When the reviewer wrote those words 4 years ago, Commencal was hardly what you would call a household name in the USA. Construction To make the SKIN, we use the best carbon fiber on the market: High Modulus 12K (Toray T600 for those in the know). This high-end fiber allows us to make use of fewer layers, resulting in a lighter construction with equivalent rigidity and reliability to similar frames on the market.
