Officer Teaches D.A.R.E. Program To Students

BEACHWOOD – As the D.A.R.E. program closes in on the end of its third week at Beachwood Elementary School, the Beachwood Police Department would like to highlight D.A.R.E. officer, SRO Anthony and his progress within the program. During week three, topics like emphasizing the health effects of alcohol and tobacco and the risks and consequences of making good or bad choices were presented and discussed. annually.

The Beachwood Police Department believes this program is an integral part of community-based policing and build positive relationship and dialogues with our youth. Keep up the good work SRO Anthony!

Beachwood Recreation Seeking Volunteers

BEACHWOOD – Beachwood Recreation is currently looking for volunteers for their annual Easter egg hunt on April 2 (rain date April 8).

They had an unbelievable turnout last year, and are ready for it again this year, but they need volunteers from the community to make it a success. Contact at 732-286-6000.
