We offer 3 relocation services to traveling expats: Furnished rental apartments: fully equipped short stay rental apartments in Antwerp, Valencia, Barcelona, Madrid and Asturias:

Legal assistance: a Globexs

lawyers help expats with immigration processes and other legal matters related to moving abroad Webshop for expats: a specialized webshop where expats can buy indispensable items for their new home

We offer 2 services to owners: Property management: complementary housing services related to short stay rentals Property finding: assistance to expats who want to buy a property in Spain

Our history Globexs was founded in 2002 focusing on expats on the move, with a wide range of services to make their stay abroad more comfortable. In the first years, the focus was mainly on language and translation services. In 2009 Globexs started offering accommodation for expats in Antwerp. In 2010 we expaned our services to Valencia, and soon added Madrid, Asturias and Barcelona to our destinations. Our apartments are fully equipped, located in nice areas, and offer the right comfort level. Our customers are expats that arrive in a new destination. Our goal is to make them feel welcome from the first minute. Besides the right accommodation, we offer a wide range of complementary relocation services, such as legal assistance related to immigration, translations, etc.

Additional Services Since 2015 we have added an extra service: a specialized webshop for expats. In the Globexs webshop we offer a range of indispensable items for every expat: "Everything that you forgot or was too heavy to bring". Expats can buy new bedlinens, pillows, duvets, towels, umbrellas, amenities, etc... Customer service is what the rental business is all about. Whether you stay for a week or 6 months our level of engagement is the same: customer satisfaction through quick replies and problem solving. Welcome to your new destination, welcome to Globexs!

How does it work? For stays under 6 weeks: 1.Explore our city mapz to check where you want to stay. 2.Enter the dates and check availability and price. 3.Book online or submit a booking request. 4.Pay a 20% downpayment to confirm the booking. 5.On the day of your arrival the owner waits for you at the flat to hand over the keys.

For long stays: Book online by paying a 20% prepayment, or contact us for a customized quotation.

General information Globexs acts as an intermediate between people owning a furnished flat and people looking to rent one. Flat owners in Spain and Belgium autorise us to publish and promote their flat to find customers who want to rent it for short stays between 3 days and 4 weeks. Globexs acts as an intermediate throughout the whole booking process: We assist the guest before and during their stay and we ensure effective communication between the flat owner & the guest. Booking a flat with Globexs is easy and safe and only takes a few minutes, as well as the checkin/check-out processes.

Finding a flat Whilst looking for a flat in Spain or Belgium you can choose a particular neighborhood on the map or the search engine, or have a glimps at all properties available. After entering the required capacity and the dates you are offered a selection of available flats. Some of these flats can be booked immediately (instant booking), and others require a booking request. Instant booking: These flats can only be booked through the website. We exclusively manage these flats and guarantee the availability of these flats during the dates of your stay. You can book these flats without consulting previously the availability. These "globexs flats" usually offer the better deals.

Booking requests: if you are interested in one of these flats we cannot accept instant bookings because we need to double check the availability with the owner. Within 8 hours we will reply to your booking process. If the flat is available you can complete the booking with a few simple clicks. If the flat is not available we will propose a good alternative for you.

Booking a flat A booking is confirmed when a downpayment of 20% is done (short stays under 6 weeks), or when the rent of the first month is paid (long expat stays). This can be done by creditcard or paypal.

Arriving at the flat Once you have booked a flat we prepare your arrival: We contact the flat owner who will wait for you at the flat on the day of arrival. In most cases the owner will present a simple rental contract, and ask a deposit upon arrival. The rental process is a direct transaction between the owner and the guest. But there are never any nasty surprises: all the terms and conditions of the rental are clearly communicated during the online booking process.

Leaving the flat On your arrival the owner of the flat will give you instructions for the check-out process and the return of the deposit.

Customer service Globexs Short Stay guarantees a safe booking process and a problem-free stay at your short stay flat. Even though the rental agreement is directly between the guest and the owner we wil always act as a contact person and intermediate in case of problems or unpleasant surprises. We are always reachable and have a physical groundfloor office in Valencia where we welcome every guest. You can also leave your luggage in our office if necessary.

Are you an expat? If you are coming to Spain or Belgium for 6 weeks or more we are pleased to make you a quotation. Globexs was founded in 2002 and stands for "Global Expatriate Service". This is how we can help you: 1. finding the right place to live: Expat accommodation. According to your budget and your expectations (neighborhood, number of bedroom, parking facilities, etc...) we will offer you a selection of available flats or houses to choose from. 2. legal assistance: Globexs has a legal department that can assist with all legal matters: starting a company, applying visa or NIE, registrations, etc... 3. language services: translations and interpreters

Webshop for expats "Everything that you forgot or was too heavy to bring" In our specialized webshop we sell indispensable items for every expat. Everything that you forgot or was too heavy to bring. For example: bed linens and bath linens. Most expat rental apartments provide a set of bed- and bath linen, but it is always nicer to be the first user. Who does not like to be the first person who sleeps on a pillow or under a duvet? Other examples are hair dryers, umbrellas, etc. The typical things that are so easy to forget, or simply do not fit in the suitcase.

Dual Sim Mobiles & Smartphones: Keeping you in touch no matter where you are

DUAL SIM MOBILES FROM L-MOBI L-Mobi was established in 2010 as the 'brain child' of Ruben Thiru. Along with many others in the telecom industry, he felt there was a need to have dual sim phones, that where affordable to everybody, for the price of a single SIM phone. After three years of research, development and quality control, L-mobi launched their first mobile phone, the L102. After fighting off tough competition from major industry players, L-mobi has built up and established consumer confidence in the brand and they have gone on to launch additional models. The major industry players have also started introducting more Dual Sim mobiles, with the blue chip telecom companies now introducing a range into their line up. Recently L-mobi launched Dual Sim Smartphones on a trial basis with their loyal consumer base. These Android Smartphones have become very popular and they are now about to launch their fifth model. L-Mobi team consists of R&D, purchase and a sales team to keep improving their standards and quality. Why Dual Sim Today, many of us have a need to carry two phones: one for work and other for personal use. However, the new ranges of Dual Sim smartphones allow you to do away with one one of these, by allowing you to insert two Sims, into one phone. Ask yourself: is it really necessary to have a 500â‚Ź to a 1,000â‚Ź phone in your pocket? If you absolutely need all the features or just want to have a special Marque, then the answer could be yes. But for most of us, the latest range of L-mobi mobiles and Smartphones offer superb quality, build and specifications, that will allow you to mix business with pleasure, all with just one handset. Within the market for Dual Sim mobiles, there are a number of different choices that you should be aware about, to ensure that you pick the correct mobel to suit your needs. At L-mobi we have a number of different options for you to pick and choose from, from the world's smallest mobile to our latest range of Android Smartphones.

DUAL SIM CARD MOBILES The models of phones with dual SIM slot can be of three types: Passive: These have only one transmition antenna, so you can only have one active SIM card for calls and data at any one time Dual standby: can be used to send and receive calls over any two cards, but when a call is received on one line other Sim Card goes to 'sleep' and enters standby mode. You can only use one card for data. Normally the second SIM only be used with 2G connection for voice and main 3G for voice and data.

Dual call (active): these phones can be used for calls both cards at the same time notifying what SIM comes the call and if we answer it or put it on hold. Keep two active lines at the same time has a greater impact on phone battery. Data will be active only one card. Dual-SIM phones are also useful for maintaining two personal contracts. For instance, one of your Sim Contracts might offer a good rate on calls and texts, and the other offers unlimited data for surfing the world wide web, WhatsApp, Messengers, etc.. The other huge Dual Sim attraction is for those who travel on a regular basis or who have foreign holiday homes. For instance you might like to carry a UK or Dutch SIM for when you're at home and another that is local to the country you're visiting. Dual-SIM phones are incredibly popular outside Europe and especially the developing world, but for some reasons the majority of major manufacturers do not offer their popular phones with Dual Sim in Europe. While the grey market has become a popular solution for picking up a dual-SIM phone, there are risks involved, such as the total lack of any guarantee, importation duties, zero support, limited resale market, customs charges plus the possibility of receiving a fake phone and simply losing your investment. At L-mobi we provide all our customers with a guarantee, customer service department, value for money, zero importation or customs duties, phones that retain their value for the resale market plus a second guarantee in that whatever mobile you decide up, you can be 100% sure that this is the phone you will be purchasing.

