Since 2010, MidPointe has doubled, with three additional locations (including the Bookmobile) to meet patron need and provide equitable services throughout eastern Butler County.

Starting Pointe
We know the journey to early literacy should START as soon as possible. In 2023 MidPointe launched Starting Pointe, an early literacy initiative designed to build an early foundation for lifelong learning. Enrollment is free and available for parents/guardians and their babies ages six months and younger and living in MidPointe Library System’s service area. Enrollees receive a Starting Pointe literacy kit, mailed directly to their home. The kit includes a board book, items to engage your little one while sharing stories, literacy tips specifically tailored for the age of your child, information about community resources (including how to register for the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio) and baby’s first Library card!
MidPointe also knows how valuable a lifelong relationship with your library can be, so even when your little one isn’t so little anymore, we will be in touch to share new literacy tips for growing kids, a special gift to celebrate baby’s first birthday and more!
