The 500SE utilizes a servo controlled valve to provide precision airflow and unparalleled performance for both air and trimix divers in a side exhaust configuration. To achieve this, we have perfected the original "lever-servo valve" we designed over 35 years ago. Overbalanced diaphragm first stage also provides ideal hose routing for both backmount and sidemount users and optimum performance regardless of depth.

Hollis' flagship 1st stage is the DCX, designed by divers for divers. Every feature is designed with high performance and superior manufacturing at every step.

The DCX is surrounded by the most durable coating available today, DLC. The DCX was been redesigned to reduce weight while improving angle of LP and HP ports to maximize hoses routing. Hollis has made it an industry standard to include the 5th LP port making the DCX the diver's first choice for back-mounted doubles, sidemount or even for the recreational diver that demands the same performance as a technical diver.

DLC "industrial" plating - DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) is a super-hard coating that is by far the most durable coating available today. Superior quality that will outlast any traditional finish.

Unique over-balanced, diaphragm design. As the diver descends, the over-balancing feature allows the medium pressure gas in the hose to increase at a rate faster than ambient. This results in superior performance at depth.

The HO2 1st Stage is certified for up to 100% Oxygen Service thanks to highly specialized component materials and manufacturing processes. Cleaned and assembled in a clean room environment with specially designed materials, halocarbon based lubricants and color-coded for easy identification. The Regulator First Stage weighs 8.3 oz (235.3 g).