How do dual-SIM phones work? What's the difference between dual-active and dual-standby and how you can manage calls, texts, data and cut back on roaming charges. At L-mobi we offer different types of Dual-SIM phones. The choice is yours, depending on your requirements and budget. The majority of Dual-SIM mobiles are on standby at all times known as dual-standby phones. This means that either of your installed SIM cards can accept a phone call or text at any time. You do not even have to even think about choosing between them or having to reboot the phone. If you receive a call on one number and then receive a call or a text on the other, the call simply won't come through and your voice mail will pick it up. The newest generation are mobiles with Dual-active SIM technology. These mobiles use two modems and allow you to receive calls on both numbers at the sametime. For outgoing services, to make a call or send a text, Android has a standard SIM Management menu that lets you specify which SIM should be used for voice calls, video calls, messages and mobile data. You can either specify a particular SIM for each of these tasks, or leave the setting at Always ask. If you are interested in a Dual-SIM mobile then all you have to remember is to 'Always Ask' L-mobi, as they have something to satisfy all mobile phone users. How do you divorce when you’re an expat in paradise? For many couples, moving to Spain to enjoy the sun and a luxury lifestyle is the stuff of dreams. For a privileged few it can become a reality. However, the sunshine, nice cars, villas and endless fiestas bring no guarantees of happiness to any relationship. So what happens when it all goes wrong? What do expats with considerable property, business and other interests need to do to get a divorce and what are the things they may need to consider which many couples living a different lifestyle may not need to worry about? Multiple cars, multiple homes, bank accounts in different countries, different pension pots and tax laws varying depending on your circumstances can all have a massive impact on the ultimate divorce settlement that the individuals walk away with. First thing’s first: it is vital to take advice as early as possible from a solicitor in England experienced in dealing with expat divorce. Not every high street solicitor will do this, though they will understand the principles of the divorce process itself. However, this type of case can be tricky and involve multiple jurisdictions. Do your homework and find someone for whom this is familiar territory. The cost of not doing so may be high, in more ways than one. In many cases, British expat couples will be able to use the English courts but you may need to act quickly to secure jurisdiction if your partner is not English and is likely to look for courts in their country of origin or in Spain. Your solicitor will be able to assess the relative merits of using the legal system where you are domiciled – essentially where you come from and have lived most of your life – and where you are resident. In some cases, the prospects of a better outcome may be where you live rather than where you come from. Again, this is where using a lawyer experienced in multiple jurisdictions will really serve you well. For wealthy couples, an early task will be to identify where the assets are to consider how enforceable any outcome will be. This may help you to be pragmatic when working towards a settlement. For instance, if a UK court ruled that one party should keep the properties and the other the bank accounts, can that be enforced if the

accounts are offshore and the properties in a number of different countries? Your solicitor will help with this, and may encourage you to speak to a lawyer in Spain or any other country that has jurisdiction, but they should also be able to signpost good, experienced independent financial advisers. If you are realising capital abroad, it is really important to take proper advice on the best way to utilise that capital and maximise its potential. Very much tied up with that is tax planning which is often very different and very much more complex than if we were only dealing with domestic assets or earnings. Pensions can also be tricky. UK courts cannot make orders in relation to foreign pensions, and vice versa. We are therefore often looking to “offset other assets and thus you need to know what the real value of the foreign pension is, both in relation to the fund value and the value of any benefits. You may have pensions in more than one jurisdiction and therefore really careful consideration needs to be given in order to ensure you will ultimately achieve what you think you will in a settlement. That can involve calling in pension advisers or actuaries who understand the complexities of pensions from that particular jurisdiction – and they are not in plentiful supply. It pays to plan ahead. It is vital that you build trust with your team and work together to achieve the best possible outcome. They will also help ensure a line is drawn under any settlement so no future claims can be made by an ex-spouse.

BCNewt: the new look at office space A Coworking in Barcelona Transforms Recycled Wood in Shared Creativity The communion between architecture, design and creativity, is the inspiration for BCNewt space, located in Barcelonaʼs Poblenou neighborhood. At the beginning it was all ideas. The objective, to create an authentic work space. To achieve it, the community of BCNewt coworkers decided to be as far away as possible from the mass-focused aesthetics of the large chains of home equipment. "Thanks to some industries which still are in the neighborhood, we had every day a lot of wooden pallets disposal all around us,” explains Gustavo Franco, project manager. BCNewt was born in the summer of 2014 with the intention of create a coworking environment that feeds creativity. Now, after an extensive renovation, the place has a story to tell. The pallet design The first task was to transform an estimate of 17 pallet —timber structures used to transport goods— in suitable building material for different functional elements. Everything was filthy, covered with rusty nails and splinters. So they set about the task of selecting the pieces that were clean and in better condition. This part of the process took about two weeks. "I had the challenge to create ceiling lamps that were functional and aesthetically interesting," explains Mercurio Sobocki, interior decorator and project adviser. That is how the pieces were constructed, with an assembly that spans over the different work areas, achieving an attractive geometric minimalism. In total, three lighting sets, with warm tones lights, on a format of elongated lamps, on linestra style or round bulbs.

With the solid pallet pieces was built what is now a strong conference table. At the edges, you can still read the burned imprint of the European railway systems, a sign of postindustrial identity. With other pieces, the thinner ones, the kitchen table was built. Here the community of coworkers remembers every day how important it is to share resources. Finally, when the wood remains seemed destined again to be abandoned, the thinner strips were used for the baseboards. "The decor of coworking spaces is the wave of the future in terms of office decoration, as it appears to be more professionals each year seeking to establish their business in this type of activity spaces," said Gustavo Franco. About BCNewt Located in the heart of interconnected 22@ District, epicenter of urban and technological innovation in Barcelona, BCNewt offices stand in an industrial building at Carrer Llull 47. In one of the European cities with the highest number of rooms and offices for cowork (according to coworkingspain.es), the new coworking proposals must be refreshing.

Recognizing this value, BCNewt始s style pointed to shapes and has distanced itself from the chromatic monotonies and the traditional designs. Thus, they have inaugurated a multipurpose center with ecological and transgressive spirit, where space reflects and represents the philosophy of coworking. A series of renovations were made around the office. On one hand, ceiling lamps, kitchen and meeting room tables, floor baseboards and divisions between the kitchen and the workroom, were built from pallets worked for reuse. On the other, windows, concrete columns and beams were restored to give new decorative details; the same for the electrical system, which happened to be green consumer, and for which they have created unique pieces from coupling nozzles and bulbs. BCNewt understands space and architecture as does the architect Santiago Calatrava: "An art that determines the identity of our time and improves the lives of people." In short, a space that will motivate, commune and communicate the experiences and wishes of the coworkers of the future.

Haussmann - First boutique department store to open 2016 Last year a group of Dutch entrepreneurs and financial investors agreed to join forces to set up a brand new boutique department store in Amsterdam under the name 'Haussmann', to be opened in the second half of 2016. This ambitious initiative is based on the strong belief that both from a Dutch and international perspective, there is significant demand for a truly high-end retail service offering. Amsterdam has become an attractive city for the young and successful cosmopolitan citizen and is an increasingly popular destination for international overnight visitors, being the fastest growing destination after London. Frans van der Kraan, founding partner and CEO of this boutique department store, said: "Haussmann's mission is to redefine luxury retail by setting a new standard on good living and taste, which goes far beyond what today's conventional department stores are offering. Haussmann strives to truly touch and inspire its customers through a combination of high quality products (food and non-food), innovative service concepts and the use of state-ofthe-art technology." To deliver on its promises and achieve its ambitions, Haussmann has selected a unique landmark location (7,000 square metres of retail space) in the historic centre of Amsterdam, right in the middle of the prestigious Rokin District, at the entrance/exit to the subway NoordZuidlijn (which opens in 2017) and next to 'Marks & Spencer's' future flagship store at Rokin. On the spot that used to be the beating heart of the Golden Age (1588 - 1702 A.D.) Haussmann has found the perfect location to combine the benefits and convenience of a brand-new building with the charm and ambience of the historic former "Vleeshal" in the Sint Pieterhalsteeg. At this site, Haussmann will provide both its local and international customers a safe, easily accessible and comfortable environment, to experience the uniqueness, quality and taste that Haussmann stands for. Van der Kraan noted: "A trip to, or day spent in Amsterdam, is not complete without a visit to Haussmann." In addition to enjoying Haussmann's luxurious fashion and leisure departments, customers are invited to visit Haussmann's fresh food market, enjoy its fine dining restaurant on the top floor offering panoramic views of Amsterdam or relax in its beauty & beyond centre. Haussmann will present a unique and diverse combination of high quality products and

services with an inspiring story. Haussmann's entire product and service offering will be carefully designed to adhere to the highest quality and exclusivity standards, with eye for detail and the right mix of iconic and new brands. Ultimate objective is to make every visit to Haussmann a true and memorable shopping experience. Haussmann will capitalise on the latest technologies available in retail to provide its customers a seamless shopping experience both on- and offline. Haussmann clearly recognises that to achieve its ambitions as outlined above and to create the desired special moments for its customers, the careful selection and training of its employees is of critical importance. Therefore Haussmann's employees will be trained to apply the highest standards of hospitality and expertise and make a difference in a way where we don't see service as a necessity but as a signature. As part of doing business in the wonderful city of Amsterdam, Haussmann strongly believes in establishing mutually beneficial relationships with the local community. Haussmann will provide employment, source from local food suppliers and offer the opportunity and space for all kinds of artistic and cultural events (e.g. young and promising Dutch designers or artisans showcasing their latest work or craftsmanship). Going forward the owners and management of Haussmann are committed to deliver on their promises and are working hard to further detail and implement their operating plan (e.g. brand partnerships, detailed floor plan, construction of the new building, ICT architecture- and infrastructure etc). Van der Kraan added: "Our desire is to give Amsterdam a new landmark it deserves."

