Get active these holidays and explore our great outdoors.

Ask an adult, pack a picnic and spend your days deciding what you love most about the MidCoast. Here are some ideas to get you started:

Pools - Dive in at one of our 15 public swimming pools or enclosed swimming areas. Check what facilities are available at each pool before you head out.

Beaches - Get salty by exploring our 192km of coastline, stretching from Crowdy Head in the north, down to Jimmys Beach. If you plan to swim, make sure you head to one of the many patrolled beaches. Parks and Playgrounds - Play the day away at over 140 parks, reserves and playgrounds, including Livvi’s Place in Taree, our first all-ability play space.

National Parks - Take a hike when you visit one of 58 National Parks in our region (but to protect our local wildlife, leave your four-legged friends at home).
