Students who plan to live off-campus next year:
By completing the housing intention form by 8:00 am on Monday, March 4th, Residence Life will email students the off-campus housing application.
It is important to understand that these applications are requests, not guarantees. In order for online applications to live off-campus to be approved, a student must meet one of the following:
1) living at home (parent/guardian primary residence) with parent/guardian within a 30-mile radius from campus
2) be 21 years of age by the first day of class/term
3) married or have a dependent child(ren) living with you
4) have four prior semesters of on-campus living. Inappropriate use or falsification of your application may result in disciplinary action and/or contractual responsibility and fines.
Education students had the opportunity to visit Fremont Public Schools Sensory Courtyard.
The Sensory Courtyard is just one of many avenues Midland education students have to get a sense of what teaching is all about “Students might not always think about how their environment shapes their teaching, and this is a good place for them to start thinking about that,” Bombeck said “They can learn from me in the classroom, but it helps them to be able to see how other teachers operate and how they can implement helpful ideas. It gives our students experience of what it’s like in the real world and how it impacts them It gives them a better understanding of what we can do to help kids.”