Corgi James Bond Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger 50th Anniversary In 1965, one year after the movie Goldfinger was released, Corgi started production of the Goldfinger James Bond Aston Martin DB5, and won the first Toy of the Year for the model. Now, in 2015 Corgi presents a new release, fully featured DB5 for a new generation of James Bond fans. The model is presented in the iconic silver livery of the film (£19.99), and a limited number will also be produced in a gold finish (£19.99) The entire production run is already sold out but some are already on eBay priced from a reasonable £35 to a silly £120 plus... In 1965 Corgi won the first Toy of the Year Award for the Goldfinger James Bond Aston Martin DB5. Now, in 2015 Corgi present a new release; a fully equipped DB5 for a new generation of James Bond fans. Presented in the iconic silver livery of the film, it is displayed in a special retro-styled anniversary box. No word as yet if they will produce another run of this iconic car. Features include: Working ejector seat Front-mounted machine guns Bullet-proof screen Over-riders James Bond & Baddie

Finding an original Corgi Car: Model 261 It's not so easy to find a 50 year old Corgi 'toy' car in good condition these days. Most people search ebay as the first option and sometimes this produces great results. Just one, was found recently at: www.tintoycar.com and priced at $500. On ebay.co.uk, 50 year old cars in near perfect or reconditioned condition, sell at a guide price of around ÂŁ150, with box and in as new condition, some with additional figues and baddies too. What collectors are on the lookout for are cars from the first batch of the 'Corgi 261 James Bond' die-casts... WELL, one of 3.5 million made over two to three years as the car was also seen in Thunderball. Along with the 1966 Batmobile (which sell for over ÂŁ500), this is possibly the most iconic toy car: perhaps of all time. Designed in a mad rush for the xmas market... at this point the factory almost dropped all other makes and models to complete and manufacture ready for delivery. Tooling, moulds and manufacture was reputed to have cost in 1965/6 about ÂŁ40,000: quite a lump sum in today's money. These assembly ladies in the factory could assemble and rivet these cars in an incredible 20 to 30 seconds; a minimum of two per minute. From metal trays of assorted internal bits for the 261, they had to put the car upside down, put in the roof; glass; guns; overriders; interior; rear bullet proof shield; exhaust; a baddie with gun and Bond: James Bond... All that, in less than 30 seconds without dropping it, plus then adding the rivets. The 261 had many shades and colour variants over its short life ranging from really gold, to a sandy barely metallic gold, almost flat colours, and coatings varied daily. Cars should always come with James Bond driver figure and a flying chinaman. The DB5 had silver bumpers, revolving numberplate, headlights and chrome grille with red rear stop lamp detailing. And if you find a nice one, it will be 'shocking; trully shocking'.

Aston Martin challenges the nature of luxury GT travel in the 21st Century with the debut at the 85th Geneva International Motor Show of the innovative DBX Concept. Created to defy conventional thinking about the luxury GT segment, the DBX Concept widens the appeal of the iconic British luxury brand and reaches out to a more diverse global audience than ever before. Unveiling the concept, Aston Martin CEO Dr Andy Palmer said: “The DBX Concept is a challenge to the existing status quo in the high luxury GT segment. It envisages a world, perhaps a world not too far away, when luxury GT travel is not only stylish and luxurious but also more practical, more family-friendly and more environmentally responsible. “I asked my team at Aston Martin to expand their thinking beyond conventions, to explore what the future of luxury GT motoring would look like in years ahead, and the DBX Concept you see before you is the result.” “The DBX Concept is more than a thought starter for us and for our customers, though. We will, in due course, be entering a car into the new DBX space and I am very much looking forward to seeing how this concept is received not only here today, but also by our legion of existing loyal customers and by those potential customers around the world who have, to this point, yet to consider one of our cars.” Harmonious design Imagined by Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman and his team at the brand’s global headquarters in Gaydon, Warwickshire, the all-electric DBX Concept showcases not only cutting edge engineering but also a major evolution of the British brand’s world-renowned and highly-regarded design language. Clearly signalling an extension to the brand’s existing model lines in the future, the all-wheel drive DBX Concept seamlessly combines traditional Aston Martin beauty with elegant new engineering that gracefully aligns form and function. Capable of accommodating four adults in comfort, the DBX Concept also majors on day-to-day practicality. It offers generous luggage capacity by virtue of the fact that its rear trunk and forward load bay can both accept passengers’ belongings. Opulence and cutting edge style go hand-in-hand in the DBX Concept thanks to a unique fusion of high luxury and advanced technology. These characteristics, allied to the ingenious use of unconventional materials and finishes inside and out, are calculated to further broaden the appeal of Aston Martin. The concept’s exterior bright work emphasises the brand’s approach to

the use of authentic materials, and is made up of machined billet aluminium with visible milling lines in a piece of exquisite craftsmanship intended to be seen as the car’s jewellery. The DBX Concept’s unique paint finish – Black Pearl Chromium – has been specially created to mimic the look of a genuine black pearl, and comprises a micro-fine layer of chrome to deliver a level of reflectivity that cannot be obtained through normal paint finishes. Inside, the deliberate use of non-automotive standard materials generates a uniquely soft, cocooning ambience. Marek Reichman explained: “The exceptional craftsmanship, with detailing more typically seen on luxury consumer goods or fine jewellery, gives the DBX Concept genuinely global appeal.” Experimental engineering Embracing the very latest engineering techniques and theories, the DBX Concept needs no engine compartment thanks to its use of electric, inboard-of-wheel, motors powered by lithium sulphur cells. Drive-by-wire electric steering, toughened glass with an auto-dimming ‘smart glass’ inter-layer, and bespoke driver and passenger head-up displays are further examples of its cutting edge technology. Active LED exterior lights, carbon ceramic brakes with a kinetic energy recovery system (KERS) and rear view cameras in place of conventional mirrors also underline the mould-breaking nature of this luxury GT concept. Dr Palmer explained: “A concept car such as this should, in my view, challenge conventional thinking and explore the art of the possible. In the DBX Concept, I believe we have created a new type of luxury car that can not only broaden the appeal of Aston Martin to a whole new generation of customers, but sit with pride alongside the rest of our range."

Generational shift to luxury digital Affluent consumers in the US prefer to buy luxury goods in store but there is a discernible generational shift taking place as fewer millennials are concerned to shop this way with more inclined to explore options via an app. A report from The Luxury Institute surveyed wealthy consumers in the US with a minimum household income of $150,000 per year and found that only 40% of millennials wanted especially to shop in store, while 72% would download a branded luxury app. “There are clear generational differences where the boomers are less digital and millennials are extremely digital,” Milton Pedraza, CEO of The Luxury Institute told Luxury Daily. “There is no one size all client experience,” he added, “and we have to understand the consumer not as a segment but as one individual, as a human being, in order to build a long-term relationship.” That said, the differences leapt out in a number of statistics. Overall, 53% of luxury consumers did not download apps, while 47% did so, with most of these being in the younger generations. Another instance came in social media, where almost two thirds (64%) of wealthy consumers didn’t follow any brands. But among millennials a similar proportion (68%) followed at least one brand and among Gen X the figure was 58%. But more than one third (38%) of baby boomers also claimed to have downloaded branded luxury apps. “Boomers are behind in digitalisation, [but] they are by no means not digital,” said Pedraza, “especially the highly educated global traveller.” The Luxury Institute drew attention to the role of fashion bloggers in reaching and influencing the younger generation. It found only 15% of boomers followed a fashion blogger compared to 62% of millennials. And followers had made an average of 4.2 purchases from blogger suggestions. Even if these bloggers can find it difficult to maintain a leading edge position, Luxury Daily observed that their followings can compare favourably with magazines, the traditional influencer in luxury fashion. The influence of technology is inexorably influencing purchase decisions in some way: 61% of all affluent consumers said it allowed them to make more purchases, while 65% said it was changing the way they shop for luxury brands.

Actor Idris Elba breaks historic 'Flying Mile' record in a Bentley The award-winning actor hit a top speed of 180.361 mph at the wheel of a new Continental GT Speed on Pendine Sands, Wales. This broke the existing record of 174.8 mph set by Sir Malcolm nearly 90 years ago in his legendary Napier-Campbell Blue Bird. The record was independently verified by the UK Timing Association. Elba, who famously played Nelson Mandela in the multiaward winning Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, said: “I'm absolutely elated to have broken the 'Flying Mile' at Pendine Sands. It’s an honour to have taken on the challenge, and to successfully follow in the footsteps of the illustrious Sir Malcolm Campbell.” Despite some challenging tidal

conditions on the beach in south Wales, the record was broken in the Crewe-built Continental during filming for an upcoming four-part Discovery Channel series, Idris Elba: No Limits, which will air in July. Bentley Continental GT Speed Powered by Bentley’s iconic 6-litre twin-turbo W12 engine, the GT Speed develops 635 PS and 820 Nm for instantly accessible high performance. Coupled with a new ZF

eight-speed close-ratio automatic transmission and state-of-the-art engine management software, the GT Speed despatches the zero-tosixty sprint in 4.0 seconds (0-100 km/h in 4.2s), on its way to a top speed of 331 km/h

