BTMUA Recognizes Fix-A-Leak Week
BRICK – March 22 is World Water Day and it falls in the EPA’s WaterSense’s Fix-aLeak Week which is celebrated from March 20 through March 26. The BTMUA encourages everyone to do their part in conserving water and making sure every drop counts! Leaking water fixtures such as faucets, shower heads and toilets was as much as 10,000 gallons a year annually in a home. Checking for leaks takes about 10 minutes. Finding and fixing leaks could reduce your water bills by up to 10%. For hints on eliminating leaks, check out the EPA’s Fix-a-Leak Week website.
