WHAT’S ON

ACROSS THE MIDCOAST

With a jam-packed program of fun and excitement, we’re inviting you to come out and celebrate with us this Seniors Festival.

It’s all part of the largest celebration for seniors in the southern hemisphere, where you can try something new, meet new people, and celebrate you!

This year we’re bringing you a diverse range of free activities and events that offer something for everyone, in locations across the region. Our aim in developing the program - to bring our seniors together to celebrate together.

See over for a listing of what’s on across the MidCoast region, but be quick to reserve your place as numbers for each event are limited. Scan the code or visit our website for details and to book.

Celebrate together 1 - 12 February

“let’s celebratE OUR seniors”

I encourage everyone to celebrate the important seniors in their lives at all times, but especially during this Seniors Festival.

If you are over 65, you make up almost one third of our population. I want to pay tribute to you for the countless ways you benefit our community, because of your extensive experience and skills, and the way you share this with family and with the community through your prodigious volunteering. Our community is enriched and our economy benefits through the important roles you play.

MidCoast Council is committed to enhancing the lifestyles of our ageing population as set out in our MidCoast Ageing Strategy 2022-2026.