Interest in Private Jet Travel Continues Its Ascent Abercrombie & Kent Announces Encore Journey of Best-Selling Private Jet Program Interest in Private Jet travel is growing and seems to have no end in sight. For 2016, Abercrombie & Kent will offer its best-selling Private Jet Journey, Around the World by Private Jet: Islands, Savannas & the Amazon (October 17 –November 11, 2016), designed by A&K founder Geoffrey Kent and featuring some of the most remote places on earth. "To say that interest in private jet travel is strong would be an understatement," says Kent. "Unprecedented would be a more apt description. We just sold out an around-the-world trip I'm hosting to wildly exotic destinations including Uzbekistan, the Philippines and Mongolia, primarily to past A&K private jet travellers." Travel by private jet makes it possible to experience far more than on a conventional itinerary —without sacrificing comfort and convenience. Guests on A&K's privately chartered jet bypass customs and security lines, arrive in remote destinations that larger commercial airlines don't serve and the limited group size – no more than 50 guests – makes it possible to include exclusive, invitation-only events that make the journey truly unforgettable. On Around the World by Private Jet: Islands, Savannas & the Amazon, guests go in search of the fierce Komodo dragon in its natural habitat, celebrate over dinner at Sri Lanka's Galle Fort, reserved exclusively for A&K guests, and discover the long-held traditions and way of life of a pre-modern civilization in Papua New Guinea. "I personally designed this voyage to combine some of my favorite places with exotic destinations visited by only a privileged few," explains Kent. "This journey has sold out for two consecutive years and, based on feedback from our guests, I am confident it will once again meet with an enthusiastic response." This circumnavigation of the globe combines the world's mightiest river with several mysterious islands. Observe remarkable wildlife in their natural habitat and vistas of spectacular beauty. Meet indigenous peoples and gain an understanding of their traditional way of life, unchanged for hundreds of years.

KBB.com Names 10 Best Luxury Cars Under $35,000 Of 2015 Luxury doesn't require spending big bucks anymore; with a strong influx of smaller, more affordable luxury-brand cars and crossovers/SUVs appearing on the market over the past year, there are more choices than ever before. In fact, this year Kelley Blue Book's expert editors lowered the cutoff of its annual 10 Best Luxury Cars Under $35,000 list from $40,000 to $35,000. Highlights include: And while Kelly Blue Book is an American publication, it gives European buyers a good baseline in what to expect for the European market. Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com expert editors detail 10 2015 model-year luxury vehicles that are both affordable and comfortable, with modern style, features and efficiency. More than half the entries are all-new or redesigned for 2015, and four of the five crossovers/SUVs didn't even exist in 2014. Each 2015 luxury vehicle on the list has a starting price under $35,000, dropping from $40,000 from the previous year's list. Each featured model details fuel economy (city/highway/combined), horsepower, pricing information, photos, links to expert and consumer reviews, and more. Specific models featured include: 2015 BMW 2 Series, 2015 Acura RDX, 2015 Audi Q3, 2015 Lincoln MKC, 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class, 2015 Acura TLX, 2015 MercedesBenz GLA-Class, 2015 Cadillac ATS, 2015 Audi A3, 2015 Lexus NX. For more information and news from Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com, visit www.kbb.com/ media/, follow us on Twitter at www.twitter.com/kelleybluebook (or @kelleybluebook), like our page on Facebook at www.facebook.com/kbb, and get updates on Google+ at https:// plus.google.com/+kbb. 2015 BMW 2 Series In a clear case of having your cake and eating it, too, the most affordable BMW is also among the most fun to drive. There's even a cherry on top in the form of highway fuel economy that tops out at 36 mpg. Available features like a parking assistant, Track Handling Package and BMW Apps add touches of BMW-style luxury.

2015 Acura RDX This 2-row SUV is a shining example of what Acura is all about. It has a driver-centric attitude and a crisp, modern cabin with luxury amenities, but it's also fuel-efficient and practical. And while value isn't always something you find in a luxury vehicle, the RDX boasts the most standard equipment in its segment.

2015 Audi Q3 Audi's all-new small SUV surrounds all on board in the kind of modern, well-crafted cabin Audi is known for. The Q3 has the handling to make twists and turns in the road entertaining, yet its suspension is compliant and the ride is comfortable on the open highway. Features like Quattro all-wheel drive and premium interior amenities set the Q3 apart. 2015 Lincoln MKC The newest, most affordable Lincoln might be the best-looking vehicle in its lineup. The new-for-2015 small SUV combines attracting styling, impressive tech amenities and fun-loving driving dynamics. 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS Class Draped in curvy sheetmetal that evokes its relationship to the pricier CLS-Class, the CLA-Class offers the attitude and performance of more expensive Mercedes vehicles. Between the high-performance AMG option and features like a panoramic moonroof, you can enjoy a luxurious Mercedes-Benz at a more reasonable price. 2015 Acura TLX Replacing both the TL and the TSX, the TLX has the handling prowess of a smaller sport sedan with the packaging and interior space of a larger one. The TLX has a tech-savvy attitude, plus driver-friendly features like Super Handling All-Wheel Drive, 4-wheel steering and an 8- or 9-speed automatic transmission. 2015 Cadillac ATS The ATS, available as a sedan or a coupe, makes excellent use of Cadillac's angular styling to make this sport sedan stand out from the rest of the crowd. But it takes more than good looks to do well among "the rest of the crowd," which includes the Mercedes-Benz CClass and the BMW 3 Series. The newcomer ATS holds its own thanks to great engine choices and fantastic handling. 2015 Audi A3 Entry-level does not have to mean a major compromise, as is exemplified by the Audi A3. This sedan is small but well equipped, peppy and comfortable. It's also the only one in its segment to offer an optional diesel engine. And those who want to feel the wind in their hair can rejoice: even the convertible has a Kelley Blue Book Fair Purchase Price this side of $35,000. 2015 Lexus NX Lexus enters the burgeoning small luxury SUV segment with its NX, and has hit the ground running with what may be the best vehicle in its class. The NX, available with a gas or hybrid powertrain, is both fun to drive and offers a surprising amount of passenger room for its size. Its aggressive styling sets it apart from previous Lexus models, but the nicely equipped interior falls right in line with the standard of luxury Lexus has set.

Shark Tank meets Dragon's Den The American version of Dragon's Den has picked out the AIRPod, a $10,000 car that runs on compressed air. The odd looking car has won a development deal on the American TV program “Shark Tank. Robert Herjavec, one of the investors, or sharks, agreed to invest US$5 million in Zero Pollution Motors, the U.S. licensee for Luxembourg-based MDI, developer of the Air Car as a compression-based alternative to the internal combustion engine. In return Herjavec, a Croatian-born Canadian businessman, investor and auto racing enthusiast, will acquire 50 percent equity in Zero Pollution Motors. Pat Boone, the famous music star from the 1950s, joined Ethan Tucker of Brattleboro, Vermont, who owns the Zero Pollution Motors rights to manufacture and sell the AIRPod in Hawaii, to pitch the new eco-friendly compressed air car to the sharks. The AIRPod will be built in regional turnkey micro production factories throughout the United States. Unlike the huge traditional auto assembly plants, these plants will manufacture 80 percent of the vehicles and will sell them in the same location. This method will decrease costs and logistic problems and also has a significant beneficial impact on the environment, Tucker and Boone explained to the sharks. Hawaii is the anticipated location of the first production plant. Tucker told the sharks the islands are an ideal location for an AIRPod factory because it is a contained location, is overloaded with

vehicles, suffers from air pollution and is dependent on weekly shipments of petrol. Herjavec agreed to put up the $5 million, but only if ZPM is able to get the rights to manufacture and sell the AIRPod in the entire United States. The AIRPod vehicle was developed by French inventor and environmentalist Guy Negre. The vehicle design is owned by MDI Sa based in Luxembourg. To power the vehicle, cold air compressed in tanks to 300 times atmospheric pressure is heated and fed into the cylinders of a piston engine. No combustion occurs, so there is no air pollution. Negre has said that the air emitted from the tailpipe is cleaner than the air that goes in, due to an internal filter. The AIRPod can be refilled from a compressed air station, similar to those that exist today at gas stations for the inflation of tires but with larger capacity and higher pressure. The AIRPod can be refilled with air at home using an electric compressor and Negre hopes that, one day, drivers will be able to recharge the cars in filling stations in three minutes for as little as three dollars. Zero Pollution Motors intends to produce the first compressed air car for sale in the United States by the second half of 2015.

Aston Martin's AM37 powerboat Not satisfied with creating stylish supercars, Aston Martin is teaming up with Quintessence Yachts and naval architects Mulder Design, both from The Netherlands, to produce a 37-foot (11-m) powerboat The cabin will boast sculpted wood and hand-stitched leather The AM37 will have a top speed of around 44 knots and the AM37 S an impressive 52 knots. The AM37 powerboat is designed around a new composite structure and available as the AM37 or AM37 S. Quintessence claims the AM37 will be a classic "gran turismo" leisure powerboat while the AM37 S will be focused on providing a full-on sports powerboat experience. Both models will be built out of an epoxy resin composite with structural elements made of carbon fiber. The cabin will be decked out in sculpted wood and hand-stitched leather and boast interactive voice control and activation along with an integrated HD touchscreen for navigation and multimedia system control. It will also include some remote control features. Quintessence and Aston Martin are revealing additional design element details to potential customers on a confidential one-to-one basis.

