all sizes. Comfortable foam covers the entire top of the board and rail, helping protect against minor bumps and dings.
