Estuary Kayak Tours

TOMS RIVER – The Ocean County Department of Parks & Recreation will be offering Estuary Kayak Tours for ages 14 and up. Tours will launch from the boat dock at the Ocean County Parks Administration Office, located at 1198 Bandon Road, Toms River, on Wednesdays until August 16 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Explore the salt marsh and Silver Bay as Cattus Island County Park naturalists guide you on our two-person sit-upon kayaks. Kayaks, paddles, and PFDs will be provided. Please plan on arriving 15 minutes prior to the tour with water shoes and clothes that can get wet.

To register, send a check or money order for $5 made payable to the “County of Ocean” to Ocean County Parks and Recreation, 1198 Bandon Road, Toms River, NJ 08753. Provide your name, address, and daytime telephone number, along with program number 222306 and the date of your choice when registering.