“Over the course of our 102year history, Aston Martin has produced some of the most iconic luxury sports cars of all time," says Katia Bassi, Managing Director Aston Martin Brands. "Our contemporary designs retain classic lines whilst delivering the latest technical innovations, and the exciting range of luxury speed boats we are developing with Quintessence Yachts reflects this commitment to excellence in every field, as well as perfectly encapsulating our ‘Art of Living’ philosophy." Aston Martin has a long and well-known affiliation with 007 James Bond, but whether the new yachts make it onto the silver screen in any future Bond movies remains to be seen. If they do, this is likely to please Mulder Design, which has a history of naming a number of its previous high-speed yachts after Bond movies, including Octopussy, Moonraker and The World Is Not Enough. The AM37 is slated to debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in September, 2015. More information at: www.quintessenceyachts.com.

How to Feel Motivated When You Aren't See if you can relate to the following; It's morning. After a long and restful sleep, you all of a sudden hear the sound of something invading the amazing peace you found throughout the night. It's your alarm clock! It happens to be ringing so loud you just want to pick it up and throw it across the bedroom. The day has finally arrived. The big meeting is happening in just two hours and you realize that you have so much to do to get yourself ready for what could indeed be a life-changing event. You've been preparing for this for weeks and it's finally here. How do you feel about the upcoming event that is now just hours away?

While it all looks good on paper, if you have to be honest with yourself...the emotions you are feeling connected with the event are an entirely different story. As you survey your thoughts about today, a door seems to slam shut in your face, figuratively...not literally. You realize that you just aren't motivated or even the least bit excited about the day that is in the process of getting started. Motivation is the key word here and you just don't have any! "I just don't feel like it!", you say over and over to yourself. "If I'm going to get this done and get through it, I'm going to have to find some energy somewhere and atl least pretend that I care. This isn't good, it just isn't good!"

Does this sound familiar? So many times we'll reach a place in life where we just aren't motivated to take the next steps that appear before us. The question then becomes; how do we move forward in a positive way if we don't really feel like it?

#1 - You're only human We aren't here to feel totally psyched about everything all the time. If we did it just might be that we aren't being totally honest and in touch with ourselves. To not feel totally into everything you're supposed to be into is OK. That's life. #2 - Be kind to yourself in the midst of feeling negative Give yourself a break and understand that the lows in life are equally important as experiencing the highs in life. It is often said that to experience happiness we also must experience unhappiness from time to time otherwise how could we truly know what real happiness is? We live in a world of duality so as long as we create a healthy balance between the two, all is good.

#3 - Do you believe that you can indeed be positively motivated about the issue at hand? Life is about learning how to convert negatives into positives. The only way that will happen is if you believe and are willing to take the steps to get there. If you don't want such a shift to occur or if you happen to have a deep-seated belief that it's just not possible...then it's just not possible! #4 - Just do it! Figure out what it will take for you to feel motivated once again. Consider the possibility that it might not be as difficult as you think. For example; what are the three positives you can find in the midst of the negatives concerning the situation? There usually are at least three. You might have to dig deep to find them but they are usually there just waiting for you to discover them. Focus on the positives you've found, feel what they feel like within you and that alone can make the shift you need to make it through the task at hand. #5 - You've got the power We often forget just how incredibly powerful we truly are. Are you a victim of life's highs and lows or are you a creator and willing participant in your life? The "True You" knows that answer to that question. You are an amazing person and you came here to prove to yourself that you are just that. When you happen to forget how amazing you truly are from time to time, realize that remembering is just around the corner. Clouds are always temporary and can only obscure the light of a clear day for so long. Feeling motivated or the lack thereof is a choice. The same energy it takes to feel a lack of motivation is the same energy it takes to feel totally motivated. You are in control. Make the choices in life to serve you in a positive and productive way. Even if your mind-chatter of an ego tries to convince you otherwise. Feel your power, believe in yourself, do it!

CINEMA TOURISM (SET JETTING) IN SPAIN: 101 Locations A Guide to where 101 of the most important English language films were made in Spain. Visitors to Loja, in the province of Granada, are frequently surprised when they come across the silhouette of the Marx Brothers overlooking the village. The brothers have no connection with Loja but, curiously, the same view opens the film “Duck Soup” (1933), representing Groucho's eccentric kingdom of Sylvania. Now known as ‘Mirador (viewpoint) de Sylvania’, this monument is an example the importance of set-jetting in Spain, a country where over 700 English language films have been made and continue to be made, because as Orson Welles once said, Spain is not a country, is a continent.

Even today you can find just about any kind of scenery you need, and years ago, with the compliance of the dictator Franco, the Spanish army and police force were readily available to make all kinds of epics. Cinema tourism (set-jetting) is an undeniable fact; you only need to ask the delighted authorities of New Zealand, where they are still reaping the benefits visitors attracted by the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy.

The author meeting with John Cabrera in Denia

Here in Spain, the number of American pilgrims on the ‘Camino de Santiago’ multiplied by 5 as a direct consequence of Martin Sheen’s film “The Way.” Spain has it all; the deserts, the beaches, the forests, mountains, lakes and rivers, and of course that old Spanish castle magic. Hundreds of villages and towns were transformed in the 50s, 60s and 70s when Hollywood arrived and changed their lives. Many of today’s popular tourist resorts owe their initial prosperity to film makers, who hired entire populations, as well as the more than willing, disciplined Spanish army and police force to produce their epics about Romans, medieval knights or American GIs. In this guide there are 101 films and their locations, (the title is of course a nudge and a wink to the Disney classic about the spotted dogs), and it is hoped that readers will visit these places and share the knowledge that Spain is a lot more than sun, sand and sangria; although that’s all pretty good stuff too. The book is due for release at the end of April and will be published by the Asturian bilingual publishing company, Camelot. The book is dedicated to the memory of John Cabrera, who according to Bob Yareham, did more for the Spanish film industry than they will ever realise. Author Bob Yareham is a teacher of English and History and a journalist who has worked in Valencia since 1981. Bob has travelled all over Spain and researched the history of over 700 international films shot here in the English language. He lives near Valencia with his Spanish wife and three Spanglish sons.

THIS CARICATURE OF Hillary Clinton appears at the moment when she has decided to run for the Democratic Party nomination as Presidential candidate. Of course, the world’s pundits are excitedly predicting that the wife of former President Bill Clinton will become America’s first ever woman President. President Barack Obama has already said that Mrs Clinton, 67, would make an “excellent president”. The Republicans had also hoped to offer the product from a political dynasty as their Presdiential hope. The former Florida Governor and brother of George W Bush, Jeb Bush said on Sunday that America “must do better than the Obama-Clinton foreign policy that has damaged relationships with our allies and emboldened our enemies”. The Clinton Foundation, a charity set up by Mr and Mrs Clinton, has also been criticized for benefiting from contributions from foreign goverments. Conveniently, with immaculate timing, Hillary Clinton has announced that she has resigned from the board of directors, and that foundation policy is under review. As far at the caricature of Hillary Clinton goes, it would be easy to go overboard on the wrinkles and crinkles as some other artists have done. Personally, blessed, as I am, with a milder style, I hate risking losing the facial likeness through over-exaggeration. Another black and white one, though. Once I am happy with the pencil rough, it is a joy to turn on the music and get stuck into layer upon layer of cross-hatching

Cigar Aficionado’s Night to Remember Charity Cigar Dinner Raises Over One Million Dollars Over 200 guests gathered at the Four Seasons Restaurant on Tuesday evening for the twenty-first anniversary event of Cigar Aficionado's Night to Remember. The annual cigar dinner and fundraiser benefits the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Guests went home with Cigar Aficionado’s top cigars of 2014: No. 1: Oliva Serie V Melanio Figurado, No. 2: E.P. Carrillo La Historia E-III, and No. 3: Illusione Fume d'Amour Clementes. Many rare cigars, luxurious trips, fine wines and special humidors were auctioned off. Included in the auction items were a bottle of first growth Bordeaux that raised $150,000 and Marvin’s Mystery Box, a unique humidor that raised $200,000.

The Night to Remember charity cigar dinner raised $1.1 million toward the Prostate Cancer Foundation Tuesday night. Since its inception twenty-one years ago and with this week’s contributions, the event has raised more than $20 million in total toward the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Spanish Property Guide A quick guide to buying in Spain Are you thinking of moving to Spain? Looking for a dream home, a holiday hideaway, an investment opportunity or just a weekend and holiday place to enjoy? At Midas Touch;, we have something for you. Our team have lived and worked in Spain for more than a decade and are in a perfect position to independently advice you on where the perfect place is to start your property search. From multimillion euro hotel projects for the investor, to golf course bespoke villas made to your specifications, to front line penthouses overlooking the Mediterranean, we have all this and everything in between. We hope this guide will your first step in making an educated choice on moving to Spain. We specialise in what has become Spain's most popular choice for expatriates, the Costa Blanca.

With daily flights to Murcia, Alicante and Valencia, high speed rail connections from Madrid and an excellent road system, coupled with the excellent weather and multicultural nature of the local population, the Costa Blanca is the perfect choice for your home in Spain.

