Soöruz has put the emphasis on growing the share of technical products years ago. Because each sport and rider are different, we develop several ranges that meet every specifics needs: ranges dedicated to Surfers (B.I.G, Firehead, Guru), range perfect for several watersports (Fighter for windsurfers/kitesurfers/wakeboarders), one adapted to Stand Up Paddle (Fighter Sup), one for beginners, one for school & Rental, plus impact vests and accessories.

The NATURALPRENE is the fruit of several years of research for making a natural rubber foam. Our goal is to replace petroleum manufactured neoprene by a natural product coming from a renewable and respectable farming. The naturalprene is 100% neoprene Free. By combining Naturalprene’s performance with alternatives eliminating the maximum chemical products, Soöruz designed the high end eco wetsuit BIG. The glue and prints marking techniques used are water-based with no harmful chemical solvents in it. The inner Polar-dry© (water repellent and Quick Dry), and outside ULTRA FLEX lining are in recycled polyester made from plastic bottle that offer the same performance as stretch but are more eco-friendly. Our innovative zip-free entry removes the use of zipper slides.

LE NATURALPRENE est le fruit de plusieurs années de recherche pour obtenir une mousse de caoutchouc naturelle. Notre but est de remplacer le néoprène fabriqué à base de pétrole par un produit naturel issu d’une culture respectable et renouvelable. Le Naturalprene est 100% sans néoprène. En associant les performances du Naturalprene avec des alternatives éliminant le maximum de produits chimiques, Soöruz a conçu la combinaison haut de gamme éco-responsable BIG. La colle utilisée et les marquages sérigraphiés sont à base d’eau sans solvants chimiques nocifs. Les doublures, intérieure Polar-dry© (Hydrofuge et séchage rapide), et extérieure Ultra Flex, sont en Polyester Reclyclé à base de bouteilles en plastique et offrent les mêmes performances en terme de souplesse et isolation que le polyester haut de gamme. Evolution of SOÖRUZ’s ecology involvment Very early, we have been considerated the environment in the development of our wetsuits. Since 2013, we developed our flagship wetsuit the GURU Pro with bamboo and recycled polyester linings. In 2014, Yulex Corporation has developped the material made from natural guayule. After the first year of testing, we launched our first wetsuit B.I.G. made from Yulex in 2015. It’s in 2015 that the Naturalprene came onto the scene. After one full year of testing in order to assess its performances and his longevity , we are proud to present for 2016 our new ecological wetsuit B.I.G. 100% in Naturalprene.

LIMESTONE NEOPRENE Soöruz utilise depuis plus de 5 ans du Limestone Néoprène dans ses combinaisons. L’attrait principal de cette matière est la réduction de l’utilisation des produits chimiques lors de sa fabrication, par rapport au néoprène classique. Le Limestone Néoprène possède également un très bon rapport qualité-prix. En le couplant avec des matières recyclées, il représente un 1er pas vers des produits moins impactant pour l’environnement. Malgré ces efforts, il ne peut pas être considéré comme une matière Eco-friendly. Neoprene Recycling Process We recycle as much neoprene production waste as possible and turn them into qualified products, thus minimizing the waste that goes to landfills.

Soöruz uses since more than 5 years Limestone Neoprene in its wetsuits. Main interesting aspect of this material is to reduce the use of chemical products during production compare to classic neoprene. Limestone Neoprene also has a very good value for money. By coupling it with recycled materials, it is a first step for less environmental impacting products.In spite of efforts, Limestone Neoprene can’t be considered as an Eco-friendly material. In its approach of offering products always more respectful towards our planet, SOÖRUZ developed news solutions and already uses since two years Naturalprene, the unique environmentally responsible answer on the market today. Soöruz verwendet seit über 5 Jahren Kalkstein (Limestone) Neopren in seinen Wetsuits. Dadurch wird die Verwendung von Chemikalien bei der Produktion, im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Neopren, drastisch verringert. Kalkstein Neopren bietet außerdem ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. In Verbindung mit recycelten Materialien stellt es einen ersten Schritt zu umweltfreundlicheren Produkten dar. Trotz dieser Verbesserungen kann es nicht als ein umweltfreundliches Material angesehen werden. In ihrem Bestreben umweltfreundliche Produkte anbieten zu können, entwickelt Soöruz neue Lösungen und nutzt bereits seit 2 Jahren Naturalprene, die aktuell einzige umweltfreundliche Alternative auf dem Markt.

All of our prototypes have been tested many times by our riders and testers to reach the best performance ever in sustainable wetsuit technology and in order to optimize as much as possible B.I.G. wetsuit. The new ABYSS is the perfect mix between eco-responsibility, high performance and look. In 2018, our high-range ABYSS wetsuit is built with 80% of Naturalprene and 20% G4-ULTRAFLEX limestone Foam. Its shape dedicated to girls is particularly elaborated. It keeps all the high range wetsuit specificities. Our Chest zip system entrie bring more comfort, flexibility and waterproofness. The inside storm-dry lining brings comfort, warmth and fast drying. The inside lining built with G4 UltraFlex Limestone Neoprene , on low legs, arms and shoulders mixed with big seamless panels on the front, back and on scratching zones increase the flexibility and the freedom of movement to the maximum. Seams are glued and blinded stitched and perfectly waterproofed and strengthened by a glued inside edging.