WELCOME The number one reason that the Costa Blanca is so popular is the weather. We don't often speak of climate, but of what the weather is doing and for the most part, it's very welcoming and easy to get used to. With an average of 320 days a year of sunshine and an average temperature of 19C, the Costa Blanca offers a perfect 'climate' for those that enjoy an outdoor life, with the warmer temperature helping those with aches and pains in the joints, the fresh and clean non-polluted air making it easier to breath and plenty of sunshine to enjoy everything including golf, bowls, yachting, swimming, tennis and especially sitting a waterfront cafe, watching the world go by, while you relax and enjoy a coffee with friends and quick 'tapa' to satisfy the appetite.

It's all about 'Quality of Life'.

The Spanish live longer. The elderly are more mobile, you see them in the market buying fresh fruit and vegetables every day yet everything you might desire from the UK or Ireland can easily be found. First class shopping, department stores, supermarkets, pharmacies are all available. English is spoken almost everywhere and it's easy to find English newspapers and magazines plus, a must for many people moving to Spain, you can watch English TV, sports, films, soaps, all in your living room, while enjoying the laid back Spanish lifestyle but in the knowledge that you also have all the perks of a UK lifestyle at your fingertips.

Naturally, a move to Spain can also bring with it a number of concerns: moving money abroad: banks and finances: local schools: transport: legal matters: but our team is always on hand to answer your question, put you directly in touch with professional and qualified staff and take away all your stress and worries about moving to Spain. We have contacts with every service and supplier that you might need, from Moving and Storage Companies, Builders, Personal Assistants, Architects, Lawyers, Personal Trainers and everything needed to make your move to Spain a successful and uncomplicated process. We specialise in upscale properties that have all their land rights and building regulations in place, and especially when considering a bespoke villa, these can be completed from first contact to keys to the door, in six months or less, whereas most other Spanish builders can take 18-months before you can move to your dream home.

We can also set-up and install special video cameras that allow you to view work on your property in 'real time' vial the internet, on your mobile device or computer, keeping you in touch and updated with every aspect of work progressing on your new home, should you wish a bespoke property. Our other property portfolios will supply you with photos and videos as required.

Location: Location: Location... Where you decide to live or invest should be your number one priority If you want a larger villa, more of a countryside feel and a quieter lifestyle, then possible the Costa Blanca North, in Denia or Javea might be your first choice. If you have a young family then you need to consider where the best schools are, be they International or Spanish, with lots of activities to keep them busy after school plus easy shopping close to your house. If this is the case, then the Costa Blanca South may be for you, around Torrevieja and the Orihuela Costa.

If you love your golf, then a beautiful Golf property might be ideal, especially if you opt for one of our bespoke designs. Others love living in the city, walking to the shops and enjoying the hussle and bustle of local communities. Others may want to live in local communities with other expatriates or to get away from it all, have a beautiful 'finca', a country home, with your own orange and lemon trees, totally away from city life, but probably only half an hour drive or less from a major commercial centre. No mater what your 'dream home' might be, our years of experience of living in Spain is yours, to help you discover the perfect property in Spain.

Are there any restrictions regarding buying a property in Spain? If you are from the UK, Ireland or European Union, you can buy property and live freely in Spain. If you have a different nationality, please just ask one of our team as there may be some residency requirements regarding work and length of time you can spend in Spain, We can quickly advise you of any issues that might arise.

Why Spain? Sit back for moment & ask yourself, & your family; “Why Spain? What's your motivation for wanting to move to Spain? Investment: Holiday home: Weekend Escape: Rental Property: Your dream home: Whatever the reason, take out your pen and pencil and decide on what your 'must have' points are to enable us to find the perfect property for you.

Number of beds, bathrooms and living rooms. Size and style of kitchen. Special bathroom features. Garden. Patio. Garage. Number of Cars. Storage locker. Granny Flat. Close to shops or schools. We can help with moving your money to Spain, making your finances work for you, saving you on commission charges and giving independent advise on all legal and financial matter

Money Matters Do you need a mortgage? Is this a private, personal or a partnership purchase? Do you have to sell up in the UK first?

Other costs you have to consider are such aspects as the cost of maintaining the property and spending time there: furnishings: improvements: refurbishing:moving costs, etc... Thus, within your budget, we consider all these asoectsand put you in the perfect position to make an educated decision about your new home choice.

Finding your perfect property for you You can spend days if not weeks or months searching the internet and even visiting local agents looking for a perfect property. At Terra One Estates we cut to the chase and once we find out your budget, requirements and reasons for moving to Spain, our team will put together a fact finding mission for you and present you with a list of possible properties that might be of interest to you. It's as easy at that. Once you decide on your short list, we supply you with more details as required and arrange for you to take an inspection visit.

Your Inspection Visit It's important not to just love your property but to know the area where it's located. In fact, many people organise a visit before even looking at properties, so that after they find the perfect location, we can help you with the search for that special property. We have contacts with local hotels or if you wish, you can rent a villa or apartment for the duration of your stay. One in Spain you'll find out more about shopping, schools, beaches, golf, local clubs, bars, restaurants, neighbours are all the things that you need to know, so that not only are you happy with your property, but the area that you have chosen to live. So why not organise a leisurely visit to Spain, to discover more. Take time to explore the area and find out more about why others have chosen the Costa Blanca as their choice for a property in Spain. Plan your trip so that you'll have time to relax, get to know the area, speak to the locals, visit local restautants, cafes, bars and the tourist office, walk along the beach or explore the countryside... all things that are important to allow you to make the decision on where your home should be in Spain.

Holiday Season Unless you wish to come to the Costa Blanca during the summer so that you can incorporate a holiday with looking for that special property, we'd advise coming in the off-season when it's easier to park, drive from A to B and life is 'normal' and not so rushed; as is the case in the high season. Rent in the area and really get a feel for the locale. You'll find out so much more about shopping for groceries, driving around, commercial centres, time and distance, local clubs and groups, entertainment, culture, beaches and just everyday life, allowing you a better feel as to what expect when you move to Spain.

Legal Matters At Midas Touch we can help you find an independent English speaking solicitor to help you understand amd male sense of all the Spanish legalities. Buying a home in Spain is a simple matter but the Spanish have a different way of doing all the paperwork required, than we have in the UK and Ireland. Understanding the tax, inheritance and other financial issues will be important for you to know and fully understand. We will also help and advise during the entire process as if you are happy, so are we. Don't confuse a solicitor with a notary. Spanish notaries are the the legal entities who finalise the legal contracts, pass over the monies between the buyer and seller and finalise the selling process. They are legally trained it's it's mandatory for them to oversee any property transaction in Spain. They are authorised and employed by the government and thus independent of both the buyer and vendor.

The role of a notary in a property transaction is to oversee and rubber-stamp the paperwork; check that all outstanding fees and necessary taxes are paid and register the property with the Spanish Land Registry, and of course, hand the deeds and keys of the property to you.

Managing your Spanish Property For many new home owners, especially those making Spain their first home, you may not need or want any special help to maintain your new home. Others may require a gardener, pool service, links to tradespeople, drivers, home help or cleaning services. For those renting out your property, one of the most important factors will be to obtain the services of a professional property management company. They can perform a number of services for you from keyholding, managing rental bookings, cleaning and preparing your property for guests to picking up clients at the airport. We can help put you in touch with companies who offer a variety of services including but not limited to dealing with any domestic emergency, insurance claims, power or water not working, taking care of ongoing bills, including utilities; meeting and greeting rental guests; carry out any inspections during changeovers: producing local guides; pool and maintenance and any odd jobs that need taking care off.

Moving to Spain At Midas Touch, we can help and advise on all and any aspects of planning your move to Spain. No matter what questions you may have, we are here to help. From advice on insurance, healthcare, security, investments, schools, beaches, car rental, car purchases, flights, removal companies, best restaurants, solicitors, directions, shopping, we are here for you.

MIDAS TOUCH SELECTION Valencia: Your place in the City 700,000â‚Ź This is just an amazing bargain to buy in the historical centre of Valencia near to the Torres Serranos. It is right in the heart of the Carmen but on a pedestrianised square. The whole building is for sale with over 800m2 available in four floors. There is even an extra part that is partially finished to the rear which offers a brilliant opportunity to have amazing glassed in terraces with views of the old Arabic wall that used to surround Valencia. The entrance leads us to an open plan lobby with potential to be a great common area for a hotel as there is a hotel quality kitchen on the first floor. Each floor is totally open plan with around 200m2 per floor and there whole building has been fully modernised recently. To the rear the extra unfinished part of the building stands ready to make this property extremely special. The building has plenty of possibilities and also boasts a large roof terrace and even an observatory. The potential for development is huge and the potential for eventual capital gain must also be considered if developed in the right way. This will be a brilliant hotel or it could also suit a group of friends wanting to have a flat each as each floor has a door leading from the stairwell and they are independent. There is also space to put in a lift if required. The best value building currently for sale in central Valencia in our opinion. Own the Yacht of your Dreams with Fractional Yacht Ownership Fractional ownership is a business concept that has been around for decades. It is a method of ownership that allows several people to own a 驶share始 in an expensive asset. Investors choose a fractional approach to investment when they do not want to spend the amount of money required to own the entire asset and they do not want all of the risk or hassle that accompanies ownership of such. Our Partners through Midas Touch, have pioneered the use of fractional ownership applied to a specific class of asset, the luxury yacht. The Advantages of Fractional Yacht Ownership Fractional ownership splits the cost of purchasing the asset and managing the asset across a set of owners. Because an independent professional handles management, the fractional owners are free to enjoy themselves and be removed from the management responsibilities. Each owner is free to use his/her share of the asset according to the terms of the purchase. We have applied the fractional ownership concept to luxury yachts because most yacht owners only use their yacht several weeks a year and the costs to acquire and maintain a yacht are immense. Under the our Yacht Share Program, Fractional yacht ownership is perfect for owners who want the yachting experience with no hassles and no waste of their hard earned capital, or time. Virtually all of our owners could afford to purchase the entire yacht outright, but do not want the waste that comes with letting a major asset sit idle in port and the hassle of management. It始s also a great concept for sponsorship. The most common misconception about fractional ownership is that it is a timeshare by another name. This is a mistake. With timeshare arrangements, you do not own a share in a property, merely the right to use that property for a set period of time. When your time runs out, you are left with nothing. With fractional ownership, you own the asset and receive a deeded title reflecting your ownership. If you desire, you can transfer or sell your asset whenever you want.

Aston Martin DB9 2006 Only 10,000 kms

85,000 euros

Welcome to The Classic Touch: our showcase of a few special cars to add to your collection, or kickstart a new hobby: For more details on any of these 'motors', please contact:

Luxury@MidasTouchMagazine.com

The Classic Touch Our hand picked and very special selection of classic and specialist cars. Although most of the cars are located in Spain, we have many industry contacts who can source most anything for you, with the pssible exception of a 'barn find': but we keep looking and hoping.

Aston Martin DB9 (2006) Only 10000kms LHD. Personal commission car with 543hp AM race pipes etc. 85,000 euros The Aston Martin DB9 is a grand tourer first shown by Aston Martin at the 2003 Frankfurt Auto Show. Available both as a coupe and a convertible known as the Volante, the DB9 was the successor of the DB7. It was the first model built at Aston Martin's Gaydon facility. The DB9, designed by Ian Callum and Henrik Fisker, is made largely of aluminium. The chassis is the VH platform, also found in the Aston Martin DBS. The engine, on the other hand, is the 6.0L V12 from the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish. This Aston Martin has a top speed of 295 km/h (183 mph) and a 0 to 97 km/h (60 mph) time of 4.1 seconds.

Fiat 500 L 'Lusso' (1972) Fully restored inside and out. )nly 6,300€ This version, which appeared in September 1968, had a clear mission: to meet the demands of customers looking for a car that was more comprehensive, more customised and more ‘luxurious’. The Fiat 500 L did not change where engineering and performance were concerned (engine capacity of 499.5 cc, 18 bhp, top speed of 95 km/h), but fuel consumption was down to 5.3 litres/100 km from 5.5 litres/100 km on the Fiat 500 F. The interior and exterior styling of the 500 L was new. Chrome nudge bars on the front and rear bumpers increased the length to 3.025 metres compared to 2.970 metres on the Fiat 500 F (the weight also increased by 10 kg to 530 km empty). But it was inside that the Fiat 500 L lived up to its name as the ‘luxury’version. A number of interior details were redesigned, and the seats were upholstered in leather cloth with vertical quilting, usually in a light hide colour or red. The seats themselves were better padded with reclining squabs, and the number and size of the storage compartments increased (for example in the doors). But the Fiat 500 L was a sort of swansong for the model. In 1972, when it was taken off the market, there was a new small Fiat, the 126, and from 1972 to 1975 only one version of the 500 was still in production, the last, and most basic version, the Fiat 500 R.

Subaru impreza 2008 WRX WRC MODEL BY PRODRIVE. Rare LHD model New Magnaflow group N exhaust fitted Now running 275bhp 16,995â‚Ź

Impreza WRC2008: The Impreza World Rally Car underwent its biggest external change in 2008, when the switch of base car from saloon to hatchback called for an almost complete redesign. The new car began testing in December 2007 and it made its WRC debut midway through the 2008 season in Greece. Sadly, second place there was as good as it got for the WRC2008, and eight rallies later, after Rally GB, Subaru announced it was halting its WRC programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to own a future classic, tuned to Prodrive Specs and producing 275 bhp More details: email: Luxury@MidasTouchMagazine.com.

Volvo 480es turbo 1992 75,000 kms like new . Very rare in this condition and NO rot Bargain of the Month: 2,200€ The Volvo 480 was produced in the Netherlands by Volvo Cars from 1986 to 1995. It was the first front-wheel drive car made by Volvo. In 1988, a Turbo version was introduced, the Garrett AiResearch turbocharger increasing the power from 109 PS (80 kW; 108 hp) to120 PS (88 kW; 118 hp). Maximum torque was 175 N·m (129 lb·ft) compared to the 140 N·m (103 lb·ft) for the naturally aspirated 1.7 L engine. In 1992, the 480 received new mirrors, headrests for the back seats, as well as subtle modifications to the trim and body-colour bumpers. Changes between the CEM (Central Electronic Module) are externally apparent with the introduction of a total closure system whereby the key can be held in the lock position to close the windows and (where fitted) sunroof. Earlier CEM modules feature a "passing" function for the wipers, whereby fully depressing the accelerator pedal will switch intermittent wipers to full. Early 1992 saw the first release of special editions such as the turbocharged "TwoTone" (with a two-tone paintjob)

Oldtimer Simca 1300 (Matricula HISTĂ“RICA) â‚Ź 4.650,56.357 km 01/1964 45 kW (61 CV) Simca 1300 and Simca 1500 were large family cars manufactured by the French automaker Simca in its Poissy factory from 1963 to 1966, and between 1966 and 1975 in revamped versions, as Simca 1301 and Simca 1501. They were essentially versions of the same car, fitted with either a 1.3 L or 1.5 L engine, hence the model names. Apart from different engines and differences in standard equipment, the models were for the most part identical, bar some styling details such as grille or bumpers. This model series replaced the popular, long-running Simca Aronde and was initially available only with a 4-door saloon body, but in 1964 the 1500 gained an estate version (1300 estate followed in 1965).While being quite popular, especially in France and Germany, those Simcas can be remembered for some quirks regarding both series. The 1300/1500 came with column shift for left-hand drive markets, but the right-hand drive versions were converted to floor shift. The conversion for some reason resulted in a "mirror" shift pattern, with the first and second gear being closer to the driver, and the third and fourth farther to the left. The Simca 1300/1500 is ubiquitous in the movie Playtime. Jacques Tati used the same cars in dark and grey colours as a visual cue to illustrate the uniformity of modern life in his fictional Paris..

STUNNING 360 DEGREE FILM UNVEILED AS SIR STIRLING MOSS REVISITS THE MILLE MIGLIA

The 2015 running of the Mille Miglia begins and Mercedes-Benz has combined the old and the new with the creation of a cutting edge 360 degree film to mark a special anniversary. A little over 60 years ago, on 1st May 1955, Stirling Moss and Denis Jenkinson won the Mille Miglia in a Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR – number 722. They drove flat out for 10 hours, 7 minutes and 48 seconds and averaged 98 miles per hour – all on public roads. It was recognised as one of the greatest feats of driving ever – their record still stands today. In 1955, the W 196 R racers were the most advanced cars in the world – they won every race they finished and used cutting edge materials. At a time when road cars would struggle to hit 70 mph, the W 196 R could exceed 180 mph. Today only eight examples still exist, but now and again they’re let loose… Sixty years on, Sir Stirling Moss has been reunited with the 300 SLR number 722, on the very same roads on which he won. The film released today allows you to control the camera and watch from nearly any angle as Sir Stirling Moss takes ‘722’ on the roads he and Denis Jenkinson set records on. Three dimensional sound makes the footage even more vivid. In the coming weeks the film will be available to be downloaded via iTunes (for the iPhone and iPad) and the Android Store as well as being capable of being experienced on Oculus devices such as the Samsung Gear

DVLA SETS NEW RECORD AS THE PERSONALISED REGISTRATION KR15 HNA MAKES MORE THAN £230,000

The Personalised Registration KR15 HNA has set a new British record after being auctioned by the DVLA for more than £233,000 including fees. A London-based businesswomen, who did not want to be named, fended off fierce competition from bidders from all over the UK and overseas to secure KR15 HNA, making it the most expensive current style personalised registration auctioned by the DVLA. Incredibly, shortly before KR15 HNA came up for auction during the DVLA’s second threeday auction of 2015 held at the Casa Hotel in Chesterfield, the personalised registration KR15 HAN sold for a magnificent £98,500 including fees. The DVLA’s previous record for a current style personalised registration was set in April 2006 when MR51 NGH sold for a £100,000 total sum. However, all are dwarfed by 25 O which became the most expensive Personalised Registration ever auctioned in the UK when it sold for £518,000 during DVLA Personalised Registrations’ 25th Anniversary Auction held last November. Matthew Dainton, of DVLA Personalised Registrations, said: “We had high hopes for KR15 HAN and KR15 HNA after a lot of interest being registered beforehand, both of these current style registrations contributed to an enthralling atmosphere in the auction hall, and it’s fantastic to see the prices they have achieved.”

CPOP CELEBRATES AMERICAN MUSCLE AND EIGHTIES SUPERCARS

American Muscle cars will be celebrated on Saturday 13th June with Eighties supercars taking centre stage on Sunday 14th June This year’s CPOP will celebrate ‘power’ on land, air and water with events on the famous Cholmondeley track, the world’s only flying Vulcan and a display from the Red Bull Matadors Aerobatic team CPOP runs from 12th to 14th June 2015 Two iconic groups of cars will be honoured at this year’s Cholmondeley Pageant of Power (CPOP), American Muscle cars and Eighties supercars. On Saturday 13th, this year’s power theme will be revving up with a dedicated concours of high-performance US muscle cars. One of the iconic motors featured will be a very special 1969 Ford Mustang, in the shape of a Bud Moore replica Boss 302. Honouring the famous NASCAR driver and team owner, the car was fully competition-prepared but never raced. It will be starring at CPOP alongside many other American icons, includinga 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air. On the final day of the event, visitors will be taken back to the Eighties with a celebration of eye-catching supercars likely to have been seen on many a bedroom wall. Known for pioneering the wedge-shaped design that became popular in many highperformance sports cars, the Lamborghini Countach was a true Eighties icon – and a striking 1983 LP500S will be in attendance at this year’s CPOP.

Accompanying the Countach will be another poster car heavyweight – a 1988 Ferrari Testarossa. The Pininfarina-designed ‘Red Head’, which made its debut at the 1984 Paris Auto Show, was produced until 1991. In addition to the attention-grabbing concours events, both groups will also be represented on track throughout the weekend.

James Hall, event director at CPOP, said: “There are so many amazing groups within automotive history, but these two really bring something exciting. We hope the power of the muscle cars and the nostalgia of the Eighties supercars that so many of us lusted after, will be of wide appeal to this year’s visitors. We are very grateful to Cheshire Classic Cars for their help putting the Concours together.” The eighth staging of CPOP will celebrate ‘power’ on land, air and water with events on the famous Cholmondeley track. Alongside the American Muscle cars on Saturday and Eighties supercars on Sunday, the festival will also honour the Lotus marque on Friday with a parade of every production model every made and also a dedicated concours. As for the two-wheeled aspect to the event, CPOP is welcoming bike legends Dougie Lampkin MBE and Sammy Miller MBE throughout the weekend, in addition to the Millyard Viper V10 and a Suzuki Hayabusa. In addition, Sunday will see the world’s only flying Vulcan take to the skies above Cholmondeley, with the Red Bull Matadors entertaining the crowd with an aerobatic display. This exciting air programme will follow the appearance of the RAF Typhoon Display Team on the Saturday. On the lake there will be a wide range of watersport action including jet ski racing and flyboarding demonstrations. The above, combined with camping, live music from Tenors of Rock and the RPJ Band and hundreds of exciting trade stands, will make CPOP the family-friendly motorsport event of the summer. The car was unveiled to representatives of the marque’s 130-strong global dealer network at the 2015 Rolls-Royce World Dealer Conference in Los Angeles, California today. “Our new Rolls-Royce Dawn promises a striking, seductive encounter like no other RollsRoyce to date,” said Torsten Mueller-Oetvoes, Chief Executive Officer. “Dawn is a beautiful new open-top motor car with a name that suggests the fresh opportunities that every new day holds – an awakening, an opening up of one’s senses and a burst of sunshine. It will be the most social of super-luxury motor cars for those beautiful people who wish to bathe in the sunlight of the world’s social hotspots.” Rolls-Royce Dawn is the next step in the renaissance of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars which began in 2003 with the launch of Phantom and subsequent introductions of Ghost and Wraith. It justifies the continuing investment of the BMW Group into the world’s pinnacle super-luxury brand. The new Rolls-Royce Dawn will revive another famous and rare Rolls-Royce name first used in 1949, but only ever applied to 28 very special drophead bodies between 1950 and 1954. A new beginning for Rolls-Royce at the time, the original Silver Dawn was the first Rolls-Royce

to be offered with a factory-built body. The drophead Rolls-Royces that carried the name Dawn continued to be coach-built for individual customers, ensuring their uniqueness and rarity. ‘Dawn’ perfectly expresses the character of the new Rolls-Royce. In its tentative, inchoate, anticipatory state, dawn is the world coming to light from the ethereal dark of the night. The early-day chill of dawn provides an erotic tingle on the skin, awakening the senses and

passions as the day begins. Like Eleanor Thornton, thought by many to be the inspiration behind the Spirit of Ecstasy, the Rolls-Royce Dawn will also prove itself to be the muse that leads its owner to believe that at the start of the day, anything is possible. The new Rolls-Royce Dawn is beguilingly visceral. It excites both men and women – they want it, they need it and they want to immerse themselves in it. It is languid and beautiful, fresh and fragrant and awakens the passion of your life. New life, new possibilities, fresh horizons – a tingling, anticipatory ambience in the air – all signified by a new Dawn. Rolls-Royce Dawn will launch during the first quarter of 2016.

The lightweight carbonfibre kit comprises reengineered front and rear bumpers, new front grille and headlight surrounds, wider wheel arches, bolder bonnet treatment, side skirts with an anti-slip coating on their upper surfaces, re-designed tail-lamp surrounds, and carbon replacements for the door handles, rubbing strips, door mirrors, induction vents and spare wheel cover. In addition to the body styling enhancements, the Indomitable G is fitted with a set of sixspoke Prindiville Design alloy wheels, engineered for the weight of the vehicle, and uprated brake discs and calipers to cope with an extra 50bhp. The power hike is made possible by a remapped ECU and a Prindiville sports exhaust system; the automatic gearbox’s software is also recalibrated to take into account the performance boost. Further performance tuning is available, according the whim and budget of the customer. The Prindiville Indomitable G’s cabin is retrimmed in high quality leather and Alcantara, although customers are invited to express their personal preferences for a wide range of optional upholstery finishes and colours, as well as a multitude of wood, carbonfibre and metal materials for other interior trim pieces. 0 – 62MPH IN JUST 1.73 SECONDS … WITH THE PEUGEOT VISION GRAN TURISMO... PEUGEOT Vision Gran Turismo unveiled for GT6TM video game PEUGEOT designers teamed up with PEUGEOT Sport engineers to craft an outstanding high performance endurance racer PEUGEOT’s new supercar promises a unique driving experience for GT6TM gamers exclusively to PlayStation®3 PEUGEOT Vision Gran Turismo has today been unveiled for the GT6™ video game, exclusive to PlayStation®3. Designed with a 1:1 power-to-weight ratio (875kg and 875bhp) and the ability to go from 0 to 62mph in just 1.73 seconds, PEUGEOT's new supercar promises a unique driving experience for Gran Turismo 6 (GT6™) gamers. With more than 15 cars already featured in the Vision Gran Turismo line-up, PEUGEOT has risen to the latest challenge of Kazunori Yamauchi, the man behind the flagship driving game, who tasked automotive manufacturers with designing a unique car commemorating the game's 15th anniversary. PEUGEOT designers teamed up with PEUGEOT Sport engineers to craft an outstanding supercar that has all the hallmarks of a high-performance endurance racer, brought to life in glorious high definition in GT6™. At first glance, the PEUGEOT Vision Gran Turismo reveals a striking monolithic silhouette, sculpted to sweep aside air resistance, standing just 104cm tall, with the notable absence of nearly any aerodynamic features. The body design alone is enough to effectively stick the car to the road. The central V6 turbo 3.2-litre engine, just behind the driver, feeds its 875bhp to the ground via a six-speed manual transmission and an all-wheel-drive system, comprising front 22inch alloys and rear 23-inch counterparts. This, coupled with the lightweight design (tipping the scales at just 875kg) and super-responsive steering, makes this the ideal response to the Gran Turismo challenge. In addition to this, the car benefits from phenomenal acceleration, taking it from 0 to 62mph (0-100kph) in 1.73 seconds, due to its power-toweight ratio promising one horsepower for every kilo of kerb weight. Deceleration is equally impressive, achieved with four ventilated BREMBO carbon discs (380mm at the front and 337mm at the rear). Virtual drivers will have the chance to take the PEUGEOT Vision Gran Turismofor a spin in the very near future on no fewer than 40 outstanding tracks with 107 layouts. Available exclusively on the PS3 in six colour variants, the PEUGEOT Vision Gran Turismo will be released as a part of a free update for Gran Turismo 6.

The V-2 Signal Did you know it is allowed to use a rotating flash orange light in your vehicle in certain situations? Drivers of private cars may use a rotating flashing device in their vehicle to effectively signify an emergency situation, such as an accident or a breakdown, and thus avoiding further accidents in the case of poor visibility. Besides the compulsory kit composed of “1 reflective jacket and 2 warning triangles, drivers of private vehicles may add a V-2 type light device, which may have one or several "yellow auto" coloured lights (traditional yellow colour for front, rear and indicator lights on Spanish vehicles), which should be visible in all directions from a distance of 100 meters. The V-2 will be installed above the highest direction indicator lights, without affecting the driver's visibility or the vehicle’s structure protection. Do not forget that whether or not you have a V-2 type light device, the proper way to signify an emergency situation is by using the direction indicators (hazard lights) along with the warning triangles.
